04-22-2011, 02:24 AM Sahra Pritath
Death, cheating, lieing, killing, all of it... nothing filled the void.
Something called her towards the dark tower in her mind. A tapping on her temple's inner walls that beckoned on. Kill more.. lie more... cheat more. She would will a die to topple one quarter turn more just to win. She would woe a man to give her her heart's desire, only to slay him like the famed black widows at the pinnacle of pleasure afterward.
Her eyes were blue. What shade? All of them. Sky blue like a clear day over the Tatooine dessert if she were happy and getting her way. Blue like the depths of waters of Naboo where the surface was broken now and then by darker things trying to emerge. And on a rare occasion, usually just as Darkness filled her body and blood filled her hands, her eyes were the dark blue of space. Some say space is black. But the myriad of stars, planets and debris gave it a tint that seemed a velvety blue to her. Blackness was a color saved for one thing. What was inside her.
Her hair was ebony. Not a true black, but as close as an living object could be. Light played on her tresses as she slowly walked towards the tower she knew lay at the very vertex of the mountain she traversed. What light there was, which wasn't much, barely lit her way. There was a glow, like a halo. A soft giggle, bordering on hysterical, escaped her lips before she bit them. A halo, around the Sith, that was something she doubted was a vision that would earn her any points. Her eyes narrowed once more and she continued her gait, not even realizing she had paused in her musings.
As she neared the top, she pulled her cloak tighter about her. The dark leggings, that once in a while peeked from beneath the draped material of her cloak, were more appropriate than the dresses she normally wore. She wasn't here to impress anyone with her looks. She was grateful for the tight material now, tucked into her black boots as they were. Heels had no place here no matter how well she balanced in them. Her top was a bit more than was probably necessary. But she had always found a well laced corset top gave her arms more freedom in a fight and less for an enemy to grasp onto.
She turned around the last boulder and she saw it. The gaping maw to the place she hoped she could call home. No more to wonder if she was the only one with the Dark voice within her. One of her 'marks' had spoken of her powers as being that like a Sith just before she took the breath from him. She smiled again remembering the feel of the warm blood on her hands as his eyes crystallized from the poison on her dagger that had slid into his heart a moment before.
Glancing around she noticed the cliff rounded the Temple on more than just two sides. This place was not easily snuck up upon. But she wasn't here to sneak. She had no doubt that as soon as her transport had landed, she had been taken notice of. The whisper in her mind tried to scream and claw its way out. It was like an animal that knew it was home finally, but the cage kept it from that final step. She closed her eyes a moment to calm it. She could not silence it. The desire to do evil, to do harm and to be the best regardless of the consequences could not be silenced either. It was like asking a newborn child not to breathe. An adult could hold their breath, but a newborn could not. Both knew they had need of air, but the adult had learned how to control it for their purposes. She could no more understand or use the Darkness in herself... yet. She hoped in this place she would go from a newborn to an adult. She could no more live without the Dark tapping in her mind that she could the air in her lungs. But she wanted to USE it to her advantage and control it... not the other way around.
Stepping up to the gate she ran lithe porcelain fingers over the cold stone and equally cold wrought iron, if iron was what it was. It had a different feel, something tougher, less easily manipulated. She adjusted the cloak so her hood was back. She would not be overly showy about her presence, but she didn't want to make it seem as if she were trying to break in either.
She walked around the pillar and traversed the outer edge of the courtyard heading to the right of the gate. As each obstacle came before her, she would study it, memorize it, think how she could use it for tactical advantage if driven towards it. Then she would continue. If not stopped, she would merely walk the entire circumference of the courtyard, making a wide berth of the entrance steps, and then spiral again ever closer to the center. Every piece of marble, every cold steel or metallic object, every living plant she could caress discretely was tested for it pliability. If backed into a corner, she needed to know a stone statue wouldn't give way, a metal gate wouldn't swing open behind her and a tree could not be brushed aside. She continued wandering though ever present for a hint that someone was joining her, besides those watching from the windows above.

04-22-2011, 05:49 AM Saydi N'net'tek
Saydi was training at the back grounds of the temple. He had just finished some mental training within the temple and needed some fresh air. With his blades he was making techniques on a old tree stump, when he felt a presence nearing his location. Before he turned around he sheeted his blades on his back-strap, and he grabbed his robe. As Saydi watched the female walk along the outskirts of the temple, seemingly interested in it for some reason, he waited to observe her for some moments.
As Saydi jumped up, flipped around his axis and came down on top of the old tree. He took on a meditative position as he waited to see the reaction of the woman.

