-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fera: He quirked his brow slightly at this, Pali herself remaining quiet and vigil as always behind him a ways. Placing his hands behind his back he cupped his wrist in his hand, looking over the man before him. Nodding to the lad as he ran off excited over his new found wealth, Fera moved slowly, to where the man was headed not wishing to impede his progress towards the fortress. “First wave of reinforcements you say. So I take it an accord of sorts has been struck with another kingdom? Are these to be human reinforcements like yourself?” Taking smaller strides he remembered that humans had a gate about them of leisure, not purpose, though he barely had to accommodate this man's stride. Watching him a bit more closely he noted the pride in his stance, the way he held himself, perhaps this man had learned from others besides the slovenly. Walking through the tunnel to the inner courtyard he continued watching Fereio, curious now about the man and his day dreaming gaze, he could almost feel the magic oozing off him though spoke nothing of it. “You don't carry yourself like an Aelman, you walk more like one of the Sylvan, tell me, what tribe did you receive teaching?” Walking up the steps he noted they were headed towards the great hall, he could only hope this man was a drinker, for alcohol tended to loosen secrets most would keep to themselves.
Ferr: I look over to the man smiling now finally out of my dreamy thought. “Well first before I speak of such things I should at least introduce my self for it may add some sliver of information you are looking for. I am Ferrio Tres of Corellian Larethein. I would like to know your name if you don’t mind.” I say acting more Elvin then I like even to the point where I spoke the language I moved toward the grate hall as I spoke. “as for the kingdom well that is true and now that they are here I can speak of such matters but let it be over some sort of Elvin drink that this place may have. I am not much of a drinker but I love silver moon sadly they don’t have it here. Further more not only human. In fact it is a wonderful mix of several races that oddly enough here seem to have races issues between them. The long story will have to come later.” as I am just glimmering from the pride that I am just absorbing from the person next to me.
Ala: She smiled at Shadi as he explained that Fera was somewhere about the keep. So long as he didn't leave it until after she explained about the Twisted that Hitomi had brought, she'd rather he didn't. "Well, I'm sure that he's discovering a lot of about us, though I'm sure that some of it confuses him as well." She gave a light shrug and smile. "I hope he gets some of the answers he's looking for and someone can explain things to him that confuse him." Her eyes twinkled. "I'm sure that he's not going to come to me with those questions, at least not immediately." Looking over towards the kitchens, she gave a soft laugh. "And since I seem to have some free time, I think that I'll head down below and go through some of the chests and such we found stored here. There've been some interesting things showing up in them." Keeping the tankard in hand and taking a sip from it as she walked, she headed to the kitchens, then to the left and was soon going down the stairs to where the castle guards, servants and storage areas were.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shadi: Shadi did a hasty accusal of himself as he found the promise of adventure more to his pallet then even the company of a fine woman. Hustling towards the kitchen he didn't even have proper time to ask if he could join really saying loudly behind her, “I would greatly like to join you General Nara, it would give something for me to do that might help. Also it would let me understand a bit more of your people.” Truth be told, married or not this woman was a curiosity, a rare thing in human culture that needed exploring.
Fera: Walking with the man he heard the introduction, so very much like his own culture and indeed in a dialect of Elven very near and dear to him. Nodding he spoke softly, stopping to allow for custom to be done justice as he stood in almost an attention sort of stance, “ I am, si Ma'eryl Tara'es (the season master), Tylor'm Byli ( Council's voice),Caedaes Os'Cyrdaedi ( Keeper of Knowledge), Voli (prince) Fera'emar ( Honor Champion) Alean'ghymn ( Of the Noble line of the Forgotten Ways). While I could go through the heritage as well, I don't foresee that aiding you any further in knowing me for now.” Following once more he watched the man more carefully, Pali didn't seem to care for the fact Fera had given a stranger his full titles though it was in his choosing to do so. Nodding in agreement to the statement of drinks he followed and looked about, noting the tail of Shadi as he moved into the kitchen, making note to reprimand him for tail chasing again.
