alexandra_moroveston (8/30/2007 11:48:51 PM): Raven sighed as she alighted on the front steps of Tepes Keep. She hadn't been here in nearly a century and she felt a longing to go in stronger than being away from Serenade. Resting her lithe hand on the doorknob, she opened the huge wooden carved edifice and stepped into the front hall. Closing her eyes she whispered softly, "I am home....". It seemed an odd thing to say as she opened her eyes and glanced around. Walking from room to room she wondered who else would be around. Then she felt him... Adirian... She began to run up the spiralling staircase towwards the feeling she felt at the Master Suites of rooms. <e>
adirian_tepes (8/30/2007 11:57:21 PM): It had been years in succession since the eldritch Tzimisce had walked in the waking worlds. Here amongst his castle walls, he stayed protected from those clans that wished he and his family harm. He'd stayed here so as to keep their watchful eye off his loved ones, though it pained him to miss them so much he would rather that than to see them fall into the grip of the BlackHand's inqusition. The potent vitae coursed through his veins as his body began to stir, the waking stage of Torpor held him weakened at the moment... though a true master of his home, he could feel a familiar presence nearing.

alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 12:05:08 AM): She topped the stairs and went down the hall. Coming to a halt outside the bedroom she once shared with him, she felt Adir there. Opening the door slowly, stepping inside and seeing him almost in death scared the hell out of her. "ADIR!" She gasped out his name and her wilver wings suddenly unfurled defensively as if whatever had done this to him was still there between them. Stepping forward she knelt beside the bed, scared to take his hand, her wings shadowing his form from the moonlight outside. <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 12:13:56 AM): Inside the master chamber, the surroundings told of his long sleep, a film of dust lay atop the shelves and piano, a telling that they hadn't been touched in quite some time. The surprise in Adirian's face was very likely apparent to Raven, he hadn't expected to see anyone friendly walking through his doorway. "Oh gods... Raven... this must be some kind of apparition.. I knew I was losing it, but now I'm seeing things too... if only this were real."
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 12:18:20 AM): "SSshhhhhhhh..." Her hand reached out to caress his cheek and brush a dust blown strand of his hair from his precious look. "I am here beloved. I am real. I am here." She leaned down then, with that final whisper and hovered her lips softly over his before letting them alight and kissing him softly not wanting to make it too much as he had just wakened. Her mind and soul whispered to him as her wings relaxed to half cover them both. *Oh I have thought you mad or dead again... I have missed you so much*. <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 12:31:59 AM): "Ra...Raven love? You're really here? It's been so long, I'm sorry to have been away like this... I can't begin to explain" The feeling of her arms coiled around him swelled in his heart "Your suspicions weren't far off, my love... I almost did both at the same time... I couldn't come see you because they would know where to find you. I had to Choose not to, and that was the hardest thing ever." His voice trailed off as he let his head fall into her figure more, trying to find a handle on the moment.
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 12:36:04 AM): She furled her wings and moved to stretch her body along his. Curling up against his still weakened body she whispered as her head rested on his chest, her ebony hair trailing over his arm as the scent of lilacs lingered on her. "We agreed never to hide again, Adir. You should have come back to me." She closed her eyes. Had he not spoken, she almost would have thought this a dream as well. How long had she gone on thinking the worst? Madness? Insanity? Perhaps even a leap from the cliffs on a night she hadn't been home? So many things had gone thru her mind that even now, she couldn't remember all the visions. She only remembered they were all bad. "Never leave me again. Not like this. We will see everything thru again together. Promise me... please..." The final plea came out with a <c> alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 12:36:31 AM): choke of tears. She didn't know if her heart could handle another long absense from him... and she didn't want to try. Death or life, they would face it together. <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 12:47:17 AM): "Would you risk getting you killed if you were me? I couldn't have that... I know my limitations, and with my bloodline dead with the exception of you, I didn't have any kind of power to bargain with. I had to disappear or they would follow me." The guilt of not seeing her in such a long time, and having had to make the choice himself. It pained him to have hurt her by vanishing. "I won't ever leave you like that Raven, I swear... I'll do anything I can for you, just don't let me go right now." he couldnt take his eyes off Raven as he held her in his arms.

alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 1:40:47 AM): Raven cried softly. She knew he was right in his thinking, but she knew he was wrong in his conclusion. "I won't leave you love... I will never leave you." Tilting her head up to glance at him, a tear fell down her cheek and landed on his silken cravat. "Oh Adir, I don't care if they hunt us down. We are stronger together. We will always be stronger together." <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 1:52:49 AM): His form was still extremely weak, but in the course of the next day or so he would return to normalcy, the vitae he'd imbibed upon waking was a true rarity in that it came from another cainite of his own generation, great power stored within just a bit of blood. More than enough to get him walking again within just a few hours of his waking. "Raven, let us not talk of the past just yet, you are here now my love. Let us be joyous of that fact." his fingers interlaced within her own as he slid from the edge of his bed to stand, though somewhat slowly.
