Liz's face was one of shock and awe. "I ... I hit him!" She glanced at Tal as he said to get out of there. Shoving the level in the opposite direction, Liz headed out of the hospital as fast as she safely could.
Once into the mainstream of traffic, she shook her head as shock set in. "I hit him, Tal. I mean... I didn't think I would. Thought he would move... or something. The others, in the hospital!" She looked over at Tal with worry on her face. "We have to send help." There was a small cut on her right temple, where Tal could see her head had smacked into her seat when she had slammed on her brakes. "Tal... what happened? Why did they attack the hospital?" Her breathing was shallow as she realized what had transpired. All those people, still in the hospital. She couldn't leave them.
Without thinking, she changed lanes and a minute later was heading back the way they had come.

"I don't know..." -Were the only words that Tal could utter from his mouth. The attack on the hospital wasn't aimed towards him.... was it? The mandalorian was one thing; he had attacked both him and Liz. But there had to be something to it. A reason? His fingers grazed over the blade of the beskad.- "A weapon of Mandalore," -Tal said calmly. He turned it over; it had markings of old on it. Engravings of various words that seemed to faded for even Kote to read.-
Why? -Closing his yellow eyes; Kote leaned back in his seat. He took in a deep breath of air and exhaled. This attack wasn't like Telos or Druckenwell. It was different, and Tal couldn't figure out why...-
"Don't go back to the hospital Liz," -Tal said calmly... almost like a whisper. It only seemed like he was fading in and out consciousness. After a moment his eyes opened and looked over to her.- "That warrior will be waiting for us. Don't go back there... we need to find someone. We need to get the authorities involved Liz..." -Setting the bladed weapon down next to him; he adjusted himself carefully while they continued down the highway.-

The fact that Tal didn't know didn't really surprise her. How could he have known. He had been in a hospital bed for the last several weeks.
But when he muttered not to go back, she frowned. He was right of course. But it still bothered her they wouldn't be able to help those other people. "Maybe if we stay out of the parking garage..." She shook her head. "I know... he will find us." She moved around in traffic till they reached the authorities closest to the hospital.
"Wait here... you need to rest." She leaned over without thinking and kissed him full and deep and whispered. "I finally got you... I don't want to lose you again." She smiled and got out of the speeder to go make her report.
Once inside, she made a quick query of the man behind the desk. He directed her to someone who sent her to someone else who finally sat her down in a room and closed the door. A long window, one way, she guessed, took up a whole wall across from where she was sitting.
She glanced at the chrono on the wall and frowned. She had been here almost twenty minutes already. That means it was more than half an hour since she left Tal. She tried the door but it was locked. "HEY!" She pounded on the door. "HEY!... ANYONE OUT THERE!" She even tried to look through the glass but whatever was making it dark, wouldn't allow her to see anything through it from this side. She had seen interrogation glass before, knew it was useless, but tried anyway. "HHEELLOOO!!! ANYONE IN THERE?" She hollered and banged on the glass, then again on the door, till the side of her hand was sore.

-As much as he wanted to get answers from that unknown warrior; he couldn't. Kote was in no condition to do anything. He was able to gather enough strength to fight off the mandalorian, but that was mostly it. He hardly had enough time to go through basic rehab. And to jump out of bed like this.. well it was against his doctors orders; he could very well injured something in his back. Liz seemed just as worried about him, but they were able to make it out of the hospital alive. Now their best option was to find the authorities and get them involved. Arriving on scene; Liz had leaned over and kissed him deep before telling him to rest up. As soon as she left; the blond mandalorian was surprised.-
-Time seemed to tick idly by; twenty minutes since she had gone into the station. Sitting up in the speeder, Kote glanced around. By now it would be to late to get someone to the hospital. Or did someone already go there? Naboo was a peaceful place; so it was rather difficult to tell. Still this seemed to be taking longer then need be.-
"I hope all is okay?" -Tal whispered quietly.-

Over half an hour later, Liz came back outside fuming and cursing under her breath with enough words even a soldier would be taken aback. Getting into the speeder she frowned. "They thought I had something to do with it. There was footage, taken from the hallway, showing me getting into the lift as weapons fire struck the door." She shook her head.
"I had to explain to them who I was, which I couldn't prove because my bag is still up in your room. And then I tried telling them I was with you. But of curse they didn't believe that either till they finally got a hold of someone at the hospital." She turned to Tal and frowned. "Only the floor you were on and the garage showed any signs of anything. Whatever they were seeking, they either didn't find. Or it was you, Tal." She put her hand on his arm as she slowly calmed down. "There are almost 40 dead and wounded. And no one else recalls seeing the Mandelorian." She shook her head. "Tal, there was no sign of him, even in the garage. I don't think he's dead. If he is, someone is cleaning things up."
Her hair was a mess, and her shirt torn on one side. Her lip was swollen still from biting it at some point, and the bruise on her temple was deepening in color though the cut had stopped bleeding. Her pants looked a little worse for wear and she still managed to smile, more worried about him then herself. "Tal... we need to get you someplace safe. Someone needs to make sure you didn't do more harm than good in moving as quick as you did."

-Thirty minutes -- or whatever time there was to get the authorities involved -- gave the Mandalorian enough time to rest and recuperate over what had transpired. Of course he had gone against doctors orders and moved, but that wasn't really on his mind. That mandalorian warrior. The one in orange and black armor had his attention. Now the only thing that he had of his was the beskad he wielded. A blade-like weapon that seemed to hold a lot of memories. Gripping it firmly in his hand; Kote had glanced it over several times. From the shape of the hilt all the way down to it's blade. Who else would wield such a weapon? A lot was going through his head.-
Death Watch...?
"It has to be them," -Tal said in a whisper.- "It has to be them."
-He had recalled a few times of Death Watch members utilizing bladed weapons in combat. Beskad were well known for blade on blade combat. Tal, himself, and specialized in close range combat. He wasn't as big as a fighter in long ranged combat. Utilizing bladed weapon was were he shined. He had shown Liz some defensive maneuvers in case something happened while he wasn't around. Gripping the blade firmly; his gaze then shifted.-
-Liz stepped out rambling on about how the authorities weren't believing a single word that she said. But it only seemed after some coaxing and communications; they had made contact with the hospital and found out about what had happened. Only one floor... out all the other floors and rooms. That had to be the one that was attacked by this mandalorian warrior... or whoever he was. Yellow eyes lifted up just as she touched his arm. He wasn't in the best shape either, but at least his attire was still somewhat clean. Hair a little messy and alive... yes they were indeed alive and well.-
"It's okay Liz," -Tal said calmly sitting up. Lowering the weapon down he placed his hand on hers.- "We are alive. Whatever happened back there; they are solving it. Let's just be thankful we are alive and well. Now let's get going; I'm curious to know if I've done more harm then good." -Chuckling about his surgery; Kote sat back in his seat while they drove off from the station.-