Fereio: I under stand the words spoken and bow deeper then last time. “forgive me if I have treated you in a way the besmirches your prestige. Now may we drink and exchange information?” I say as we reach the great hall and beckon the man in before me

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Avarill May 31, 2008
NARA: Nara paced the room, trying to figure out exactly how to tell them about the Twisted that Hitomi had brought and before she could, there was a knock on the door. "Now what?" she muttered under her breath, moving to open the door. A servant stood there, looking nervous. "General Lasheea, General Rustam would like you to join him in the war room. It seems that...the Dowager Queen Vashal has been returned to us. I'm also to get Lord Reaver to join you as well." Nara's brows lifted in surprise when she heard Lindra called the Dowager Queen, realizing that this meant that Ramius was no more and that they had had a child. Closing her eyes and sighing, she then opened them and turned to look over at the High Elves. "Forgive me, Lord Aleang'hymn, but it seems that people are intent on making the wedding to be a bit more exciting than it was. It seems I will have to explain what I need to speak to you about at a later time, however, there is someone that I would like you to meet. I apologize for the delay. On the way to the war room, Nara noticed Adrian stepping out and walked over to him. When she reached him, he whispered in her ear that yet another emergency had occurred and asked if she would handle things regarding Salindra. Heaving a heavy sigh, she nodded, then walked to the door and opened it, waiting for the elves to enter before her.
BARDEN: Barden stood tall. Apparently a change had come. Just who was this woman? How had she known to come to Stone Talon? How unfortunate for the bride and groom that their ceremony be interrupted by perhaps another refugee escaping the tyranny of the empire. But there was something about her. She wore no jewelry save for a ring, and her undergarment seemed to be of a fine fabric. He did not scrutinize the ring too closely, much less that which showed beneath the cape she was wrapped in. Staring would be unbecoming of a man; least of all a captain of the Rebel army. His expression changed as his eyes met with Alannara, who you would never fathom within a 100 years that she was a general bred in battle with the way she was dressed. He waited for someone to dismiss him as the ambiance looked as if she would be more at ease speaking to Alannara alone.
REAVER: Reaver has been lurking in the shadows, as it were, keeping to himself in the face of so many intrusive presences. The guests for the wedding exuberantly celebrating as if they were themselves responsible for the joining of Adrian and Nara, though nothing could be farther from the truth. In order to avoid causing undue distress to the visitors, he has placed himself at a quiet table, in a back corner where people are less likely to stumble across him, and those who do turn away quickly enough at the expression they see adorning his face. However, one willful individual seems to be ignoring the shadowed features, approaching with a determined stride, and Reaver's eyes narrow as he watches Nara's mother move through the crowd in a line pointed arrow-straight at the table he is seated at. As his muscles begin to subtly coil and ready themselves for action, his line of sight is broken by the arrival of a servant, who bows slightly and says, "General, your presence is requested. If you'll follow me, General Lasheea-Rustam would like to speak with you on matters of importance." Reaver nods and stands, a smirk coming to rest on his lips as the matron of the Lasheea clan steps up to him and opens her mouth to speak. His words cut off anything she might have had to say, however, coming forth with barely-concealed amusement. "I truly regret, milady, that I cannot attend you at this time. Important matters have come to light, and my presence is required elsewhere." Without another word, he turns and gestures for the servant to lead on, chuckling to himself at the shocked, mildly outraged silence which remains behind.