She was startled and didn't hide the frown for a brief moment before looking to the … was it a man? She recognized the species but could not recall where from. At the risk of dismissing him out of hand and perhaps alienating one of those who could help, the better part of valor kicked in and she inclined her head in a small bow. Never taking her eyes from him, she then stood straight once more and spoke. “I am Sahra. I have come to seek help in the growth and training of that which is darkest in me. Can you help?”
Many see asking for help as a weakness. She once did, long ago. But she has learned that in learning from another, you also learn about another. And since knowledge gave power, she knew the teachings she had from such a place as this would be ten fold as they would be on the outside. She only hoped that someone here had the sense to think as she did.
Her eyes gazed unwavering at the one on the tree branch and she hoped he didn't wish a fight. She was certainly no match outwardly for those within these walls. And she doubted a confrontation in the courtyard would be as woeing and sinfully pleasant enough to set her true arts into the light. So she watched, and waited, and hoped this wasn't to be a dismissal.

04-23-2011, 08:17 PM Saydi
Saydi was still motionless on the tree stump. Sitting there, not moving anything other then his eyes. His robes was slightly moving in the wind but nothing much was shown by it's movement. The small sign of respect intrigued Saydi as he watched the woman from top to bottom, and back up. Then she asked for help in her training, in which most sith saw the flaw in a person. Saydi however didn't share that opinion, and was more convinced that when asking for help, you would see a pure reaction from others. In which you would see their motivations and beliefs.
As Saydi stayed motionless, he spoke to the woman with a soft neutral tone of voice. "You wouldn't be the first to ask that from someone here. Depending on whichever we decide of you, that could be arranged or not." He deliberately ended with the negative to see her reaction. Most people coming here would become offensive or cocky, neither of those where useful in convincing Saydi. He also mentioned that he wasn't alone in this decision as he knew he wouldn't be the only one that felt the womans presence. Saydi kept his tone as he continues, "Before you can be considered for any help. I would like you to tell me what you speak off, when talking about 'the darkest thing'?"

“Or not... of course.” She nodded and looked around her periphery without actually turning her head enough to take her eyes off the one before her. One never knew in a new situation if it was an upstart new member or the leader themselves that you were speaking to. It was always better to ere on the side of caution. Straightening her back slightly she looked at him as he watched her. “There is this...” she licked her lips seductively and closed her eyes slightly as if remembering the taste of a lover, “... darkness in me. Something that calls to my being like air calls to my lungs.” She opened her eyes fully and looked at him. “Just as I know it helps me be who I am, I fear sometimes that my lack of knowledge of it is keeping me from being more than the sum of my parts.” She ran her hand over a nearby statue. “I know the herbs that make a man pliable enough to give me my heart's physical needs and desires. But I also know a way to suggest... to push... to force...,” the final word was almost a feline growl, “my desires on another. I want to know more. I desire to master it. I want to be the best so there is no worry in my mind that I am less than what I can be.” She tilted her head looking slightly like a curious bird, but then one may say it was a cat looking to see if the mouse before her would run. She would not chase if this one did... she was inexperienced, but not idiotic nor suicidal. It wouldn't surprise her if this place had been hard to find because those who were part of the 'or not' ones were never seen or heard from again.
She wished to be part of the silent masses... not the masses that were silenced. “I come with something in me I know little about but know is as much a part of me as my own coursing blood. I wish to know more....” She hoped it didn't come across as begging. Fearing it might, she dipped her chin down and slitted her eyes once more as she watched him. “I WILL learn about this within me. I just am smart enough to come to where I can seek a Master rather than trial, error and time in doing it alone.” She dared him to say she was lieing. How does one explain their soul? How does one explain their expanding lungs to one whose hand is not on their chest? Her mind fairly screamed these questions at the stranger before her. But she knew to voice those out loud would make her seem a poet more than a fighter. And she wanted no mistake... she was a fighter. As to the answers to those questions... perhaps it was time she found out.

