DARK REALMS
VALHALLA
"From Dreams to Reality" Posted: Sun May 20, 2007 4:15 am Alexa Llewel woke up and frowned. Something had troubled her dreams again. It was as if for the last fortnight she had wakened in the morning with the feeling she should be doing something, but she wasn't sure what.
Sliding her legs out of bed and onto the floor she let her heels brush comfortingly against the sword she had laid there last night, like every night before. But this morning was different. Bending down till she could see under the bed, she noticed something behind her sword in the shadows of the mattress. She slid off the bed to her knees and pulled her own blessed sword out only to find a wrapped bundle behind it. She pulled it out and unrolled it to find a short sword in a sheath of leather studded with beautiful emeralds. Laying it on the bed she took the hilt as if to draw it, but it seemed to her as if she always held it before. Drawing it out slowly, she noticed strange runes on the blade. She slid the metal home again into its leather case and re-wrapped it. Better to pull such things out and examine them in places more guarded than her own bedroom.
She got dressed swiftly and buckled her own sword to her hip. Once the thigh tie was knotted she took up the bundle with the strange blade in it and made her way out of her room, locking it behind her and noting it had been locked when she woke. No one had broken in.
She made her way thru the common room int he barracks, nodding now and then to a greeting from guards coming and going during change of shift and headed out into the courtyard and across to the practice salle. She went in and went to one of the practice benches against the wall. Noting no one was about, and probably wouldn't be for at least several more candle marks, she opened the bundle once more. But this time, as she took the handle of the strange sword, her own sword hummed softly against her leg as if vibrating with the knowledge of what she held. She drew the strange sword out all the way and looked at it in the streaming sunlight coming thru the many windows around the practice ring. The runes were the same as those on her sword. Whispering to herself she read the familiar characters. "'With this sword, let Magic make three. The Triumvirate set, a blessed trinity.' Three? How ..." He eyebrows rose and she gasped as her hand shook to the point she had to set the blade down on the bench lest she dropped it. "Of course... Excalibur...Nicarus...." She patted the sword on her leg affectionately. "And who are you?"
She closed her eyes a moment and listened to the hum of her own sword. Caressing the blade of the strange sword sh felt her lips begin to move and softly a single coherent word came from the syllables she was uttering. ".......Mythrina......." She opened her eyes and smiled. "That's your name isn't it?" Suddenly both swords stopped vibrating and lay cold and silent where they were. She frowned. Why was this happening now? Did it have to do with the dreams? Was she supposed to find the owner of the third sword? She sheathed and re-wrapped the sword and hurried into the back work room where the practice blades and things were kept. Stashing it deep behind and under a pile of old swords and practice leathers, she frowned and left the salle to make her morning rounds. "Someone else will find it and make the journey. I am happy here. I don't want to find more heart ache." She sighed and went on her rounds wondering if she should mention it to anyone and deciding against it.
Llewel Protector *************************** Posted: Thu May 24, 2007 5:16 am Alexa Llewel had spent the day doing everything she usually did; from practice with the guards, to a wander thru the posts to gather daily reports. She even had lunch with the other Captains and discussed the bandit situation the boat docks to Avalon were suffering from. By the time she headed to her room to sleep, she had completely forgotten the strange sword and the events of the morning.
Going thru her evening routine and getting ready to sleep, she hummed an ancient lullaby. One she hadn't realized she had nearly forgotten till the tune took over and the soft smile on her lips settled.
Moving to the bed as the lullaby came to an end, she moved her own sword from the coverings to the floor and was about to slide it under the edge of the bed when the hum happened again. Her sword vibrated in her grasp and she bent down to discover the other sword laying on the wooden floorboards where it had been that morning.
"Now where did you come from?" She frowned. She left it there and crawled into bed pondering how it had gotten into her locked room without her knowledge.
That night she dreamt of a place where her own sword lay on a table with its point towards the center. One two other seating places were the swords Excalibur and her strange sword Mythrina. The three of them, points touching, hilts parted in a triangle, were laying on a table of colored woods and there was a design on it she couldn't make out.
Waking in a sweat she found both swords laying on the bed on either side of her. "I need to go..." was all she whispered as the false dawn crept in her window while she padded from her bed and began to dress.
By the time the sun had kissed the horizon and the guards outside were changing shifts, Llewel was packed and heading down the hall towards the back door. Passing the Captain's office she let him know she would be gone on a mission for a while and was unsure when she would be returning. Given who she was, he was not phased and merely wished her a safe travel.
Mounting her horse less than a few candle marks later, she headed down to the beach and caught the ferry off Avalon and back towards the mainland.
She knew she was on the right path when the humming between the twin blades, now on her hip and strapped to her back, ceased and became quiet as if telling her she was going right.
She didn't know where she was going, only that she had to be there...
... and soon.
Llewel Protector ******************************************* Posted: Fri Jun 08, 2007 3:57 am Fiamma Bella There it was.... a tug. She felt it throughout the night, a strange sensation for one such as she. only her connection to Kiante, the Lady of the Lake had ever pulled her in such a way. That was a long time ago by her reckoning. The great golden dragon lifted her head to peer outside the cave she enjoyed when she was in this form. Her sparkling vibrant chocolate eyes squinted in the bright sun. Beyond the cave, a land beautiful beyond imagination, Camelot. Fiamma Bella had watched over it for some time in Kiantes absense. From her cave and sometimes from the sky she watched over the people who had become somewhat used to having no real leader. They went on about their days, working thier jobs, eating thier dinners, getting back to the roots of them. Perhaps one day, leadership would emerge to pool the resources of this beautiful kingdom and keep it safe. Fia could only hope.
This was a fine morning for one of her famous outings. The people always looked to the sky when she flew by, the familiar beat of her wings and the roar in her belly did not scare them, but rather comforted them. With a single leap she began to fly wings pumping in time to the music only she could hear. She missed her mate on mornings like this, when the air smelled sweetest and the sun shone brightest. he was still grieving she supposed. Having never lost the connection to Kiante, she could never understand the loss he faced when Kalyssien was murdered. When Drak went away to grieve, she let him, known Up and up she went before twirling and diving back down then an extension of her wings and WHHOOSH she began flying straight again. Fiamma flew throughout the lands enjoying the summer day, but still the tug remained, ever pulling her from her revere. She frowned.
There was nothing left to do but follow the impulse, let it guide her. Instead of continuing on her path she flew every morning, she made a wide circle and flew in the opposite direction. As she ascended to a higher atmosphere, she felt the tug grow more acute. Fiamma knew she was doing the right thing. Her heart became to beat wildly as she made her way further and further from the center of Camelot. She was close and she knew it. Fia slowed down and landed some 200 yards away from the shores of Camelot that bordered the gates of Avalon. Ah how well she knew these lands too. Many times she had met Kiante at the shores or even flew through the mists to the lovely Isle. As she landed with a bright golden flash of light, a woman appeared. Dressed in a deep gold, the skirts flowing around her ankles. Her blonde curls cascading softly down her back. Here was where she was to wait. For what she did not know, but she approached the banks of the shore and waited.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: Sat Jun 09, 2007 1:06 pm Odin's Bard The ancient powers of Fae and God Looked down upon the mortal man They saw that man had lost his way From honour truth and glory As such a place was made afar From grief and pain and lies So that the old ways of courage and truth Would have a place to fly...
Between the worlds Of man and fae A realm was born of truth Where all who came were honour bound And magic reigned in sooth
But man is man and as man does He falls along the way The dreams of gods, of truth and hope Were Simply blown away.
Camelot, a gift from gods and fae alike to man, the bastion of the elder ways, of ancient Gods and fae alike, given into the hands of an ancient family to hold in trust, to guard and protect so that the old ways would forever have a home rooted in trust, honour and truth.
Sadly... Those given rulership, fell astray from the ideals, angels, the enemies of the old, distrust, infidelity and lies grew in the bosom of the gilded walls until finally death strode in and with a single kiss, ended the life of the last true king. For a short time, Oberon, King of the Fae and Luthor, former king whom had slept awaiting the need held sway, but even they could not stop the entwining tides of destiny that had planted the tiny seeds of corruption that grew and slowly broke the dream held within the pearlescent walls.
Seeing how this could not be allowed to continue festering, knowing that there were those who held true, the Gods and fae met to find a solution and one was found... Camelot, would sink beneath the tears of the fae, to be swallowed under the blessed waters of Avalon, maybe those same waters would recede one day, allowing a cleansed Camelot to arise again in all its beauty but for now... a home was to be found for those who held true.
Odin, father of them all looked over the world and with an ancient bony finger pointed to a place sitting twixt the world of men and the world in which the gods were existing... "There" he spoke, "There shall be the bastion of eld, there shall belief remian and loyalty be rewarded", these would be his last words and with a hard stare he made it so.
Any whom were true of heart would feel the pull, the commons would simply wake up in their new home, those of strength would find the urge to wander, but it would be forced for the tears of the fae would begin falling immediately. Many would simply find themselves there, the power of the Gods transporting them. Avalon, the blessed place would be moved in entirety to rest off the Isles of Odin, in time Camelot would become but a memory and with hope, a memory filled with honour... a memory that would inspire the bards to speak of the elder Gods and remind man that before they assumed only one god existed, there were many others. Excerpt from the Bard Johann dated approximately 1347AD *************************** Posted: Sat Jun 09, 2007 2:26 pm Draken Gleaming in the light the ancient dragon flew far above the land, his only wish to anneal the finality of the loss of his bond... Fiamma, ahhh beloved Fiammabella had been a tower of strength in the blackest time he had ever imagined, the loss of his master through the treachery of his own frail heart had been a blow, yet even in the fall from grace to the worst of nightmares, he had still found a way to release Drak from the burden that so normally followed the death of a bond mate, the death of himself. Of such things the stuff of legends was born and Word had passed of the sacred gift Kalyssien had given. For all his faults, dragon kind would always hold his name in pride and honour.
Emerald scales, flexing with each muscular thrust of wings, a cloud forming on the horizon bearing the touch of something extraordinary, the touch of the unearthly song of the fae, yet something more and Drak swept his mighty wings to turn and fly towards it to investigate. In his heart of hearts still a defender of the land his master loved. Fiamma had flown to Avalon and Drak was flying to celebrate life itself, something he had not done since before doom was touched by deaths cold embrace.
In his mind alarm bells ringing, yet Drak foresook his duty not, courage and honour the two keys to his life and shirking a duty simply due to uncertainty not in his nature. A turbulence, unnatural in its intensity striking like hammer blows and Drak having to fight to stay aloft, blasts of icy wind hitting his scaly hide with force enough to tear flesh, but Drak was nothing ordinary hence no damage upon him. Continuing to fly into the storm, seeking the cause of this insanity his mistake, for any other would have fled but upon his form the Gods watched judging the mass of his heart and finding it pure.