LEA: Lea, lifted her hands gently from Minori, who remained on the treatment table in the infirmary. She stepped back noticing he had passed out, thinking nothing of it as it was very common. Then with a suddenness that startled the elf, there was a jerk as he woke up and grunted. She leaned closer to him, a faint vanilla scent of her perfume in the air around her, “M’lord, You are in the infirmary at Stone Talon Keep, just rest while the healing takes effect and mends your injuries” She waved to Suri for her to bring water for drinking and washing away the blood before returning her gaze to Minori.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FERA: Fera was about to comment on the Tainted when the servant came in mentioning a dire meeting. He was about to bite back at a growl at yet another interruption, when Nara invited them to join her. Glancing to Pali then to Shadi, he shook his head at his inebriated Shield Hand and turned back to Nara with a nod. “As you wish.” Following her out, it occurred to him that the woman was not with her groom and was not secluded in a room as should be their right at this hour. The drinking, cheers and toasts had been made, they should not be seeing to their guests, but vice versa. Perhaps things here were far more different than he guessed. He watched from the corner of his eye as Pali slid up alongside her brother and growled in hushed tones at his drunkenness. His laughing whispers back brought a partial upturn to the corner of his mouth. Not all things were different... Shadi was still quick to turn up a goblet when offered and empty it.
SHADI: Shadi laughed as Pali grabbed his arms when the others headed into the hallway. “This is a moment of celebration, sister of my heart and blood.” He wrapped an arm around her which she swiftly thrust from her shoulder. “Surely you cannot see the harm in celebrating as they do. For shame, to think we could do less than join in such celebrations without imbuing ourselves of what is offered.” He laughed and leaned a bit on her ignoring the fact his arm was now more than half off her shoulder. But as she growled once more with curses to make a dwarf blush, he straightened himself and managed to look only tired and not so 'out of sorts' as they rounded the corner and others appeared.
SALINDRA: Salindra sat quietly on the edge of her seat, Sir Ironhelm's cloak over the night dress she wore. She took a deep breath, preparing to explain when one of the soldier's knocked on the door and requested to speak to General Rustam. General Rustam excused himself, explaining that General Lasheea Rustam was on her way, as well as General Zerstorung. Salindra sighed softly, looking down at the ring on her right hand and frowned at it. She didn't recall putting a ring on, nor was it one that was familiar to her. She sighed softly. Right now jewelry wasn't important. Explaining everything to the Rebels was. She also hoped that General Zerstorung would be able to find a way to dispel the spell that Lord Chorister had placed on her son, making it impossible for the boy to leave his palace complex. She felt the tears begin in her eyes as she thought of Ramiel. No word had been heard about Ramius for her entire captivity and she had resigned herself to his death. He wouldn't have left her to fend for herself and their child had he lived. As she stared at the ring, twisting it on her finger, the door opened up and she watched as three elves entered, followed by General Lasheea Rustam. It was shortly after that that General Zerstorung followed. Salindra remained seated until General Lasheea Rustam moved over to the desk and leaned against it. "Good day, General Lasheea Rustam, General Zerstorung." Salindra's eyes moved to the three elves, curiosity in her eyes, before she turned to look back at General Lasheea Rustam. "It seems that I have intruded upon some festival."
PALI: She nodded and smiled as Nara invited them. Seeing Fera defer to her to see if there was something else they had more pressing to do, she smiled. “Lady Nara, today is your day. If you wish us with you, we will gladly come. If you wish for us to return to a place outside the eyes and ears of your guests, I am sure we can find other things to do as well.” Keeping the smile on her lips till Fera and her left the room, Pali turned and glared in a wholly new light at Shadi. “How COULD you get so drunk when there is a keep full of strangers around our prince in a setting that fairly screams for attack?” Her rage was almost burning across his skin as she spoke.
PALI: His arm on her shoulder only infuriated her further and she stalked down the hallway, half holding him up and hoping no one would see that the Shield and Sword Arms of the Prince were not to their fullest at this moment.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KETO: His eyes just stared up into the air when he awoke. He couldn't think about anything but how his uncle, dead not even a few hours, had spoken to him in someplace. The words bothered him greatly. Suddenly Lea's voice catches his ears and he looks at her, blinking. He only nods for now, laying back and closing his eyes, relaxing. His thoughts go back to his uncles words. The cube he had read has some form of secret in it... something from his father's memories stored withing the cube. Minori remembers reading the rune on the cube in which something entered him, and the cube was in pieces. Then that dream of shuffling papers he had had only twice, those fast shuffling papers that were something. But what? Some hidden treasure... or even a weapon. Minori physically shook his head, opening his eyes and looks back at Lea. "Thanks for the healing," he says, taking a deep breath and trying to fight back his feeling of sadness, remorse and guilt he had about killing his uncle.