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 2:00:28 AM): She remained sitting on the edge of the bed as he stood. Watching him rise and smiling as she saw him, framed in moonlight, and glowing in his black clothing like a shadow of something she could hold forever. His darkness complimented her lightness and as she watched the moon filter thru the feathers of his wings, she realized, once more, just how much she loved him. She rose up and ran a finger lightly over the tip of his wing. "I have missed you so much." <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 2:05:58 AM): "I have missed you also, my dear one. More than I can ever tell you, but perhaps I can let the time I have spent amongst these walls show you the depth of my heart..." The way he spoke was a bit different than she might recall, almost as if his mind were still lost in the labyrinth of solitude. His steps moved slowly, and his figure leaned a bit more against Raven for support, but he seemed mostly solid. "The walls will show you, my dear...if I could only find them."
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 2:09:28 AM): She walked towards the wall closest to the balcony doors and lifted his hand to press it to the cold stone. Her own hand covering his as her voice, full of worry, whispered softly. "The walls are here love... they have always been here." Her voice shook as did the body pressed along the length of his. Her long emerald dress glistened in the moonlit shadows of his body as she looked up into his face hoping to not see the look of madness once more on his features. "It is here, love..." <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 2:14:24 AM): "Amidst the darkest halls of the Keep, where no natural light can find them, are the carvings. I fear I know not the way any longer, these walls tell no stories... only sleep has ever happened within these walls." His eyes regarded her quietly, he seemed just the same as ever in his appearance, though these words would seem more than a little cryptic to anyone else. "...I had naught but my own two hands, and the walls around me, so I learned to carve stone into the images I most wanted to see."

alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 2:18:15 AM): Her voice shook as her body shuddered. "Adir... I don't understand. What do you mean "darkest halls... no light..." She took a half step back, partly of fear, and partly to try and get a better look at him. "Do you mean there is someplace in the basement that you want to show me?" She feared basements as Alexa had. They never ventured into the catacombs of Serenade because of what had transpired there. If Alexa had ever gone back down, Raven never knew. But she could not bring herself to go down into the place where no light was to be found even from her own night increased sight. "Adir... what is it you are trying to tell me?" <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 2:25:31 AM): "In the times that I was gone... those that hunted me came here to the Keep, hundreds, maybe even thousands. They tried to invade, broke out every covering to keep the Light out..." His eyes fell shut, recalling the siege, his hand pressed hard to the wall to help him keep his feet. "...I had to venture where no light could reach me. I couldn't tell you where I went, I merely sought the first room with a strong door and no windows. It happened to have carpentry tools inside. I could only assume, a storage hold for the men who built the dungeons long ago." His eyes opened to seek her gaze again. "I spent months inside, maybe even a year or more while they searched the Keep... all the while I had naught but my thoughts to keep me. <c> adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 2:26:55 AM): ...the walls of my prison were my canvas. They could speak better than I of my thoughts while I was held away from you.
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 2:30:41 AM): She closed her eyes as she felt his anguish. She thanked the gods then that she did not share Alexa's empathy as she looked back up into his face. Anger, at being invaded, worry, at not being able to reach her and fear of never being set free. She saw all of it in his face and it pained her. Whispering softly hoping not to drive him over the edge of whatever precipice he stood on in his own mind, she touched his hand as it rested on the wall. "A room... you want me to help you find this room again? Where there was no light? Maybe it's in the basement... or down in the first floor hallway? I don't know what to do, Adir..." A tear fell down her cheek as she suddenly felt hopeless. "Please, Adir... tell me please..." She whispered. "What do I do?" <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 2:39:14 AM): His talent for reading auras told him of the wash of emotion assailing Raven, he knew he had to be the figure of strength he'd always showed in days past. With a little of the blood that dwelled within his figure, he willed a stream of vitae to course through himself to bolster his Stamina. Within moments he seemed more solid, more able to support himself. Her hand atop his became his hand holding hers as he tugged lightly for her to follow. "Your presence is a beacon of hope, in an otherwise weary world... Come with me, my dear. There is nothing to fear within these walls any longer." His footfalls took them out of his chambers and down the stairs, he tried to let his memories of that time spill into his mind, and not overcome him as he walked most briskly.
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 2:42:11 AM): She kept up easily enough, as their strides were near even. But the way he seemed bent on making it to this place still worried her. What was so important that upon waking and seeing her for the first time in decades, the first thought on his mind was a dismal place that was his dungeon while Hunters assailed his Keep? She bit her lip and pressed the worry deep as she followed. The only words able to leave her lips as they went down the steps and down the hallways were, "Yes love... I am always a beacon. Always here for you." <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 2:51:52 AM): Most of the damages in the siege had been repaired, as soon as the attentions of the mob were focused elsewhere, though the errant doorway here and there had no door only the remnant of a broken hinge instead. These rooms in lesser repair were the start of the dungeon where he'd hid away, not having been in use since his father had run the Keep, he saw no need to repair them. In passing through the earlier rooms, he had thought to grab a candelabra to light the way. "I know we'd talked about never hiding, Raven... but you were never far from my thoughts, I swear it." Coming to a stop, he paused outside a heavy wooden door and held out the grip of the candelabra to her. "You'll see what I mean about the walls..