04-25-2011, 05:39 PM Saydi
Saydi listened good to what the woman was saying, He was intrigued by her view and about the motion behind it. Although Saydi thought it showed some flaws, he did want to know more about her view."So you think Trial and Error are not a good way to train your potential? Or do you think you might be able to walk around the Error by finding someone who wants to tutor you in the way you feel is the best?"
As Saydi watched the woman over once more, he also wanted to know other things about her. "Are there any special skill you already have, that are said to be 'special'? Or are you an rough gem that has to be polished to find the skills suited with your being?" As Saydi jumped of the stump, he landed right in front of the woman, looking up straight in to her eyes, to not only hear her answer, but also see it in her eyes. To feel her answer that was what he wanted to do, and to find out.

She looked up at him and slowly shook her head. “There is a difference between 'trial and error' out there,” she motioned to the gate behind her, “and guided trials in here with errors being the ocassional outcome. I would never find one person to train me to the best. There is no point. One who had mastered one single thing is no match for someone who is very, very good at many things. I know I cannot skip the 'error' part. I will be wrong, many times. More times than I am right at the beginning. But rather than blindly making the same mistakes over and over again, I will grow and learn and soon my mistakes will be new ones, not repeats.” She clenched her fists. This made no sense. Why did she have to defend herself when all she wanted was to learn. She wanted to know what this gift was, how this Force within her worked. She wanted to growl and lash out but she had no idea who this one was before her. If it was merely a curious student, she would be sure to find out later and give him a 'what for' for being so inquisitive and rude.
Yet if this was a Master, one who already knew what she desired, then control was the better part of valor. But it didn't make things easier and her body was growing cold. It was from the chill in the air or her own rage, but she knew she had to get control or this would be her fast ticket back down the hill... and not coming through at the bottom in one piece so she could go elsewhere, she was sure.
As he leapt down and landed before her, she smiled. Something about this one, this close to her, spoke of power. Trained or not, she sensed it within him. Her smile deepened a bit. “You know of the Force in me... don't you? The desire to Master it so it doesn't control you? Then perhaps you understand.” Polished stone or rough gem? She was a bit of both. “I believe I am a rough gem. I have some knowledge I have found handy. I can fetch my knife to me from across the room (force pull). I can also lay a thought in a man's head as if it were his own (Force persuasion, mind speak, project) and make him do my bidding on small matters. I am also fairly good at pushing someone or something from me with enough force to kill. I cannot yet control that one even mildly so it rarely is used except in a rage when the loss of the person or object will not be mourned (force push). I wish to get better in these ways. I also wish to know what other abilities I may be capable of. Perhaps there is something in me I believe I do naturally that I can enhance... or an enhancement I already posses but don't realize. Either way, I know I have much to learn. Please... allow me the chance.” She was not so much begging, as hoping to gain an answer without three days in a courtyard being queried by the myriad of occupants who resided here.

04-26-2011, 03:17 PM Saydi
Saydi listened to the woman without really paying attention to the words, he was feeling them, sensing them and finding them through her vocals. He felt her getting a bit frustrated about his approach, and that was exactly what he was aiming for. He wanted to push her, see her limit and eventually find her control over it. To see how long it would take to act out, but also when to stop it. Saydi ignored her question as he started to walk around her once, coming back to a halt in the same position he landed, just a few seconds earlier. Looking back up to the woman he listened to her abilities, what she knew and where that could help her.
As she explained her limited power of Force push and Pull, and the ability to affect a simple mind. Saydi shifted his gaze to a small rock just a couple of meters or so away. Using Force Pull he grabbed it and made it levitate between the two. Holding it in place just below his gaze he smiled a bit, as he watched the womans reaction. "So you want to learn to control this? And try to learn and enhance those abilities?" In the blink of an eye, Saydi let go of the rock. With a smirk he said to her; "Catch It!" While it dropped to the ground.

Sahra growled softly under her breath as she was circled like some racing creature or slave at auction. She knew it was necessary, but she didn't have to like it. "Yes... I do." She frowned as he so easily maneuvered the rock between then. She had to place her knives specifically so when it slid to her she didn't slice her own hand.
“Catch it!” He said and she watched as in almost slow motion the rock was falling from chest height towards the ground.
But it wasn't in slow motion. She didn't have that level of finesse yet. As her hand twitched unnecessarily towards the rock, it did stop. For just a split second. Without much of a hesitation, the rock then shot at her hand and she bit her lip to keep from yelping as it smacked the skin with an audible 'crack' and then fell to the ground. “Mmmmm” She brought the red skinned palm to her lips and ran her lips over the offending mark. “My mind keeps assuming I have to hold it. I know it can hover. I have seen it done... even before this moment. But I can't seem to make it happen myself.”
The words were spoken less to the one before her and more to herself as if trying to explain her inadequacies. She hated admitting shortcomings, or even failures. And she beat herself up over them probably more than was necessary because of it.