NARA: Smiling at Salindra as she moved to lean on the desk, she shook her head. "Nara, Lindra, unless you prefer to now be called Your Majesty?" When Lindra shook her head, Nara nodded and turned towards the High Elves. "Lindra, I'd like to introduce you to our guests, Prince Fera'emar Aleang'hymn and his companions, Pali and Shadi." She smiled ruefully at Pali and Shadi. "Forgive me, but I have trouble with the elven tongue and felt unable to give your full names." She turned to look at Lindra and saw her gracefully rise from her seat and curtsy to Prince Aleang'hymn, her movements fluid and smooth as she rose to her feet. Once she had risen, Nara smiled at her. "You didn't interrupt a festival, Lindra. Adrian and I were married today, though I'm glad you are here for the occasion. However, I don't believe that you came with the intent on enjoying our nuptials," she said, noting her attire and Barden's cloak over her shoulders. With a polite gesture, she offered the High Elves seats, noted Captain Ironhelm standing at attention by the wall. "Relax, Captain Barden. I take it you were the one that located Perdania's Queen?"
BARDEN: "That I was, General..." In this case she was general and not 'My Lady' though she could pass for someone of the court... but those that knew her... knew that she could never fit into that crowd,... to them nobility came by being bred into it... and to her.. it was a genuine respect gained by acts of courage, and cunning,..."She was gated here by the foot of the plateau...as I was idly riding there.."
LEA: Lea looked at Minori, seeing sadness in the man’s eyes and mistaking it for pain..” Is there much pain m’lord? I can give you a potion that would help” She lets her hand fall on his head, checking for a cold clammy feeling, a frown of concern for her patient showing on her high cheeked features. She moves her vision to where the wounds were healing up to be sure the healing had worked. Then looked back at his face for an answer.
SALINDRA: After curtsying to Prince Aleang'hymn, Salindra turned to face Nara. "You're wedding? Oh, congratulations, General Lasheea! Or is it Rustam now?" She shook her head, slightly bemused at the thought of two General Rustams in Stone Talon. She sighed softly, then turned as Nara spoke of Sir Ironhelm, no the General had called him Captain Ironhelm and smiled sweetly. She faced the General once more. "The Captain was kind enough to bring me up to Stone Talon. I feared that I had been away too long for the thorn wall to recall me." She took a deep breath. "I'm sorry to intrude on your wedding, General Rustam..." As Nara shook her head, Salindra smiled wanly. "Ramius...I believe he's dead, since he disappeared nigh onto three and a half years ago. Since that time, my son, Ramiel and I have been Lord Chorister's captive." She dropped her head for a moment, controlling her urge to cry, then raised her head, though her aquamarine eyes glistened wetly with the tears she withheld. "I received a letter from him, though to others it seems to appear as a writ of passage. In it, he states that it I have been charged with a murder most foul, that he holds my son to protect him from me and if I should return to Noble lands, I will be killed as a murderess. I fear that I defied him once too many." She took a deep and steadying breath, tossing her head back and standing regally. "I would not leave my son, you see, not in that monster's hands, so he found a way to force me to leave. He has bespelled poor Ramiel. Should he step from the palace grounds, my son dies." Salindra's hand tightened around the parchment she held in her hand, then raised it, offering the parchment to Reaver. "Milord, you are a good and cunning mage. Perhaps you would be able to dispel the magic that is upon it, to show the truth of my words." Reaver took the parchment from her and stepping away, unrolled it, scanning it with a frown.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FERA: Fera listened to the conversation and wondered how this woman had come to be in such a predicament. As Nara introduced them he nodded. Pali and Shadi bowing at the introductions and nodding in assurance to the slight of their names. He knew they would not take offense. It was a difficult tongue for humans to grasp and Nara had done better than more. As he listed to the woman speak he thought surely the woman had more to her story than what she was letting on now. As seats were offered, Fera was sure to sit himself on Nara's side opposite her man. He felt it necessary to see to it she was protected, even here in her own Keep. Something tingled over his skin and he didn't like the feel of it. His skin would prickle slightly as the chill of his wintry namesake shimmered thru his mind once more. If there was something amiss, he would be sure to be ready.