A numbness swooping, Drak suddenly finding his ability to fly gone form memory temporarily, falling from the sky like a stone, the massive beast to numb to even panic as from far below the ground rushing up to meet him, closer and closer, the thought that if he hit at this speed he would die, but fate and the fickle hands of the immortals had another fate for Drak and to his amazement as the ground loomed closer it vanished in a twisting maelstrom of vibrant colour. The ground having vanished and Drak's numb mind wondering who had created a portal then nothingness.
Awakening to a thud, the impact of his body on earth yet without the violent expectations he had on falling, eyes opeing the size of dinner plates, looking a round, the land clean and fresh, wondering where he was for this was not Camelot, the beloved of his master... former master. A voice in his head... "This be the Isle of Odin, thy kind, the children of Camelot, all of pure heart may come. Thus the Gods of eld command. Guard well this land son of dragon kin. Let not the malice or corruption that be-spoiled the fae's gift fall upon these land" and then the voice was gone. Shaking his head, the psychic thought 'Fiamma' reaching forth for Drak had no idea where he was, but knew that somehow the Fae and the Elder Gods had a hand in this and something new was about to begin... *************************** Llewel Posted: Sun Jun 24, 2007 12:16 am Llewel gazed thru the fog and felt a presence. Someone familiar... but just as her mind reached out to see who or what it was, a feeling of dizziness enveloped her. Going to her knees in the boat with a small gasp of surprise, she tried to draw her sword. The heaviness makes it awkward and the hum of both swords seems to have stopped, but she doesn't notice.
Looking towards the boatman, she notices he is gone. The boat, adrift in the Avalon fog seems to come to a halt and the silence sets in. * Where are the birds? Where is the lap of water on the hull? * She manages to pull the sword free as panic sets in.
As her vision swims and begins to dilate to a pinpoint of light before she blacks out, her final thoughts are of her family and Kings. * Perhaps this is my final punishment... to be lost in the fog of Avalon, whom I let down, forever. *
Her eyes close and she falls to the deck clutching her own blessed blade in one hand, the other, still strapped to her hip.
***
As the fog thickens then disperses, Llewel is left unconscious laying on a beach in a foreign place. Odin has called her home and she has come without struggle.
As the light of dawn approaches, she lays there on the sand sleeping peacefully, unable to wake, unwilling to let her mind grasp that this isn't the end.
Llewel Protector **************************** Fiamma Posted: Sun Jul 08, 2007 5:01 am Fiamma didnt know what to think. All she knew was that she was called to these shores. However, as she stood there waiting her eyes began to slowly droop. IT was unlike her to feel so tired, especially since she had just woken up from a good nights sleep. But there she was feeling as though she had not slept in days. Her body grew week as it fell into slumber. First her knees buckled, making her fall gently to the soft ground. Then the rest of her body fell bit by bit to the spell until she finally lay peacefully sleeping on hte shores to Avalon.
Where she was to wake, she did not know. Fiamma Bella was not scared though. She somehow knew that she was safe.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fiamma Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 5:08 pm An age had come and gone with each king that presided over Camelot. Its people felt tainted from mistrust and abuse the kings had put upon them. Everywhere the name of Camelot stood besmirched, its people left carelessly tossed aside in the struggles of leadership. Though its leaders met with tragedy or brought about tragedy, Camelot persevered as something new. There was no name for it. Avalons priests and priestesses came around often, helping those in need and cleansing the land of the negative energy. IT took many years and many trained Avalonians to bring this about, but it was the Lady of the Lakes wish that the people of the land not suffer any more than they had already.
Fiamma watched over the proceedings like a extended hand of the Lady of the Lake. That was why she made her morning flights. As she slept, she dreamed that soon there would be no need for the cleaning process.
It was during this dream that she awoke looking upon a bright sand that was not like the sand upon Camelots shores. She blinked, confused. Where was she? She wondered. It was then, in her half woken state that she heard Draks call to her. Fiamma closed her eyes tightly to the pain, believing that she was simply imagining it. She wished everyday to see him. But he was somewhere far away, looking to find himself after being set free by Kalyssien just before he died. At no time in Draconian history had FiammaBella ever heard of a Companion living after their human counterpart died. Yet by some miracle, he had.
Long had she wished to feel her mate once more, his breath upon her skin, scales, or fur. Long had she only the company of her memories and dreams to feel like he was near. With each passing day with no word from him, her hope that he would return would dwindle more and more. She sighed softly and struggled to regain control of her emotions. Imagining him here now would only serve to confuse her more. Fia lifted her head and then her upper body to sit up on the shores of a beach she had never seen before, with vegetation that was foreign to her. She needed her wits about her. Though she felt safe here, she was full of questions. *************************** Draken Posted: Thu Aug 16, 2007 8:08 am The richness of the air, the faint taste of new beginnings, the wonder of what had transpired, all were lost amidst teh sudden realisation that... she was here. Arising to his fullest height, a bellow of flame shooting into the air with the sound of a steam train roaring through a tunnel, his consciousness narrowing to one thought only. Leaping upwards, mighty wings sweeping, catching the air, rising swiftly to survey all surrounding him, body climbing, clambering for purchase in the atmosphere... Another bellow of flame, the trumpeting of his presence for all to hear, for Drak desired to announce himself in no uncertain fashion, and desired more then anything that one alone would hear his call.
The shoreline... the sudden thought hitting with the force of lightening and he turned flying towards the sun, the light gleaming off his emerald green hide, eyes searching, nostrils billowing smoke and breathing deeply for he could scent her... climbing ever higher, from the ground no more tehn a dot visible then seeing the golden flash of sunlights sweet reflection, whatever had transpired before... he now understood the gift Kalyssien had given him in the release of the bonding and without sorrow he could finally make that acknowledgement... bbut more importantly... far below waited someone whom he had missed, someone whom he had left behind until he was worthy of ehr affection and now at last he felt whole enough to stand before her heart open and return to her life... whole, cleansed and ready for the next stage ni their lives.
Draks majestic wings pushing him ever faster, swooping downwards, wings pushing the air in incredible volumes, his body falling out of the sky, getting ever closer to teh earth for unless he was dreaming he knew teh mind of she that was on those golden sands... Diving from such height with joy bursting from twixt his scales, falling towards his destiny, mindful that he may yet require forgiveness for his departure and absence, yet still even that could not quench the depth of rich emotion bursting within his soul. Now he could clearly see her outline... the scales so rich in gleaming colour, and his passion required answer, maw opening revealing the glint of shining fang.
An inhalation deep to fill his flame bladder then issuing forth a gout of flame like a beacon, so potent it would seem brighter then the sun itself... Still his body fell towards where she stood, until only hundrds of feet above the ground he spread his wings and lowered the rear of his body to slow the incredulous rate of descent... Grappling with the air, forcing his speed to die away, massively muscled form working to tear away his rate of descent until finally with barely a thunp he landed before her... only one thought would emerge as he gazed forthwith into the shining disks of her eyes... "Fiamma Bella" *************************** Llewel Posted: Mon Aug 27, 2007 4:20 am Llewel felt the sand beneath her cheek and sighed. A wave must have forced them ashore violently to have landed this way. As she began to think of the boat she thought of the man with her. Lifting her head she slowly pressed the wet ebony and silver tresses from her eyes and looked around. Sitting up she frowned. Where was he? Where was the boat?
She frowned and double checked she had both blades on her. It was a pointless motion as she felt them both in her mind and on her body, but it was a natural reaction. She rose up on her knees and brushed off her tunic. As she gathered her legs beneath her and rocked back on her heels to rise, she toppled over onto hands and knees.
Cursing herself as her vision swam, she looked up along the shoreline. "Too much motion too quickly, Llew... you know better..." She chided herself once more and this time rose more slowly.
She was taking her time heading up the beach she reached out to see if she could sense anyone else nearby. It would perhaps give her a diffinitive direction. She reached up with her hands to grasp the knot of hair and twist it to form a loose but stable knot to free her vision, and glanced behind. Noticing only one set of prints on the sand, she turned forward and reached once more.
This time, her inner dragon felt something slightly familiar. The touch was warm, as if comforting from a past memory, but she couldn't place the feeling ((Fiamma)). She picked up the pace a bit and was about to call mentally to the touch when a bellow from the clouds and the thump of leather beating wings filled her ears.
Squatting down and setting her hand on her blade, Fali'Sara, she watched as a huge dragon dove from the sky towards the near horizon line. Realizing the horizon was actually a slightly raised sand dune between her and whatever was transpiring, she rose and swiftly jogged towards the dune hoping to see what the commotion was about.
Stepping to the top and looking down the beach about 100 yards, she noticed first the golden body of a majestic dragon. One she could remember seeing only one other time in all her life.... in Camelot. The name eluded her, but the glimpse of such a rare colored beaast was not soon forgotten.
The other dragon, the one who had come swooping down from the sky, was standing over her. She felt 'something' between them, but since she was not overly familiar with either one, she only knew something was there.
As the larger dragon leaned down, panic gripped Llewel. Unthinking, she began rushing down the opposite side of the dune and charging straight for the pair. If the golden creature was in danger and she didn't help... she couldn't think that. She WOULDN'T lose another...
"STAND DOWN AND BACK OFF HER!" She bellowed with mind and voice as her own white wings sprouted from her back. The pain twisted her face and drew her breath out in a ragged cry of rage and pain. Something was odd about the 'touch' she felt from the other dragon, but the golden one was definitely a friend from her past. One she suddenly had a feeling she had to protect.

Llewel Protector ------- Quote:
I apologize, Rance left due to conflict of this character (Rance) on another board. In defense, I have saved the old archives if anyone wants looksee, but this covers the gap.
Llewel thinks Drak divebombed Fiamma to hurt her. Her own dragon wings are emerging in her fear and worry for Fiamma though she only remembers Fi from a single glance back in Camelot long ago. Disorientation and fear have made her overly protective, but if either touches her mind, they will not find malice, but fear and worry of losing someone else she knows.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alexander Posted: Thu Sep 06, 2007 4:47 am Storm silently entered a massive stone chamber. In the chamber there were council seats of a massive draconic council. The council was currently in session and he had been summoned to appear. One of the lesser dragon lords was rambling on about human draconic relations in the south lands. Something to the effect that the humans were in a state of war and a young wyvern had been snuffed out. Storm sighed, if this was about a bunch of human hordes again he would walk out right now. The elder dragon had seen Storm enter and tapped his claw silencing all the debates. The Elder began to speak, "Dragonslayer, you have been summoned for we have a matter that warrants your attention." Storm listened silently as he walked forward and stood before the elder dragon lord of the council. "As you are well aware Dragonslayer we have draconic protectors in place in all lands protecting kings and royalty." "Sadly, one protector has failed to fulfill her assigned duties and three kings have perished due to her lack of experience." Storm nodded silently and spoke. "My Lord who be the accused that I have to bring before the council?" The Elder Dragon spoke once more. "Llewellynn Pendragon is the dragon that has shamed this council." "She must be brought to justice and if that is not an option she must be slain." "I know you will not fail me Dragonslayer Storm Saedaes of the Elven Draconic Knights."