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 2:54:41 AM): She stared at him a long moment when they stopped. Taking the candleabra, she squeazed his hand more to reassure herself than him, and with her free hand, pressed the door inward. As she stepped away from him and into the small room, she let out a small gasp. This is where he had hidden? It was so cramped for one with such magnifiscent wings. She took another step in but hesitated moving closer to the walls. Fearing what she would see there.<E>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 3:02:32 AM): The room would not be much more than ordinary in and of itself,, stone floor and walls, in the center stood a stack of wooden boxes just past knee height. The room hadn't been tended to since he'd left, which would be readily apparent by the stone powder and small pebbles of stone on the floor all over... Though the walls he kept speaking of over and over again held an elaborate mural as the flickering candle light washed over it. The central piece depicted a woman next to a large tree, her hair seemed to be blowing off her shoulders as she gazed outward. Behind her were many flowers in the surrounding garden, and yet further back a large house. <c> adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 3:04:28 AM): All the images in the scene were of fair quality with the exception of the woman... the detail of her image were most exquisite. Very close inspection would show the lines within the feathers of her wings, the flow of her dress and the beauty of her face, unmatched by any other person. "...I missed you, love."
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 3:08:21 AM): Unable to help herself, she stepped forward and a hand reached out to run a finger lightly over the woman's feathered wings. Tears fell now, unstopped and unbidden, as she spoke. Her voice cracked with the pain and anguish he must have felt. "Oh Adir... I had no idea..." She closed her eyes as her palm rested flat on the image, covering the woman. Her forehead leaning to press on the back of her hand. "Forgive me for not looking for you sooner. I am so sorry." Her whole body shook now with her sobs. <E.>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 3:13:22 AM): "The last wish I had, should they have found me, was to stand with you one last time behind Serenade... so I carved the scene as closely as I could..." He came up next to her, leaning against the wall as he took her within his arms, holding her against himself lovingly. "It is not your fault in the least, Raven love... Not at all."
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 3:18:50 AM): She managed to set the candleabra on the crates before pressing herself into his chest, her hands on her silken shirt scrunching it tightly as if not doing so he would slip from her once more. "Oh, Adir. Never again. We won't let them part us like that ever again." She rose on tip toes in her thigh high laced sandles and kissed him then and there. Kissed him with a passion unmatched in a century. One that would remind him that she was there and would never leave him again. <E>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 3:25:59 AM): The feel of her kiss nearly floored him, after it had been such a time absent, to feel her love for him now was just like being back in the moment of their very first kiss. The vision of the pair of them on the front porch of Serenade, her stance almost exactly as it was now. He met her kiss, showing every bit of love he held for her.

alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 3:36:03 AM): Her arms slid up his chest and around his neck, no longer caring that it was the dungeon they were in. Her lips parted and seemed to silently offer and beg for him all at once. As a soft sigh fell into his throat from her own, she pressed the final distance till every point of their bodies touched along every point of the other one. She made it clear, in sound and movement, that she did not want to wait any longer in welcoming him back into her arms. Her mind whispering to his strong with love *By the gods, how I have missed you...* <E>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 3:47:25 AM): His arms wound about her figure as she pressed against him, he never wanted to leave her embrace again, losing himself in this moment now would be perfect. He followed her plea in pushing the kiss deeper, allowing himself to be swept away in his love for her and accede to anything she wanted.
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 3:49:07 AM): *Show me how much you missed me love...* Her mind whispered back to him as she began moving her hands down his chest once more, this time unfastening the small golden clasps hidden under the fabric till her hands could caress bare flesh and draw the manly response from him she craved. <e.
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 3:58:13 AM): He was so drawn into their kiss he could not pull away from her lips as he pushed his hands to ascend up along her sides, pulling the straps of her gown down across her shoulders easily. He let his fingertips glide across the surface of her skin softly as he guided the fabric down her arms, feeling the shivers roll through him as her own touch played across his flesh.
alexandra_moroveston (8/31/2007 4:02:20 AM): Beneath the silken gown was what pleasured him most, the matching intimates that included her bra and panties, but also the bare long lean legs that lifted one, then the other, to step out of the pooled fabric so one leg could slide and wrap around his drawing them closer still. Her hands pulled and tugged at his shirt, soon pressing it from his shoulders and letting it fall, easily for the wing slits on the back, and she broke the kiss in order to move down and kiss his chin, neck and shoulders. All the while relishing the scent, touch and taste of him and the sounds echoeing from his lips. <e>
adirian_tepes (8/31/2007 4:17:21 AM): The feel of her lips pressing to his skin along with the closeness of her figure against him after missing her touch for so long, sent pleasant shivers through him. His hands slid across her skin softly, caressing all over as he leaned his head aside just so, to give her ample access. His fingers busied themselves in the unclasping and sliding the lingerie from her torso. Looking down to her as she kissed at his chest, thinking of how much he had missed being with her.