SHADI: He sobered up as he stepped thru the doorway and saw the frightened woman in the cloak. Who would do such a thing to a female? It never ceased to amaze him how low the women in other races were sometimes placed. Pawns, pieces, trinkets and baubles. They were things to be traded, stolen, used, abused and tossed aside like weathered pieces of cracked wood with no purpose. He let his fingers dance idly on his sword pommel as he thought more and more they should ally with these humans if for no other reason than to help them be rid of this viscous man who claimed such power without due following. He took a seat beside Fera as it was offered, on the side opposite the Lady Nara.
PALI: She bit her lip a moment then stood near the door, behind those chatting with the female. She had her hands crossed before her and was idly wondering what they could do to help. This woman wasn't theirs and as for the humans... she sighed. There had been little talk of the elves' PURPOSE here other than to parade around in dress garb at at wedding they knew nothing about, and even the bride and groom seemed uncomfortable attending. As the woman talked, she absently fiddled with something in her hands. As Pali stepped sideways to glance between Ala and Fera, she noted a ring on the woman's finger. Just as her eyes caught it, a small shiver ran down her spine.
There was something... stepping closer, she whispered to Nara's ear so her and Fera at her side would hear. “The ring... it's not... right.” Tilting her head towards Fera now she spoke in elven, unable to find the words in common. “Sa'esi air'ei sal'ol, sher air kyli... byrn.” ((There is a tainting, but it is gone... now.)) Whatever it had once been capable of, the ring was no longer a threat. But there was a magic tied to it, slowly unraveling, that the woman seemed unaware of, or in her fiddling, was activating. She shifted her hand to her pommel wondering if the woman before them was a trap and not a victim after all. Fera glanced over his shoulder at the elf who nodded. She was sure of it. <c> llewelynn_pendragon (5/31/2008 10:41:31 PM): Glancing now to Nara, Fera found his own hand absently resting on his pommel as he whispered softly to her. “It is not there now, but it was. She is not what she seems.” As Reaver was handed the parchment, Pali shuddered. Stepping up to Reaver she proffered her hand wishing to see and feel the letter on her own. As he handed it to her frowning slightly she took it and gasped. Without hesitation, she was soon rolling it swiftly. She grabbed the nearest piece of cloth, which happened to be her brother's cloak, and wrapped it tightly without managing to quell her growl. Unclasping the cloak from Shadi's neck, she handed him back the elven leaf broach and looked to Nara. “Forgive me, Mlady. But the parchment has a spell on it. I am not sure the cloak will be of use, but something tells me this is not what it seems. Reaver stepped forward and nodded. “I believe she is right. There is a magic here that the woman is unaware of.” He reached for the scroll in the cloak and Pali handed it over. “I hear you can bend that which is before you. If I make a spell to cover this, can you bind the scroll and cloak so it is blocked with magic and elemental fire you posses?” Pali nodded and smiled with a grin almost as feral as a demon. “I can do that, Mlord.” Fera rose and stood between Nara and the magic being performed. They had come to seek an alliance and to let something happen to her now would be be tantamount to failure for him. It took all he had not to reach out and simply destroy the scroll. If Pali was worried, it had no business existing. He had learned to trust her feelings, which he didn't do on his own. But it wasn't his scroll to make the decision on. Surely they had a reason for saving it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A moment later Reaver had produced the energy and Pali had bent it around the cloak till it seemed wrapped in a glistening red crystal. In truth it was fire captured between two layers of Reaver's twisted magic and it bound the spell in a way that the one who created it would no longer feel it and those who held it would not be able to destroy it. She handed it back to Reaver who promised to see to its care. As he left the room, Pali leaned against the wall. Bending the magic that was not of the elements had taken more from her than she would admit, but leaning on the wall seemed almost benign and hopefully no one would notice the difference in her pallor or the lack of shine in her eyes as her fatigue manifested itself.