"With this mission I bestow upon you the title of Dragon Warlord." The elder tapped his claw twice as an elder scribe brought forth a box encrested in draconic symbols. In the box was an amulet with a chaos gem and a gem of lightning side by side on the amulet. Storm looked to the Elder Lord and spoke. "My Lord your are to kind I shall wear it with honor for the elves and dragons alike." The scribe placed the amulet around Storm's neck. Magically the amulet glowed as it disappeared in a flash of light. Storm then noticed that each gem had chosen one of his arms and rested deeply within them. Storm wondered what this could mean. The elder saw his confusion and spoke once more. "Storm old friend the amulet in which you now have absorbed is old draconic magic. You now have in addition to your own Light Elf powers draconic lightning and draconic chaos powers." "They will aide you in your quest to apprehend the Rogue Pendragon." "As far as how to use them you will learn over time." "They are intertwined with your soul and the soul of your enchanted blade." "Now Draconic Warlord Dragonslayer, be gone and bring the rogue Pendragon to justice." Storm bowed and left the council chamber without a word.
Storm Saedaes silently walked out to a portal and walked thru it willing the portal take him to the Fortress of Saedaes. He walked out into the main foyer of the massive elven fortress. Storm had his orders as he walked by a servant. The servant addressed him, "Prince Storm shall I inform your sister you have returned?" Storm replied, "Do not tell her I have returned." "I have been given a quest from the Draconic Council and shall be gone for a couple of months." "Tell my sister I love her very much and shall return as soon as I can." The servant bowed and disappeared to deliver the news to his sister. Storm went to his room and stripped off his royal robes of the elven kingdom. He then donned a complete suit of mithril armor. The light material was so light and yet extremely strong. It fit him comfortably over his shorts and short t-shirt. Storm then went to his armor cabinet and opened it up and looked upon his suit of draconic armor. The armor was infused with the spirit of his draconic mount. For his old mount had give its life for the slayer in battle against an old draconic uprising. So now Storm wore the armor from the old mount with honor. Storm donned the silver draconic armor. Behind the armor on a pedestal resting in its sheathe was Dragonslayer itself. Storm lifted the ancient blade and strapped its scabbard to his side. Now with the armor completely on and his sword in place, Storm walked over to the mirror and braided his long blond hair. Storm noticed something odd. His natural blue eyes were now two different colors one red and glowing like chaos and one glowing brilliantly like lightning. Storm thought this odd but called to his inner elven powers as his eyes reverted to their natural blue color. Storm left his room and went to his meditation chamber.
Storm entered a round stone chamber that was completely silent. Storm sat in the center of the room and closed his eyes. He always hated this part. He silently called on the powers within as he started to glow. The deeper into the meditation he got his silver draconic armor started to glow. The he reached the final level of his meditations and his sword unsheathed itself and was glowing in mid air. The souls of the three became one as Storm's personality changed into a three way split personality. Sword: Ah awake again what has that lame fat ass dragon want us to do this time? Armor: How dare you address the dragon lord that way. Storm: Will you two ever shut the hell up about the dragon lord? The amulet storm wore forged the armor's soul to him completely as it fell silent. Sword: Its about time that dumb armor shut up. Storm: it is unwise to disobey me Dragonslayer for I am your master. The amulet then forged the soul of the blade to him as well and the three fully became one once more. Storm: I am now a Draconic Warlord in control of my other souls both of blade and armor. This is indeed an honor. Storm stood up now meditations complete as his sword now rested in his hand. He sheathed the blade and walked out of the chamber. Storm then noticed his armor had changed to golden draconic armor. The Draconic Warlord was now complete for the first time in 2 millenniums. He had been honored with the final piece of his armor.
Storm walked down the hallway to the southeast wing of the fortress. He climbed the stairs and came out to a flat landing there and looked at the afternoon sky. It was such a beautiful day there in Elvendar and yet he had a mission to do. Storm whistled shrilly. A sparkle appeared out of the eastern skies. Slowly, it grew in size and started to look like a dragon. Within mere minutes, a massive silver battle dragon was hovering in front of Storm. Storm spoke in draconic, "We have work to do, we have orders to hunt a rogue pendragon." "I know you know of there kind." "Seems a protector has decided to neglect its duties and three kings have died as a result." "I have her description and know what blade she wields." "This should not take long old friend." With that Storm left on to the back of his faithful steed. Storm sat there for a moment as his mind formed a telepathic link to the dragon's mind.(We need to go to the lake that leads to Avalon.) With that the dragon flapped its majestic silver wings hard and took off into the skies. They flew east high in the skies for what seemed to be mere minutes though it was really a couple of hours. Lord Silver Dragon and Storm mentally talked thru the link and got caught up from old times. It seemed there were a few uprisings in Lord Silver's realm but nothing major. The same with the elven kingdom of Elvendar a couple of drow uprisings but nothing the army couldn't handle.
Lord Silver started to descend to the banks of the lake that led to Avalon. He landed as Storm wondered why they did not fly over. Lord Silver explained to him via the link that it was not polite to enter Avalon by air. There would be a ferry in the evening that would be here in a hour to pick them up. That way they would arrive by morning and start their search. Storm dismounted off of Lord Silver Dragon and leaned against him silently awaiting the ferry. They both noticed a patch of fog roll in but thought nothing of it. The fog was almost blinding. Then the fog passed but something was very odd. Instead of a grassy field by the lake, they were standing on a beach of sand on the shore of what seemed a vast ocean. Storm blinked his eyes as the elven magik droped and his blue eyes reverted to one of chaos glowing red and one of blue glowing with lightning thru it. The gems of chaos and lightning now were infused in his golden draconic battle armor. Yet, it felt normal as if the armor was now part of him. Storm instantly mind linked to Lord Silver. (What matter of magic be this? Where are we?) Lord Silver replied (I know not my liege).
Storm walked up the sandy beach and heard someone shouting just over the next rising. Storm silently worked his way over the dune of sand and stopped in sheer disbelief. There in front of him was a woman with raven streaked hair running towards a dragon that was looking at a golden lady. She had a sword drawn and was yelling some sort of battle cry as she ran towards it. This was not going to be pretty. Lord Silver Dragon walked up to watch to seeing what Storm saw thru the mental link. Storm noticed his faithful friend and leaned against his scales watching the whole thing. Storm spoke in draconic to Silver. "This is sad my friend, that lady doesn't have a ghost of chance versus a dragon just with a mere sword." "This will be over in mere seconds, still I wonder if she knows how to use that thing." Storm and Lord Silver Dragon watched the screaming lady with the sword run at the dragon more out of boredom than anything else......

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rashia Posted: Fri Sep 07, 2007 5:07 am After weeks of searching the land for the famed Camelot and her knight's. Rashia comes up on a lake and sits leaning against a tree looking out over the water as a strange fog begins to form on the lake as Rashia drifts off to sleep with a prayer to the gods of old the one day his quest well be over and he will finely look upon Camelot.
Waking and feeling pain in all over his body as if he had sleep throw a winter storm. But there had been no such storm slowly looking around Rashia slowly began to realize this was not the shore he had fallen a sleep.Thinking to him self had the gods answer his silent prayer could this be the shores of Avalon.Slowly bringing him self up on to his knees pulling his sword free and bowing his head.
Thank you lords for i know there is a reason you have put me here I know not its purpose But I am here and well do what you would have me do I am your servant.
Hearing the words of his old master speaking the code of the knight to him.He began speaking them to him self.
A Knight is sworn to vealer. His word speaks only truth. His might up holds the weak.
Rashia's words drifted off as he herd a Woman yelling out as if she meant to scare something off. Getting to his feet and running towards the sound.coming up to see that there where two dragons the woman was not only yelling at but also running towards.Rashia stopped he was brave yes and had lived for hundreds of years been wounded and should have died hundreds of times but even he know not to try and fight a dragon much less two.For it was magic that keep him leaving even thow to him it was more a curse. He decided he would not join in on this madness looking around he noted he was not the only one that was siting this one out. **************************** Fiamma Posted: Sat Sep 08, 2007 3:49 am Fiamma Bella heard the roar again. She shook her head wanting to cry with the cruelty of such torment. She stood in frustration then looked up to see her love land right before her. Was it an illusion? Was it a ghost she saw? Had he returned to her finally? She was dwarfed being in human form by this dragon before her, yet she would recognize his eyes anywhere, in any form. IT was Drak, her beloved, standing before her, looking upon her. The tears fell as she tried to respond in some way. Should she yell at him for leaving her for so long without contact, or simply throw her arms around him and hold her tight? She wanted to do both.
Before her split mind could come to a decision she heard Llewelynn screaming at Drak in dragon form to leave her be. Fiamma Bella would have laughed had she the ability to put a coherant thought to her lips. How strange it must be to onlookers to see a Golden haired woman standing before a dragon without flinching. Sand fell from clinging to her skirts as the wind flowed around them. Her hair, golden blonde, long and flowing lifted in the air and gave her a magical aura.
She looked to llewelynn and smiled, bringing her hand to the womans shoulder. "Tis alright dearest one, it is Drak you see before you, my mate and my beloved. He will harm no one least of all me." Her voice was soft and melodic, a kind of voice anyone could fall asleep to. "You may put down your weapon child, for we are in a sacred place."
She looked once more to her mate still unsure how to approach him. "IT has been so long beloved. Come to me." She opened her arms to him. *************************** Rashia Posted: Tue Sep 11, 2007 3:55 pm With a smile Rashia sheathes this sword and walks down the sandy hill for after all he had to know what land he was in and hoped someone would be able to tell him . As he neared the dragons Rashia drops to one knee and bows.
My lords and Ladies I am Rashia Alixander Gallimour and i am at your service.
Standing up he turns to the dragon.
I laid down for a night of rest by a lake hoping to start my such a new in the morning for Camelot but wake here surely My lord you could tell me where am I. ************************** Draken Posted: Fri Sep 14, 2007 8:36 am So many changes, so many things to say... a trick of Drak’s mind giving his beloved the appearance most desirable to whatever form he assumed. Whilst in the coveted hallows of his mind he knew she stood before him in human form his eyes saw the delicate curves of sweeping gold scale, the bright glittering eyes the size of saucers, the claws so long, burnished and sharp, the tail sweeping back and the wings on which together they could fly in unending joy. Drinking in the sight of her, basking in the radiance of her presence so sorely missed, knowing there would be many questions, yet for now content simply to gaze upon her in awe and reverence.