04-26-2011, 03:41 PM Saydi
"well that you can't, yet, is shown here. But that wasn't my meaning behind the move." Saydi stopped himself from explaining his move, he wanted her to want it, to grab the knowledge or learn it in due time. As he stepped a pace backwards he grabbed the rock back and held it in his hand. Looking at the mark on it he remembered his first tries to do the same. With a nonchalant toss, he threw it away over his shoulder as he stretched himself by flexing his back.
"So you have come her to learn to control your darkness, but what do you know about us. What goes around here, and what we might or might not do to people who are disloyal to our way of life?" Saydi placed a test in the question, he wanted her answer but also to see what kind of loyalty the woman had, what she would do when it got ugly, dangerous and even deadly.

Sahra listened and nodded. Limitations... that was the question here. Not ability. He wasn't interested in what she 'could' do but what she 'couldn't'? Could that be it? It wasn't the tests that were beginning to grate on her, it was the not knowing.
“I know that you are powerful, that much is known by all. That you care not how things unfold and show no mercy where none if due.” She laughed slightly though it sounded dark and malicious, “And sometimes not even then.” She thought of herself that way. True innocence was rarely tampered with... but then again, who was truly innocent anymore.
“Disloyalty begets death.” She stared straight into his eyes as she replied. Her heart rate increased slightly as the tinge of fear in the unknown seeped into her veins. “And I know that your training is the best. No limits. There is no agenda set from the outside that limits your wants, your desires, or your end abilities. No Senate to tell you 'don't do this or that'. Your power is your goal. And I want to be part of that.” She watched the rock land but didn't fail to notice that he paused overly long staring at his own hand. Had he failed the same test when he first came here? That was an interesting thought to ponder.

Saydi nodded slightly, as he stood there filling up his mind with her words, taking them in debating them and formulating them into a total picture of her. She was taunting, that much was sure, she wanted it more then most but she had a flaw in her philosophy. That was something she would learn in due time, and the masters would make that clear to her. As he looked at her, he placed that thought, her desire into her head. Concealing it with her own thoughts and ideals, until it was time to come out again in a later stadium.
"You speak with a certain wisdom only found in secret places. Not many know the true beliefs that we live by and not many survive it when they finally understand them. We teach not only with words but also with actions, some considered different by others but always have a purpose underneath. But don't forget that even we have limits, if we don't surrender to these limits we will perish and fail our personal goals."
As Saydi paused for a moment he watched the womans reflexes to his next question:"You spoke of mastering your darkness, but what if you do, what goal in life would you seek when you do?"

She nodded but hadn't realized her knowledge wasn't galactic bits streamed together. “I was once compared to you... by a...” she almost said friend, but a better word came to mind, “target. It made me curious. I spent a long time trying to figure out his meaning. When I did, I made my way here.” She nodded to the courtyard but managed to maintain eye contact. She wouldn't put it past the creature to try something else, by way of a 'test' of her abilities. “I want to excel. I want to be the best. And since I have discovered you are the best... it seemed a logical place to come. I want to rise above those with constraints. I want to rise above those who limit themselves. I want to rise to the ranks of those who know that only the Force and the galaxy can bind them in any way.” She looked at him and hoped it was enough. After all, she had learned death came sometimes swift and sometimes slow. Somehow she doubted fast was the way they did things here.

"A nice answer, you give, but people who rise will ultimately fall. Sometimes it's better to attain and preserve then to rise above it and excel. By excelling in one part, you usually forget other parts." As saydi got the feeling the woman was getting jumpy he tried to push forward once more. He didn't brought his saber with him, but he had his blades. He wanted to see how she would react to a sudden strike but he waited.
The woman was clearly thinking about her answers time after time, and saydi knew she was doing good by doing it. But he wanted to see more, see the power she claimed to have. As people said in his hometown. Talking won't fill holes, Actions will. Saydi moved very quick to the woman, standing within a centimeter of her body within a second. Looking at her in a taunting way;"And what would you do with people who endanger you, people who provoke you? Will you be passive or aggressive? Will you act or cower?" Saydi said with an aggressive tone in his voice.