MINORI: Minori looked up at Lea shaking his head. "I'm in pain in a way a healer like you couldn't heal, M'lady. Please don't worry though I should be over my uncles death soon. " He said not wanting to speak too much about it as he didn't want to mention he has killed the man. In the family I come from I become accustomed to pain as we never wore armor in our training. helped our bodies become strong enough to endure a lot. but as for my mind I'm not so sure. " His forehead would feel normal Because he knew how healers act he wouldn't try getting up right now because he didn't feel like being scolded. The feeling of his flesh knitting together as healing was there still present. " My name is Minori M'lady I'm sorry if we had met before but I'm terrible with names. " He says chuckling a little bit.
NARA: Pondering Lindra's words, her brows furrowed. The last she had heard from Ramius was when he got impatient and left the keep, feeling that the Rebels were moving too slowly to suit him. He had changed from the man she had met after he had wed Salindra. She knew he had been disappointed to learn about Adrian and that he was alive, having attempted to court her, prior to courting Salindra. Still, it was not like him to abandon his wife when she was carrying his child. She watched quietly as Lindra handed the scroll towards Reaver, only to start when Pali grabbed it, rolled it and then wrapped it in the cloak before she and Reaver dispelled whatever magics were upon it. She sighed as Reaver took the scroll and left, nodding to Nara to let her know it was as Lindra had said. He was probably going to study it and attempt to learn a bit more about Adamire through that. She glanced at Lord Alean'ghymn, then at Pali, seeing her lean against the wall. She'd watched enough mages to know that they generally tired after spell casting. Turning back to Lindra, she smiled at her gently. "I can understand the pain you must feel, being separated from your son and knowing he is in Adamire's hands. I have children of my own and know how it would tear my heart apart if he had one or both in his hands." Nara started as Lindra's eyes widened. "And for you, dear friend, it's Nara, not General Rustam or Lasheea or Rustam Lasheea." She chuckled. "Rather a mouth full, that." She turned her attention to Barden, smiling at him. "It was good of you to come to Lindra's aid, Captain. I've seen your abilities and that of your men. With that in mind, would you honor Queen Salindra in having you and your men as her personal guards? I fear that Lord Chorister is not quite done with the lady yet."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BARDEN: "By the code and measure of the Red Lions.. we pledge her safety ".. his voice took a certain tone as he spoke... having heard everything she had gone through, much had come to pass in the while that they had left Vanaheim...and the war was far from over...but it was when such things as a deposed queen were like embers to the fire the burned in all of them...in days passed.. you were commissioned by your ruler to continue his politics with blood... you had no choice... but.. given the knowledge of a rightful cause.. makes everyone going into battle a hero.. even with odds stacked 100 - 1 you march on, because you know that valor pleases the gods.. of such a death man's ancestors are surely proud.
LEA: Lea nodded, assured his physical self was on the right track. “I am sorry to hear of your loss M’lord Minori. I am Leathynos Silthas, Healer of Queen” her voice was soft with an elven accent woven into it. “You will be able to sit soon, and I cannot release you as fit until you have taken in food and drink” She looked again at Suri. “He looks on the mend, are there any others that arrived needed attention. The younger healer shook her head no. “Very Well” Lea said as she looked at Minori. “Would you like to have your head raised?” She said offering him a pillow.