A shout, massive head turning to look at a figure running towards him sword drawn. Llewellynn? the question half forming in his mind... Then Fiamma speaking and all thought faded before he could send Llewellynn anything to identify himself. Another man there, bowing and saying something but already diverted, he would get to him once he had done this most important thing. His massive form rose on its haunches, muzzle pointing to the heavens and bellowed flame, his form shimmering, changing, scales fading as around his body light gleamed, brighter and brighter, the gleam of a thousand suns. In the midst of his change, the perception of another dragon nearby, but be it friend or foe, he knew not for his focus was locked now on the shape shift and until it was done and he had greeted his love, that would have to wait. A sound, below the level of hearing, rising in pitch and volume, a cacophonous crescendo, until his form was completely engulfed in the blinding light then...
In his excitement, he had forgotten one thing, a little thing in fact, well maybe not so little, but a thing all the same. He was so excited to see his beloved that he completely forgot to change into the right form. Instead of a strong handsome man, a bedraggled Irish wolf hound, massively muscled to be damn near deformed, appearance of being run over by a teamsters wagon in a mudslide, tail wagging so hard that his entire back end shuddered, almost bouncing like an over excited fox terrier on steroid, then in the height of his excitement, bounding forwards, leaping so that if contact was made his front paws would hit Fiamma's shoulders knocking her backwards and massive lolling tongue, dripping with slobber would strive to lick every inch of Fiamma's face. Perhaps sadly, some things had never changed about Drak, and his natural exuberance was one of them. **************************** Llewel Posted: Sat Sep 15, 2007 3:34 am Llewel listened as Fiamma spoke. *Drak? Surely not....* All she could think about when thinking of Drak was a huge nearly horse size english hound trapsing after Kalyssien long ago. A small sob choked her throat as she remembered Kaly. Part of her hated him for dieing on her, part of him ached to see him again. She let a single moment pass wondering where the 'ever faithful' Drak had been when the King had been slain? Shaking her head, the thought so brief, none would know it.
As the dragon reared up to bellow, her own dragon answered but it came out a cry of battle to match his as her arms flung wide, the wings on her back spreading their full length to shadow those nearby a briefest moment.
As the dragon shifted, she was aware of the man beside her. *The Oaths... no one knew The Oaths anymore... did they?* She listened as he spoke of wishing to see Camelot in her glory. Her reply was bitter as her arms and wings drooped. The bitterness in her voice diguising her pain. "Camelot lives no more. The Goddess swallowed her whole and the Great Hunter roams elsewhere." She closed her eyes as the momentary choke threatened to engulf her to tears.
Suddenly a huge dog manifested itself from the headturning blinding light and bounded at Fiamma. As it began to lick her profusely, Llewel laughed, relaxing. It was Drak she remembered. And also remembered enough to be glad not to be on that end of the welcome. *How many forms did he have?*
As her body relaxed from the excitement, she found herself near doubled over as a small cry escaped her lips and her wings folded back into her. Her skin glowing slightly with a dragon rune, wrapped on her torso and lower right arm. As the glow and the visible portion of the rune on her lower right arm faded, she gasped for breath from the pain. It had been so long, she had forgotten. Hands on her knees to keep her balance she addressed the Fiamma. "Forgive me, Mlady. I fear it has been so long I did not recognize you. And you, dear Drak... well met once more. It has been too long." She could not call him 'old friend' for she did not believe, having let Kaly die, she had that right anymore. Still doubled over with a flushed face, she spoke to the Knight at her side. "There is always need for valor, but of the Round Table, it exists no longer."
She closed her eyes and tried to cease the quivering shake of her body as she recovered. One hand still clasping the sword she owned, another sword still dangling from her hip.
Llewel Protector
note: Because of her having come from the same hill the others are on, they are to her back and not yet noticed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Storm Saedaes Posted: Mon Sep 17, 2007 7:43 pm Storm stood there leaning against Lord Silver Dragon watching everything unfold. He saw another man rush toward the gold lady and the other dragon and address him as Lord. To Storm this was not odd as most dragons were lords and ladies. The he saw the dragon shoot flames into the air and transform into a dog of all things. The dog then proceeded to lick the golden lady. The Lady earlier had called the dragon now hound her love. The other woman that had been charging the dragon now hound had stopped. Storm spoke in draconic to Lord Silver, "this is truly odd, most people would choose homid form instead of that of a dog." "And that lady with the sword is truly odd as well, she seems bewildered and relieved as well." "I guess we will have to go and greet them to find out if they know anything about the lost protector."
Storm was silent as Lord silver dragon transformed from the massive silver battle dragon to homid form. Lord Silver emerged as a man in radiant silver armor with a silver cloak and silvery eyes. This was no surprise to Lord Storm as he had seen Lord Silver in homid form many times. They then started over the hill as they heard the lady with the sword speak...."Camelot lives no more." Lord Storm stopped silently hearing this. He thought it odd that an entire kingdom could be wiped out without the draconic council in Elvendar knowing about its destruction. He looked at Lord Silver as Silver just mirrored his thoughts. Silently, the two approached the man and women and the hound.
Lord Storm and Lord Silver both bowed to the people. "Lords and Ladies I could have just sworn you said that Camelot was no more." Lord Storm looks at Llewellynn as he speaks. "What happened to the King and his people?" "What happened to the kingdom, was there a massive war?" Lord Storm looks and notices the sword the lady is carrying and it clicks in his mind that the sword belongs to the protector he seeks. "What of the protector of the king, did he/she perish as well?" Storm looks to Lord Silver and then looks back to the lady holding the sword as he knew Silver would know of what he referred. Silver was on the move as Storm put his hand on his shoulder stopping him. Lord Silver would know that this was not the time to act. Lord Silver had only taken one step so his actions would not be noticed at all.
Storm spoke again, "I am Storm Saedaes and this is my companion Lord Silver Dragon." "We have traveled from Elvendar here to Avalon seeking the kingdom of Camelot." "We are on a quest to seek out the king and find out what has transpired there." "Yet you say the kingdom has been destroyed?" "Can you give us an accounting of the events that led up to the destruction of that once proud kingdom?" "Also, can you tell us what happened to the king and his protector." "It would be of great help so that we can document the events that occurred and inform the council of elders." Storm stood there silently with a look of pure, sincere concern on his face....His hand resting comfortably on his sword hilt as he awaited an answer...... *************************** Rashia Posted: Wed Sep 26, 2007 5:17 am Watching as the once dragon now dog pounces on the woman just after hearing that Camelot is no more. Rashia looks down.
How could this be why would the gods destroy the great kingdom. But you are right my lady there is always need for valor.
Turning his head to see the two knights walking up to join in on the little gathering.
It is good to know that im not the only one at a lose at the news of the destruction. **************************** Llewel Posted: Sat Sep 29, 2007 6:30 am Llewel almost whirled on the man as he spoke behind her. Shifting her position and resheathing her sword slowly she listed as he spoke of the fall and asked what had happened to the King and Protector. The pain from the reabsorption of her wings was still evident on her face and the tattered back of her tunic flapped lightly against her now smooth skin.
She glanced over to see Fiamma laughing as the sand broke her fall and Drak licked her face before shifting slowly, almost like a dream, into human form. She tilted her head curiously, having never seen him as anything other than a large dog most times and a dragon once prior to this time. She made a mental note to place herself at his mercy for the loss of his soul friend, King Kalyssien.
She turned back to the others and sighed. "Camelot is dead. It went out with no big war, no large bang, no great fanfaire. It went out on the night of the Solstice Ball many years ago. The death of the King, Kalyssien, second king after Arthur, at the stroke of the moon overshadowed that of the unveiling of the Ice Queen. Blood ran that night, red as pitch, deep as ebony. Spilled on the snow as soul bonds shattered and cries of anguish outrang the cheers of toasts and clatter of crystalline and metallic goblets." Her eyes would grow empty as she spoke, her body almost ethereal as she remembered, the pain, anguish, loss and the ripping of her own Protector's bond once more relived as it tore thru her in the memories. Her voice dropped as she slowly looked from the Knight to the Lord. "The Kings of Excalibur no longer wield the steel, The Lady sleeps in Avalon and the Protector... well... the Protector..."
She couldn't say it. She couldn't say the Protector was dead. It was a lie. She stood there sure as life, breathing, walking, still even wielding the sword bound to her so very long ago. She still couldn't figure out why it had not betrayed her and left as the Sword of Kings had twice done before Kalyssien and then vanishing. Perhaps it was dead. Perhaps there was no reason for it to go elsewhere. She hadn't tested it in real battle in more than 5 decades. She feared it was nothing more than steel and couldn't bring herself to let go of that final stone in her biern that would mean her death as a Protector.
She looked from one to the other, letting her eyes settle on Drak last. Her eyes welled slightly as her lips managed what her voice failed. "Forgive me." She bit her lip and swiftly turned without another word and headed away from the water, away from them and away from the valor, honor and duty that had betrayed her thrice before. Reliving it again would kill her. She didn't know if she could take that. So she ran... at a steady but brisk pace, inland. She didn't know where, she only knew she couldn't stay.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Draken Posted: Sat Sep 29, 2007 11:58 pm The moment of reunion, sought across such vast distance, shattered by the outpouring of emotion flowing from Llewellynn, the ancient and bedraggled wolf hound giving a final warm glance in the eyes of she whom was his heart before rising to stand and look upon Llewellynn and these strangers a glow surrounding him, forming from deep within the soulful eyes, subtle gold tinged with violence for he to had lost more then any could comprehend with the death of his master.
The glow brightening, becoming more virulent, a sound, subterranean filling the sky, brighter and brighter until his form could no longer be seen... then silence. The bright façade fading, to reveal a slender yet ominous looking man, the grandeur of passion and suppressed rage dancing on his visage for mere seconds before calming himself to the appearance of urbanity. Nodding to Llewellynn's tale until the end then as she turned away speaking, his minds voice mingling with that of the spoken word giving a choir effect as the words rumbled off his tongue.
"Strictly speaking Camelot be not dead, merely sleeping, for whilever one still breathes whom comprehends honour then slowly her heart still beats. Kalyssien" at this he paused and waves of grief would wash out to hammer upon those present... "Kalyssien, the last anointed king, died, killed by one acting on the wishes of one unfit to bear the name Pendragon, for no honour exists in the blackened abyss she claims as a heart. A ball... a celebration was called, and in the midst of revelry, one stepped forth whose given word held honour. She slew the king and in that action sewed the seeds leading to Camelot being subsumed beneath the waters of the Lake in hope of cleansing."
Again he glanced at Llewellynn's parting back. "Thee may think me mad for claiming Kalyssien's death was granted by honour, yet she whom took his life, stood true to her own value, that cannot be denied. Unlike the foul misbegotten pretender whom at one time claimed to love Pendragon, to love Camelot yet could not soil her own hands to bring its demise." Drak paused, allowing this to sink in, for the actions of Kalyssien's death could not have been prevented, and had any attempted to step in, then none would be here to tell the tale of his passing. "If any are to be blamed, blame Merthynn, for by her poison, her filthy perversion did this come to pass. The Lady... Atra cut the head off Pendragon as one would slaughter a wild dog. While her actions defy all, the true serpent, the poisoner of Camelot was Kalyssien's own sister."
His words fading his mind reaching with compassion to enwrap Llewellynn, the words mentally sent for her ears alone... "Little sister... Kalyssien once told me, he thought thy skills wasted in serving to protect the king. Kings will always fail, be they beaten by age and time, or cut down by their own humanity. I knew my masters mind beyond any comprehension and can say he would think thee successful, not failing. His greatest desire was to see thee serve a master whom could not fail, the land herself, the people therein so that thy heart would not take blame for the failure of others. Protect these lands Llewellynn, protect the people therein, make that thy mission and know not the bitter taste of failure again." Golden eyes looking to study Rashia for a moment, pondering the man's presence, then a shrug for to define the reasons behind the actions of the gods whom had drawn him here was beyond reason... "welcome sir, may thy valour find a haven amidst our small group." **************************** Llewel Posted: Mon Oct 01, 2007 9:21 am Fiamma rose and let her hand brush Drak's as he spoke of what before their friend, Kalyssien. She was about to speak, to say that Llewel was the Protector, the last left of the sword holders from Avalon's graces, but the woman fled with tear struck heart and ran from the pain with hard long strides.
She looked to the two men in turn as she touched Drak's shoulder, hearing him speak. Nodding to confirm his words, she turned to stride after the woman. Llewel beat herself up everyday for nearly a century, and did it still at the rememberences, perhaps it was time she was told to stop.
Fiamma strode away silently and in the same general direction of Llewel. Drak would see to the others. Surely there were acoomidations SOMEPLACE, wherever they were, and perhaps on the morrow they would all speak together.
<<Glo Mod auto to remove inactive player from scene... Fiamma Bella may be recognized for the actions and/or words taken in this post, but need not be reffered too further after this in refference to participation... Should she return in the future, her whereabouts after this scene will be filled in.... thank you, Llewel, Glo Mod>>> *************************** Storm Posted: Mon Oct 01, 2007 5:59 pm Storm stood there and listened to the accounting that the lady gave about the fall of Camelot. He looked to Lord Silver as Silver had pulled out and enchanted scroll and quill. He nodded as Silver began recording the historical events as the lady told them. When the lady had finished Strom stood there thoughtfully. Then the Dragon Lord transformed from a hound to a man and continued the accounting of the fall of Lord Kalyssien. He also went on to tell of Atra and the sister of Lord Kalyssien who was truly responsible of his death. Storm nodded to Silver as Silver kept recording the events. Silver stopped recording when the Dragon Lord finished. Storm sat there thoughtfully wondering something. "So Merthynn was truly responsible for Kalyssien's death not the Protector as I was led to believe?"
Lord Storm fell silent shielding his thoughts to all save Lord Silver. Using mind speak Storm contacts Silver, (This plays an interesting twist from what the elder dragon reported to us. He was convinced that the Protector killed the king not the King's sister. For we did not know Atra was involved in this at all. I am sure the elders are hiding information from us Silver.) Lord Silver replied through the link,( Lord Storm your intuition serves you right. It seems we have been led into a fools errand. It would seem we were to be instruments to start a war with these dragons. Yet, we shall hold for now and see what the protector has to say once she decides to speak.) Lord Silver and Lord Storm sever the link.
Storm bows to Draken, "thank you my lord for the valuable information." "This will help us inform the draconic council of Elvendar of the status of Camelot." "Tis nice to know she merely sleeps and was not destroyed." "Though, now I need to search for Camelot itself and access the royal archives." "I also need to speak with the Protector once I can locate her." "Any idea where she might be?" "Perhaps that lady that just started walking away knows." With that said Lord Storm and Lord Silver started after Llewellynn. Lord Strom stopped and bowed to both Lord Draken and Lord Rashia. "Good day My'Lords and thank you again." Storm set off at rapid pace following the lady as Lord Silver was a good clip ahead of him.....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fiamma Posted: Wed Oct 03, 2007 5:17 am ((Sorry all, I had to go out of town with my boss and was not quite ready for the weird impact of my schedule. She and I have been working through getting some me time in with my workaholic attitude LOL. So from now on I will be doing a lot more. Thank you for your patience and again my apologies))
She laughed gently upon seeing her love change to the dog form in his enthusiasm. The unique thing about her and her kind was that they could change to any four forms, horse, dog, dragon, and humanoid. Her golden hair was as ethereal as his golden eyes. His shaggy ragged dog form was one she knew and loved well. In all forms she felt love and lust for her mate. Sometimes it was easier to deal with humans in one form as opposed to another. Dragon was always very intimidating, dog is very sweet and loving, horse is spirited, and human sometimes was necessary for the full comprehension of communication. She leaned down to scratch him behind the ears momentarily before he changed to human.
Llewellynns words caught her off guard. Fiamma had not had time to truly sit with the Protector to find out how she felt or how she had weathered the years. Truth be told Fiamma and Llewellynn had never really had the opportunity to be come true and close friends. It was not as if she didn't want to, but both of them had duties to attend to and each was vastly different from the other giving them no alike schedules to do so. Fiamma wanted much to be with her mate, but she saw too the pain in Llewellynn's eyes. She excused herself from the group, knowing that there was much more to be spoken about but finding herself too drawn to the protectors side. She broke out in a run, her experience in all forms giving her the ability to run fast without tripping on anything. "Llewellynn please wait, I beg you." FiammaBella caught up to the woman and took hold of her hand gently but firmly before slowing down. "You must listen Protector. Truth be told, there are things even the Protector cannot fix or prevent. Sometimes the Gods that govern us choose to do something we do not comprehend. This does not mean you failed. It means you were not meant to succeed. Fate draws us all in the weave and we all serve in various ways. Your time is not yet done. Your fate did not end with his. Your job did not end with Kalyssien. You still have a job to do. It is what you are meant to do."
She shook her head and threw her arms around the woman. "We all need you. In dwelling on the past and what should or should not have happened, you have lost your way. We need to help you find it because without you, all that Camelot stood for could be just a memory, not a reality. Camelot may be gone, but its principles, ethics, morals and code live on through you and those that remember what it means. Help us. Help the people." *************************** Llewel Posted: Fri Oct 05, 2007 4:31 am Llewel slowed down as she heard Fiamma coming. Even before the woman spoke, she knew what was coming. She heard the woman call her Protector, and closed her eyes a moment to compose herself. She remembered the Lady, Kaly's dear friend and friend to all those in Camelot. Though, like Drak, she was never close enough to call her friend to her face. Opening her eyes, she turned and faced Fi and nodded sighing. "I know it wasn't all my fault, Mlady. And I know I shouldn't be so hard on myself. But there are some things that are easy to rationalize, yet difficult to live." She shook her head. "I know there must be something more to my 'duties' since Fali'Sara hasn't abandoned me as Excalibur did to Arthur or Vladamere. But I also have a second sword with power that calls in a whipser and guides me. Till I know my path, I will not consider leaving."
She lightly embraced Fiamma and spoke softly. "I just need to find my own way. Please..." She took a couple steps back shaking her head. "Please, Mlady. I just need time. I thought this part of my life was over, but it seems about to begin again, or continue, or something." She sighed. "Just give me a couple days... Please..."
With those final words, she rested her hand on the sword at her hip, oddly comforted by the strange steel, and turned and walked further inland. She was unaware another had followed. She only knew that facing those from her past would not help her heal like she needed.
Once a respectable distance, she broke into a sprint instead of just a forced pace. She needed to get away from the memories, and running seemed one way. She knew she couldn't outrun the memories, but the fatigue would help her sleep... she hoped. *************************** Storm Posted: Fri Oct 05, 2007 6:53 am Storm caught up to Lord Silver and looked to Sliver as he had a thoughtful look on his face. Silver said nothing with a curious look on his face having heard the conversation between Fiamma and Llewellynn. He would investigate deeper even if Lord Storm didn't choose to. Lord Silver pointed forward as Lord Storm proceeded to run on closing the gap. Storm passed Fiamma saying nothing to the lady as he continued to follow Llewellynn. Storm raised a hand as Silver stopped instinctively, waiting for the next order. Storm advanced forward and crossed over the hill his hand on his hilt....Storm continued into a full run closing in on the sprinting lady he pursued. Proclaiming in a loud voice..."Protector Llewellynn Pendragon of Camelot, guardian of King Kalyssien where are you going?"
Storm approached hand firmly on his sword hilt. "I am Dragonslayer of Elvendar come to receive an accounting of your actions and the loss of your kings." "Explain yourself." Storm came to a halt waiting for an answer if he was to receive one. He stood there waiting for the Protector to answer. He then proceeded to speak on knowing she would answer in time.
"The Draconic Council demands answers and demands you answer for your crimes or I am instructed to take appropriate measures." Storm kept his hand on the hilt hoping it would not be necessary. Storm was willing to do whatever it took never underestimating his foe....."Please Lady Pendragon lets keep things pleasant." "After hearing the explanation of the dragon lord back there, I believe there are others not present that are at fault." "I am sure it was not entirely your fault, but I need a full accounting from all parties to make an official report to the elders." "Could you give me your accounting of the story and lead me to Camelot's archives so that I can retrieve the official records of the event?"
Storm fell silent once more hoping that no bloodshed would come from this..... *************************** Rashia Posted: Fri Oct 05, 2007 5:49 pm Watching as Lord Storm and Lord Silver walk away. Rashia turns to Draken.
My lord please tell me more of the Protector now that i know the kingdom is lost surly her people are not and we must be here for some unknown reason.
Turning to look in the direction to others had run off in.
With the king gone what of his people? And the sword of the king is Excalibur lost as well? Is all lost or are we to start over in a land none among us know? Forgive me my Lord is just i must know if the gods have put me here for some other reason other then to die a failure.
Falling to his knees and looking down to his hands.
Is there nothing that can wash this blood from me must i pay for all etirity for the sins of the a king long dead.
Looking back to Draken
For hundreds maybe thousands by now i have tried to wash my fathers sins from my hands I had hoped finding Camelot and serving her king and her people that maybe the gods would take this burden from me.