PALI: Pali growled slightly as the crowd seemed to get bigger. Moving forward once more, she leaned over Ferae's shoulder and whispered, "Mlord, I believe we should regroup and discuss this new threat. It seems there is more here to discuss than merely attacks from Tainted." Shadi nodded in agreement. Whatever alcohol had been in him was gone now. Pali's magic, tied to him from the fact they were twins, had burned off the last of the affect and he was more sober now than before they had begun the ceremonial celebrations.
FERA: Fera nodded and turned to Nara as he rose. "General, Nara... if you will excuse us. I believe Pali and I should speak to Reaver about this scroll and see what threat it brings to the Keep and those within. We are here to speak of things such as this and I fear you have more pressing matters." He nodded with a half smile towards her gown and the fact she was recently married. Bowing he let Pali proceed him and Shadi managed to lift her hand to kiss it swiftly before he departed with a hastily whispered, "Congratulations, General, to you and your beloved." Soon the three elves had departed to their rooms to discuss what was to come. Such things as the alliance negotiations would seem to have a more heavy weight now in light of the recent events.
SALINDRA: Salindra watched as Lord Reaver and the elven woman worked their spells to counter whatever Lord Chorister had put upon it. After they were done and Lord Reaver had acknowledged that it was as she said with her nod, she took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. She turned to face the general as she spoke, smiling slightly as she was told to use her name. When she heard that the general had children, she paled, eyes going wide and gasped softly. Salindra didn't hear the general speak to Barden, her mind playing and replaying over and over that the general had children. Finally, she managed to gasp out, "Pray all that is holy, tell me that your children are sons!" Reaching back unsteadily for the chair she had been seated in, she backed until she felt the edge of the chair against her knees. Slowly, she sank to downwards, sitting on the edge of the chair, her anxious eyes never leaving Nara's, before she closed them and drew in a deep, calming breath. Once Salindra was calm, the conversation around her began to once again make sense and her head turned to Captain Barden as he spoke, smiling slightly. "It will be an honor to have one such as Captain Barden as a protector," Salindra said, turning back to face Nara. "I'm sure that he has men as gallant and well trained as he and that they would lay down their lives to protect those under their care." Glancing down at her attire, she smiled once more. "Nara, if I may, I would like a bath and to be able to change before we talk further. I fear that my attire is not quite what would be appropriate for your wedding celebration. There is much I have to speak with you and General Rustam about, but I have already taken you away from your guests long enough. If you could tell me where I am to abide?" she asked as she watched the elves bid their own farewells to the general.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MINORI: Minori looks at her. " Nice to finally know the name to a face. " He says shaking his head softly." No thank you. I understand your a healer and all..but I was trained by my father and my...." He sighed biting his lower lip. then his face hardened up. " my uncle also trained my to fight. I'm not one to let any small thing keep me down. " Had started to move a little not going toward becoming vertical. but enough to get some blood circulating or at least how much he had left. " Mind if I ask something...I mean I know that there are those with the power to heal but...is it natural or is it some spell or divine gift? " He asked truly curious about it plus getting his mind off his current troubles.
BARDEN: "Yes Gen... my la...Nara" He put his right fist over his heart and extended his arm to Salindra. "Your highness" though deposted there was no doubting that she was the rightful ruler. If her title gave her any hope of identity, then let her keep it. For who was she now that she had lost everything? He didn't say much other than, "Thou will do well with us Ye hast much to teach of where we may go soon." He pounded on a door. He was let inside. There were servants that would see to her needs. "She will be staying with us. Tend to her and place her near our barracks." She started taking off the cape he'd loaned her but he held up his hand, "I shall come for it later"
LEA: Lea spoke softly still “Well m’lord Minori, I am blessed by my goddess with the gift of healing, since I was a young girl” As he sat up, she supported him as she could, though he was bigger then she was as were most humans. She reached for a drink of water and offered it to him. “I can’t let you leave just yet m’lord, not without the assurance you can drink and eat.”