Rashias voice trails off as he thought about all that had happon in his life serving and helping hundreds upon hundreds in his past to end up here lost in an unknown land.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Llewel Posted: Sun Oct 07, 2007 8:38 pm She had thought the running behind her was Fiamma so she put on a bit more speed to her jog. They were both dragon in soul and the chances of her truly evading the Lady if she had her mind set on catching Llewel was slim.
Suddenly she heard the words that stopped her near dead in her tracks. If someone had been within five feet of her they would have plowed into her stone still form.
"Protector Llewellynn Pendragon of Camelot, guardian of King Kalyssien where are you going?" The man's voice was deep and rich and made her own dragon soul writhe. There was power in the voice as well. More than anyone outside of the Pendragon line she had ever felt.
Turning slowly to face him as he moved towards her, she listened to him speak. Her jaw tightened as she grit her teeth listening. She felt her hand slide to the second sword on her hip, Fali'Sara on her back humming softly as if trying to soothe her.
"I am Dragonslayer of Elvendar come to receive an accounting of your actions and the loss of your kings. The Draconic Council demands answers and demands you answer for your crimes or I am instructed to take appropriate measures." She watched his hand slide to the hilt of his sword and she squared her body to his knowing if it came to it, she would draw as well. "Please Lady Pendragon let's keep things pleasant. After hearing the explanation of the dragon lord back there, I believe there are others not present that are at fault. I am sure it was not entirely your fault, but I need a full accounting from all parties to make an official report to the elders." He finished as she almost laughed. "Could you give me your accounting of the story and lead me to Camelot's archives so that I can retrieve the official records of the event?"
She lost it then. Nearly doubling over with laughter that would sound on the borders of hysterics. Rising up from where she had braced her hands on her knees to laugh, she looked at him. There was mirth in her eyes, but rage as well. “HOW DARE YOU!!!” She glared at him and shook her head as her fists clenched. “You come to me NOW! A century after the loss of the King. A century of allowing me to beat myself up for my failures. You come to me NOW and demand an accounting or you will punish me? WHERE in the darkness of the Abyss were you a century ago?” She wasn't laughing anymore as she took as step towards him. Her voice dropping and though still full of rage, a touch of hopelessness was there as well. “I spent a generation wandering his realm wondering how I was left to live. Wondering why the Sword of the Protector had not abandoned me as Excalibur had the Kings. I wandered seeking a reason for life, a purpose to my being and now that I am here, in this unknown land, you come to see if I can account for my actions or you will punish me?”
She unfastened the belt and the sword on her back and dropped them to the grass to fall to her knees as she felt the tears sting her eyes. “You want to pass judgment, then do it. I failed three Kings. Arthur would not heed my council, Lord Vladamere's wife would not allow the bond, and Lord Kalyssien...” She choked as she closed her eyes, the pain in her chest a vivid reminder of how she had felt his death and nearly died from the snapping of the tentative link. Her voice nearly a whisper thru the tears, “... My Lord and King Kalyssien... who felt I was not meant to protect him, but protect the people. He sacrificed himself to save the rest of us.” She wept then as it all flowed out of her. Covering her face she seemed to think out loud forgetting there was still someone there.
“For a century I sought death and an end to the pain. And now that I have purpose again, another sword to find an owner for, NOW you come to slay me.” She looked up at him and then nodded to the swords. “Your Council knows nothing, or they lied to you. Had those events been my fault, Fali'Sara would have forsaken me. And the new sword would not have sought me out. I realize now that there is still work in me to be done.” Spreading her arms wide in helplessness once more, she stared him straight in the eyes. “There are no archives to prove I speak truth. There are only the lips of those who survived who can give accounting. If that is not enough, slay me now. But know this, deliverer of justice. Slay me and you slay the carrier of two Avalon Blessed Swords. If that is not enough 'accounting' for you, then perhaps you are not cut out to be my judge and jury.” She stayed on her knees as her mind reeled.
She had spent decades wishing someone would kill her and set her free for the losses at her own hands. But since receiving the second sword, it had begun to sink in that perhaps it HADN'T been her fault. It seemed almost comical and macabre at the same time that the ONLY person who had been able to convince her to continue living, was the one sent, FINALLY, to slay her. Silvery sea blue eyes gazed up at the man as her own dragon soul warmed to comfort her from within. *************************** Draken Posted: Thu Oct 11, 2007 10:56 am Drak basked momentarily in the warmth of his beloved, such a shame this moment would be short lived for Llewellynn made to run off, he watched for a moment figuring to give her time for he knew deep within she still held herself responsible for what had gone before and only action, no words could ever change that. Eyes of gold turning to study the man displaying honour and wisdom, head nodding as words softly spoken, "Rashia, there still be need for men of stout heart, we who remain of Camelot have been cast upon this shore. Valour, honour, strength and truth still matter. You shall have a place among us good Rashia, fear not for your skills shall indeed play a part in all our futures"
Harsh words erupting from he whom represented elven kind. One word in particular sent Drak towering towards rage and that word was dragon slayer, the rest now a matter of honour and knowing his masters mind better tehn any he now turned to face this arrogant being a snarl creasing his lips as he spat the words "Dragon slayer... how can ye be friend of Camelot and call thyself dragon slayer. My master... Kalyssien was of Dragon blood, I am of dragon blood as is my beloved. The one whom you falsely accuse of crimes when her only crime was to love her king and Camelot too well is of dragon blood yet you wield the title dragon slayer before us" at this Drak's voice raised to a shout, loud enough to shatter rock and the full nuance of draconian heritage flashed in his eyes... "YOU ARE THE ONE WHOM DESERVES TO FACE PUNISHMENT, DRAGONSLAYER."
Shaking himself, taking a moment to calm his nature Drak glared at this arrogant little man and again spoke, his voice filled with crackling flame "Draconic council, I am sorry but Kalyssien our former king acknowledged no such council on this world and I acknowledge no such entity. The only ones to whom Llewellynn and ourselves answer are the councils of the Lady of the Lake and Oberon, Lord of the Fae. Neither of whom have sent you, for it was their decision to submerge Camelot away and her every archive where none shall find her. As to my... distaste at you, your name or title or whatever it may be is an offense to all of dragon blood, you come from nowhere, you use a name that rankles to the point of enragement, you accuse Llewellynn of crimes when Kalyssien himself were he here would challenge you to death for such insinuation. Now... perhaps you would like to reconsider your approach...?" **************************** Fiamma Posted: Thu Oct 11, 2007 1:50 pm Llewellynn wished time alone, then who was Fia to deny it. Respectfully she bowed before the Protector and turned away to give the woman her space. However others were not so respectful of those wishes and Llewellynn was immediately bothered once more but by someone claiming a bunch of titles with a council she had never heard of. Being Draconic, one would think that FiammaBella and Drak would have heard of such an organization. Even if one did exist however, they would have no power to pass judgment upon those of Camelot. Only those who were involved in Camelot could pass judgment.
Fiamma approached her beloved and watched his temperament flair towards the man calling himself "dragon slayer". Her eyes moved to look upon the man as her arms slipped around the middle of her mate and her fingers gently begin to massage his back. "One does not have the right to Judge what one was never a part of. What gives your council the right to send you here on their behalf? What gives them the power to pass judgment on a country that is not theres and was never involved with them? What gives them the right to expect you to execute someone based on their limited information and obvious biased intelligence?"
Fiamma Bella closed her eyes for a moment and shook her head before turning the golden orbs back upon the slayer. "Is it customary for your council to kill on whims and half truths? Such things are the destroyers of places like Camelot and people such as yourself. What do you have to say to that?" ***************************** Llewel Posted: Fri Oct 12, 2007 9:40 pm GLO MOD NOTE:
Until such time as Drak and Kiante can readjust their posts, the words spoken (yelled) to Storm were done mentally towards him/Lord Silver.
For the sake of keeping the story rolling without awaiting the changes, please continue to RP as if the words were mental and not verbal as Lord Storm was out of range when adressed.
Thank you Llewel Glo Mod
<<<PS, to those unaware, the changing of the actions from verbal to mental were agreed upon and not arbitrarily posted here. Because of a missed cue, it was caught later, that Storm was out of berating range when he was adressed. This way (making it mental and not verbal) kept the posts from being completely rewritten.>>>

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Storm Posted: Sat Oct 13, 2007 2:24 am Storm stood there watching Llewellynn as all the chaos was going on about him. He mentally heard via his link from silver what the thoughts were of the other two beings. The anger and resentment in their voices made it dead clear he had worn out his welcome. Storm was used to this. He had walked into dens of 3 or 4 dragons just to kill one and have them all turn on him. Storm wasn't worried in the least, it was Silver that had Storm worried. He had that look in his eyes of battle rage. Storm knew if something wasn't done quickly this would turn ugly fast. Storm replied, knowing he could be heard by all, "It matters not if you have heard of the Draconic council of Elvendar." "It matters not that my Title as I am known across the lands is dragon slayer." "It matters not to me if I am disliked and hated." "However, I was given a job to do and I shall carry it out." "My assignment was not to kill unless absolutely necessary." "I round up and dispose of rogue dragons." "Ones that have turned evil and are a menace to elven and draconic society." "I wish no ill will towards any of you." "I see the power of the swords have not forsaken Llewellynn Pendragon." "My orders are for research and archiving of records." "However, I sense in my friend Lord Silver here foul intentions which disturb me greatly."
Storm looks over to Silver and frowns silently. "Calm yourself my friend, I do not foresee a fight here." "We will be fine so calm yourself down." "Yes I am well aware you have never approved of my official title either old friend." "Lord Khaeos Black will be highly disappointed that this mission of his will be thrown out." Lord Silver replied, "Are you quitting as the rogue dragon hunter?" Lord Storm replies, "Aye my friend and with that you are released to come and go as you please." "If you wish to return feel free and be with your family and your lands old friend." "It is your choice if you remain with me or not." Storm fell silent as Lord Silver sat there and considered his options. Storm felt his mental link to Silver fall silent. The the chaos gem in him sparkled on his armor and his link to the dragons was re-opened instantly. However, it felt strange and erratic but Storm said nothing. Silver looked to Storm and bowed in the old ways. Lord Silver spoke, "My friend it has been a honor to serve with you." "My place is with the council and my family which you will understand I am sure." Storm smiles to Silver and bows in the ancient ways with elven grace. "My friend it has been a honor and a privilege to serve with you and wish the council and your family well." "Tell Light and Lilianna if you see them I have chosen to remain here and try and build back some honor amongst the dragons."
Lord Silver nodded as a bright silver light encompassed him completely. Then he reappeared in the skies as a magnificent silver battle dragon with a 300 foot wingspan. Storm drew DragonSlayer and saluted his old friend as Lord silver flew off to the east knowing he probably would never see him again. Storm then sheathed his blade and looked to the problem at hand. He looked to Llewellynn..."I was not sent to kill you, Lord Silver was." "He will report back to Lord Black in Elvendar and then will probably return." "This is not the last we have seen of Lord Silver Dragon." "As I have heard from the other dragon Lord and Lady My name is offensive." "So from this moment on just call me Storm Saedaes." "I will let my other title go for it brings hate where ever I go." "Since your swords have chosen to remain with you I will as well if this is acceptable." "I will bear witness to the proceedings from this day forward and stand as defender of the Protector." "Will ye accept my blade in defense of your own?" Storm fell silent waiting...if he had to fight he would. Storm hoped it did not come to this. However, he stood there his emotions almost impossible to read. The strength in him never wavering, and watching waiting for a decision to be made..... *************************** Lilianna Saedaes Posted: Sun Oct 14, 2007 12:23 am Lilianna stood her hands clasped together, looking out of her window of the east tower at the fortress. Letting out a sigh she reached and clasped her head, her hand pulling at her long silver tresses. ~~Oh Storm where have you gone, she had gotten word he said he loved them and would return. But Lili had a feeling, her heart pounded and she worried. Turning she paced the room, gently biting on a nail, nibbling as was her habit when distressed. Seemingly talking to herself, stops and gives a look to the window again. Walking to the door , she calls... Glynnis .The servent enters and she already knows her mistress is up to something. Standing her hands behind her back she watches Lili. Please do not look at me like that Nissie, I need you to see that things are carried out for me. My work with the children, and the gardens must be kept up and you know those that can do it. Get Karo and Chelsie they are both good with the children. And do not let Karo give them sweets for bribes. As she talks she is packing her a small bag. Taking a step Glynnis , puts a hand to Lili's shoulder. You know you will get in trouble. You are following that strong willed Storm are you not? Yes I am, gives her a hard look as she tosses a pair of small boots in her bag. I know, I know the whole family fusses I put myself in danger many times, seeking out which ever sibbling is in trouble. Well I feel he may have let his honor over rule his mouth or head. You know him , and I can not help it he is family and I must see about him. I only wish my abilitys were as good as his or Lights. I am a healer and teacher.... I ..shakes her head. I do not know where he is but I will find him. I will......I am my own worst enemy.. I feel the call of family and I go. Usually blinded as to where I will end up or what I am getting myself into. The last time a love for a dragon almost killed me and his whole family. One I will not repeat. I know my heart rules my head, but I am going to stop being so tender hearted. Reaching she pulls the older lady to her and kisses both her cheeks, and then smiles.. care for the others in my absence. Now wish me god speed for im fixing to go. I love you Glennie. Smiling Lili turned to finish up with a few things needed for travel. *************************** Rashia Posted: Tue Oct 16, 2007 10:22 pm Rashia looked up at Drak, feeling lost and forsaken on the beach.
How can you have hope when we are here not even knowing where we are?
Slowly standing up to face Drak as the sun shone off his well worn and well kept armour. The wind blew his bleached blond, nearly white, hair in front of his green eyes as they began to shine with threatened tears.
What if there is no future for us we may all be doomed to die here in this unknown land. The gods may have forsaken us they have reclaimed Camelot, her King, and Excalibur is gone what is there left to serve?
Rashia looked at Drak wondering how one who had lost so much could have hope when there was only more pain and loss to come. **************************** Llewel Posted: Tue Oct 16, 2007 11:43 pm Llewel listened to Drak berate and attack the man who had come to pass judgment on her. Waiting till the two had finished speaking, she mentally sent to Drak unsure if Storm, Silver or Fiamma would hear. She honestly didn't care at this moment. The words shooting back towards him would be full of berating and upset, though not full anger. *Drak, dear friend to Kalyssien. This one comes to met out what he feels is right. Seeing I have not been forsaken by the Goddess or the soul I bear that draws him to me, he will not slay me. We may not have heard of the Council itself, but you cannot honestly say you knew not that there were enforcers outside the Pendragon Council, itself. We keep our own blood in check and balance, but what of those of draconic lineage NOT of the Pendragon line? Who watches over them? We cannot be naive enough to believe we are the only ones to bear such souls.*
To Fiamma's voice she spoke as well. “And he came in search of truth and archives. He said himself that obviously the Council was not in full knowledge of the facts, and he admits there are others than myself to blame. Fiamma, you loved Kalyssien as well, and I cannot imagine the pain you and Drak have suffered, only that it was as deep, though different than my own. Give him a chance to explain it all before we behead him and send him to the stars without his soul.*
She looked up at Storm as she lowered her arms. “I am sorry. We take care of our so long and so well it does not often occur to many of us that we are being watched as well. Or that there are others out there being watched.”
As Silver drew closer, Llewel sensed a malice from him even before Storm spoke. As he dismissed the silver Dragon Lord and it shifted and took to the skies, Llewel strapped Fali'Sara on her back and rose with the other sword in her grip, and replaced it on her hip. “You sent him away. You speak as if this moment was something you planned. Had you truly decided to forsake that which you have always done for me, or merely decided this was a good chance to make up for your past?”
As he spoke of being defender of the Protector and standing in vigilance and witness of her and her deeds, she smiled and nodded respectfully. “I need no defender, though if you wish to try and become my friend, I will welcome it.” She turned to the direction Drak remained and Fiamma had gone. There was more than herself he would have to prove himself to. There were others he would have to tread wearily around for quite some time before he was accepted. But she would see to it, to the best of her ability, he was not harmed for no true reason.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fiamma Posted: Fri Oct 26, 2007 4:58 pm Fiamma nodded mentally to Llewellynn and then turned her attention upon the man Rasha who had been speaking. He looked rather distraught with the news that Camelot was dead to the world, all its glory faded from years of mistrust and abuse. Sympathetically, she looked upon him and gave him a small reassuring smile.
"I shall try to answer thy questions gallant knight. When Kalyssien died, Uther rose to claim Excalibur. But when he departed, it returned to the realm from whence it came. And now it resides where it will once more rise up when needed and someone worthy to watch over it returnsMany had much dispair as Kalyssien was their beloved King. When the king died, it was yet another sign that the concepts of Camelot had been lost in the shuffling of king to king, starting with Arthurs betrayal. The lands surrounding Camelot are still here, though changed, evolved. The people learned sadly that they could not depend on a king. They have been living peacefully, trying to get their lives back together. It has been harder, fights break out on the borders with other countries, other kingdoms, but most of Camelots' old soldiers do border patrol of their own accord. And in return, the citizens of this land feed and house them as best they can. I have watched over this land since that day, leaving Kiante to grieve on her own in Avalon. When she feels the need to return she will. Until that day, I waited patiently for my beloved to return to watch over them with me but he too had the process of grief to go through and much more so than I could have felt for I did not bond with Kalyssien like my mate. I am bound to Kiante."
She placed her hand upon the mans' shoulder. "Do not trouble yourself. Your path is out there, within your reach, moreso than you might imagine. Just because you do not have a king to serve, does not mean you have noone to serve. THe people are here and need you just as much as perhaps, you need them."
Quote: NOTE: There is a rewrite to fix the inaccuracy of the fate of Excalibur. It went to Uther after Kaly and the Lady of the Lake never claimed it, nor did Kiante. It has disappeared and only the Fae know its present location. And Camelot has sunk beneath the waters, only those remembering it remain and live in outlying areas, thus CAMELOT is gone. ***************************** Lilianna Posted: Thu Nov 01, 2007 11:25 pm Lilianna went gathering a few things she might need in her search for Storm, carefully she wrapped a few crystals. Packing them amoung a few others charms, turning she made sure her box of cures and potions were safely cushioned. Checking she tightened the pack. Picking up pen and paper she started a few letters. Holding the pin , her fingers curled tight as she looked to the window deep in thought... ohh Stormy she whispered.. and her mind drifted. *************************** Llewel Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 11:06 pm <<<mod post for Silver>>>
Silver landed in the dragon caves in the cliffs above the castle. Shifting back to elven form, he headed down into the miriad of caverns and came out in the halls of the Keep.
His first destination was the Council chambers. But as he was passing the hall down which the higher elves had their chambers, he sensed Lili's concern. *The Council can wait a moment longer.*
He turned and headed down the hall. Knocking on her door, he called to her softly, though his voice betrayed enough concern she would sense it. "Lady Lilianna. It's Lord Silver, I come with news of Lord Storm." He stood and waited. If anyone could turn Storm's mind, it would be her. He would have to be careful though. The Council had plans and if she suspected....
He cleared his mind and awaited her response. The next hours would be crucial, and he would not be the one They came too if it failed.
Lord Silver Dragon of Lord Storm Punisher of Council *************************** Llewel Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 11:13 pm <<<mod post for Lord Storm>>>
Storm nodded and looked at her. "Mlady, with all due respect. Everyone needs someone at their back." He smiled. He was not going to let her be alone now. There was too much at stake.
Following her gaze, he glanced back over his shoulder in the direction he had come from. "The others will come to trust me in time. I am sure."
Looking back at her, he nodded and offered his arm. "Shall we go back and tell them amends have been made? On our end anyway?.... For now of course." He laughed and waited to see how she would react.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Llewel Posted: Wed Nov 07, 2007 11:19 pm Llewel had to laugh, so she did. Shaking her head she turned and stepped around Storm not taking his arm. Her hands rose to undo her hair, letting it fly free behind her like a silver streaked ebony banner that came to her hips. Her sapphire blue eyes watched the dune come closer that seperated her from the others. Speaking to Storm, guessing he would follow, she smiled. "I am not some timid fragile Lady prone to tripping on my satin slippers on the dunes, Mlord. I am a warrior and I think I am capable to walking back the way I came without aide."
Realizing how crass and stinging her words might be to him when he had just taken the leap of faith to believe her and renounce his hunter position, she paused and sighed. Speaking this time a bit kinder, she looked to him. "I am sorry... Thank you for the offer, but I think I can manage." She began walking once more. Her boots thudding softly on the grasslands then sinking into the sand with a soft whisper of sound as she topped the dune and headed towards Drak, Rashia and Fiamma.
Seeing Drak, she sighed and spoke softly towards his mind, not expecting him to hear her, though part of her wishing he would. *I don't know if I can do this, Lord Drak... I just don't know anymore...* She sighed as visions of the fallen kings, laying at her feet, filled her mind once more. She shook her head to remove the recurring nightmarish images from her mind and continued to walk towards the others. They all needed rest, food and drink. She wanted peace...
... but somehow doubted Drak could provide something like that anytime soon. *************************** Lilianna Posted: Thu Nov 08, 2007 12:18 am As the words left his lips the door opened. Lili stood looking at him her amber eyes, soft and troubled. ~Enter please, you have word of Storm. Glancing behind him she pulled the door closed and turned to lean against it. ~Please tell me he is has not gotten himself in too deep this time. I love my brother and he is headstrong and sometimes his plight is hindered by his over powering dimeanor. Her eyes seek out Silver's. Am I needed? I was all but ready to go see if I could help him, to find him . Walking swiftly to the desk she sealed a letter and slipped it under a rose stone . Moving she offered him the chair, and folded her hands as she waited. ~Excuse my manners will you have a seat and may I bring you refreshment ? Pushing her hair behind her ear, she told herself to remain calm and not jump ahead of herself. ~What can I do... just tell me. **************************** Rashia Posted: Fri Nov 09, 2007 10:58 pm *Rashia turned after hearing Fiamma response. He felt lighter knowing now all may not be lost as he had feared*
Then if Excalibur is only lost then it may one day return to clam a new king till that day i well do what i can to help those in need.
*Rashia begin to grow heavy so he started to remove it the chest plat of his armer was worn but still very strong and was made so it fit like a second skin after removing it a dragon mark on his left arm along with part of a cross on his back was reviling. As Rashia places the armor down on the ground he shuts his eyes and turns from the light of the sun shines off the armor. And begins to walk over the hill to meet Llewel not knowing she was on her way back to them. Why had she ran away from them if she where in pain maybe he could offer her some sort of aid.* *************************** Llewel Posted: Wed Dec 12, 2007 6:15 am Fiamma watched the knight remove the heavy armour and move away. He would have to find his path on his own. It was there... she was sure of it.
Turning to Drac, Fi sighed. "I must go. I cannot stay. The knowledge there are knights out there with no guidance is disturbing. I must go and see what can be done to bring others here."
She began to reach for him then abruptly turned and headed down the beach. Turning to a dragon once more, in a glow of bright golden light, she took to the skies and disappeared.

Fiamma is no longer with TDR and this was written to remove her from the story without it needing rewriting. Please continue without expecting her to respond or be available for future postings. Thank you... Llewel... GM

Lord Silver smiled as the look of worry crossed her features. This would be easier than her thought. He got a very serious look on his face and sat down as if the weight of the entire kingdom was on his shoulders.
"I am sorry to say, he is in trouble. He has forsakken his vow to serve justice for the council. I fear the one he was sent to kill has bespelled him. I would ask you to not say anything to anyone. I will go to the Council and give my report then come fetch you. We should go to him at once." He looked up as he finished and awaited her reaction. Would she believe him? Would he be able to do what he had to without resorting to harming her as well? Only time would tell.
Lord Silver ((with permission)) *************************** Llewel Posted: Wed Dec 12, 2007 6:31 am <<mod post with permission>>
Storm nodded as Llewel continued back the way they had originally come from. He hoped he would earn her trust soon, and that of the others as well. Something did not sit well with how easily Silver had left. The dragon was known for his temper and the fact he left made Storm realize he would be back. Perhaps he could convince Silver that merely killing because they were TOLD the ones they were sent after needed punishing was wrong.
As they topped the dune, he saw the other knight coming towards them. He took a couple longer strides and met the knight with a wide open smile. "Hello again. I hope you have come to tell me you have found a place we can get out of this heat, and armour, and get something to eat." He laughed and held a friendly arm towards the knight hoping he would understand the friendly gesture and not think it was something malicious.
Lord Storm ((with permission)) *************************** Lilianna Posted: Thu Dec 13, 2007 3:39 pm Lili let her gaze look over Silver, holding her tongue she sensed. All was not as he acted. Walking she started to put her hand to his shoulder but she stopped. Scared of what she might truely find, her inner insite could see things others could not. Looking at him.. is he harmed yet ? ~Storm has always jumped ahead of himself, but to be under a spell is normally not him. His powers of self are not easily duped. Her eyes lingered on Silver's almost daring him to tell her more. Turning she clasped her hands, thinking walking to and fro infront of her window. Turning she looked out and then back to him. ~I will await your return, please make haste and let us do what we must. Falling silent she listened, her heart running true . Her family was a main concern, but.. ... killing needlessly was something that she did not believe in and she knew Storm did not either. Some killed merely for the thrill and power. If Storm had not killed a target , something was up. Wether it was because the truth was they were innocent or... something.. rubbing her head she knew .. something was not right. But she would go to him and see for herself. Bowing down she called to the elders and prayed for wisdom and truth.. and help. Help to do the right thing and make her family safe. She whispered.. ~let me be a servent to all things good and defie those that are set to trap us. Turning her gaze to the doorway she stood and waited. *************************** Rashia Posted: Fri Dec 14, 2007 7:58 am Taking Lord Storm hand then placing his left hand there as well reviling the large tattoo of a black dragon that started at his wrist and ended on his shoulder.
Im afraid i have found no such place and really have yet to look for it im lost not really knowing where we are or why the Gods would put us here. It is truly a mystery to me. but maybe one of the others can help us find a place to get food and drink.
Releasing storm's hand Rashia moved past him and on the Llewel.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lilianna Posted: Thu Dec 27, 2007 7:18 pm While awaiting, she turned and quickly sat down to pin a letter. Carefully she wrote to her sister, using her words wisely. Something was up she could not yet grasp. Finishing it she walked to the door way and hailed a passing maid. ~Please see that this gets sent out at first light please. Turning she walked and sat at her desk, touching a small crystal hanging from her neck. Closing her eyes she calmly waited. *************************** Apocolyptic Prophecy (Ariana) Posted: Fri Jan 04, 2008 12:40 am Had Ariana been one of the faithful to Pendragon? No, not exactly, however her heart had always been in the right place, despite the mischief running wild through her blood. How did she wake up here? Ariana did not know, only that where she had lain her head, it was not the same place where she had awoken from a strange dream where shadows led her by the hand only to show her the kindness never received whilst in the mists of Pendragon and Avalon. They were unforgivable fools misguided by the acts of an even more guilty rulership under the lackadaisical ruling of the one named Myst of Pendragon. Usually Ariana was not one to hold grudges, but then when an entire kingdom rots because of the acts of just two persona’s, one cannot help that their blood boils over with a deep seated hatred.
Here she sat, eyes looking over her surroundings with a suspicious expression, it was the sidhe side of her that did not trust anything relayed before her eyes, maybe this one some act of rather brilliant illusionary magicks foreign to her knowledge; if that was at all possible? Her own magicks had been adapted from Merthynn Pendragon, having observed from a distance all the while not admiring, her method was flawed, leaving many instances for failure or backfire; perhaps that was why her luck seemed to dwindle like rain drops through fingers? Bah, Ariana didn’t care for the likes of those, perchance this new place was a chance to begin anew, start over without the taints pertaining to the likes of Pendragon, and the fools who hid beneath its crests. The truth had come out, they were not so virtuous after all… and just look how many beneath those draconian banners had been misguided?
Slowly Ariana stood up, brushing off the dirt and leaves from her crimson colored cloak guarding the leathers beneath, brown boots stained with the evidences of mud. Had she walked here herself while under the guidance of the Goddess? No answers manifested, and the more Ariana questioned herself, the more she became confused, frustrated at her ordeal. Where was she to go now? Where was even the nearest city or kingdom to seek shelter? Was this her punishment for being faithful even though in her heart she knew they were all nothing but lies? With a heavy heart Ariana walked on, hoping to find a kind soul to direct her on her path. *************************** Draken Posted: Sat Jan 05, 2008 5:52 am With the leaving of the one appearing to be Fiamma, a cloud lifted from the mind of Drak, his clarity of thought returning and he found himself momentarily at a loss. Opening his soul to reach across the vast distances between himself and Iffurn Saeghol, allowing himself to be cleansed from whatever confusion lay upon him by the potence of the mightiest of his race. A bow of the ancient hounds head in acknowledgement then a shimmering arising round his form, brighter and brighter, gleams of gold arising in vast power to force all to look away lest they find themselves blinded in the intensity. The sound of rolling thunder echoing across the landscape. The primordial effulgency of the dragonesque bellow blending within the sound of his shape change, reaching across the landscape and in its twisting symphony a tone emerging, similar to fingernails upon a chalkboard reaching, probing, then shattering the illusion of emptiness surrounding them. A last gift from Loki the trickster, after all he was never want to make things easy for any whom walked near mortal planes.
The utmost pinnacle of sound breaking, the glare dimming then striding forwards a man, tall, strong, his honour surrounding him like a cloak, eyes of gold fleckewd with emerald staring forwards from the regal mein of this man, Clothing of form fitting black, much as his master had chosen for attire, hair to the middle of his back, bound in a plait, of purest white, a closely trimmed beard highlighting the definition of his jaw, slender yet giving the impression of bulk, the dragon essence never hidden away and immensity swelled around him, even though to the naked eye, he was only a man.
In the shattering of the illusion, the lands emptiness vanished and before them rising up a low plateaux revealing a stately manor house, stone walls gleaming in newness, a large central villa surrounded by smaller buildings. Fruit trees and gardens all standing to await its guests. From deep within his chest, the stirring of air as across his lips a grin appeared, even though within his heart smiling was the last thing he felt like. Stirring echoes carrying on his voice as if he spoke in multitudes, yet he was alone... his voice softly spoken would carry to the ears of any in subtle power "It seems the gods have tricked us, for shelter stands before us with food awaiting. I doubt greatly there is any chance of servants, but find that concept appealing in itself. Llewellynn... methinks we should explore yonder Manor..." his eyes clouding for on the horizon storm clouds of dark sheen seemed to be gathering and heading in their direction.
"If that storm should gather we will have need of the shelter offered." His voice directing to all "Forgive me my earlier, intransience, there were distractions which must at some point be explored, but for now, I think we have other worries." A hand gesturing to the deep dark clouds. A he turned to move over to where Llewellyn stood, an echo, a memory shared with his closest bond tickled his senses and a face which his master held dear appeared before his eyes. She had vanished, but it seemed the gods had recognised her spirit and brought her here...
Closing his eyes, mind reaching out, knowing that she had it within her blood to sense his seeming. "I know you... you bear the untainted blood, you carry yourself in the manner my 'king' shared memory of. Come, there is shelter and food and methinks the storm coming be not natural and shelter will be required. Come and be welcome, for you carry the blood of ancient nobility milady and none shall do you harm nor make you feel unwelcome as your own blood has done before." With that he opened his eyes, allowing that Ariana had her own mind which was perhaps why those of weakened will found issue in dealing with her. Stepping to where the others had gathered, he pointed towards the manor again and took the first steps towards the buildings.