Her half nod was proof she was sincerely listening. But as he moved towards her, she reacted. She hadn't expected him to come at her so blatantly. Her eyes widened and her hands flat palmed his chest as a small growl fell from her lips. The Force filled her hands and the amount of 'push' she put behind the shove was immense, but untrained.
If it worked, her intention was merely to push him back a few feet, perhaps knock him onto his backside. She just wanted time to back up and plan her move. She didn't think drawing the short sword on her back was the appropriate response, so she waited to see how the reaction would be taken. But as she 'hit' him, she suddenly feared that too much or too little would happen and her mind reeled.

Saydi smiled as he felt the reaction of the woman. "Good!" Saydi said under his breath as he was pushed back a few meters. He finally had pushed her enough, and was pleased with the control she had over her own mind. If sith didn't have this, they would certainly be consumed by their own self, and then they would lose.
Saydi noticed the conflict in her posture as he held his hands still next to his body. Ready to react at any movement seen hostile enough to have to go to his back, and grab his swords. He had left the clips on the swords, so he had to open them without the womans notice. But he decided to wait just one more second. "It feels good, doesn't it?" Saydi said with a smirk, just watching her without moving even an inch.

She was glad she hadn't flung him into the gating behind him, and also glad she had moved him at all. As she left her hands out before her, arms half bent, she nodded. "It has been a while. I did not consider that not using it would make using it feel a relief. Is it always so? To feel the edge of the ability dulled because of non use... And to feel a relief when used once more?" She was curious. If this was the case, then training, properly, and use was something she would no longer hide, or short herself on again as she had in the past.
Her arms bent slightly but she kept her hands, like a weapon, at the ready. Would he lunge for her now? Would he throw something at her she couldn't dodge? She felt her mind race with upcoming possibilities.

"That's enough... both of you." a voice rang out from the entrance. He commanded respect especially from the pip-squeak... he felt whoever had accepted the tiny, goofy looking creature had no sense what-so-ever. "Hit the bricks, termite." By this moment Darth Destru was in full light in his black as sin persona. His robes were dark and crafted eloquently, faux skulls hung off it as a warning to all who met him. He was a bringer of death and so ironically soon he would be a bringer of life (but that is a tale for another time). Zephyrus peered through the eye-sockets in his 'face' at the woman yet said nothing more simply staring at her. Finally he spoke again, "I failed to arrive in time to see what you were here for...? It's probably another story about begging for strength and power? Stop me if I'm wrong..." he let out a sigh, "That's so common I can't bear to hear it anymore. To be quite frank I really don't care your reasoning for coming. I just need to know you're worth the time and effort to have the audacity of being called a Sith."

As Sahra looked towards the level volumed booming voice, a scowl flicked across her features. She didn't know the hierarchy enough to speak on whether the new addition to the courtyard had a right to speak thus, so she kept her mouth shut for now. As the man turned to her and rattled off the blather and boredom points of surely every recruit to come through here, something inside her seethed. Wasn't that why anyone did anything? To better themselves. If you seek betterment then you seek power. It came in many shapes and sizes but the goals were the same.
Her voice was steady but the aire of indignity and digust was obvious. Who was he to speak to her like that. She knew she was a 'nobody' here so far, but still...
"Something tells me no one thought highly of your arrival here, either, Sir. So if you don't mind me asking, who are you to judge? No one who arrives here is worthy. If they were, they'd be Sith before ever mounting that trail." She didn't realize she had turned and closed the distance between them by half. She had also placed herself between the creature who had greeted her and the rude man before her. "And to be honest, if you are the end all be all of who makes such choices than its a wonder 'anyone' manages to occupy this Keep!"
By the time she had finished she had closed the gap to within a hair's breadth of a sabers light length from him. She may be stubbor, determined and crazy... But she was not stupid. She gave herself room and ability to jump back and draw her blade if need be. She only hoped it wouldn't come to that. She knew she was no match for what was probably excellent skill on his part. She stared him straight in the eyes with her defiant orbs and dared him dispute that he was not found overly worthy and welcomed like a child come at long last.
She just hoped this wasn't her last defiance, because it was a poor show of her abilities.

"No one thought highly of my arrival?" he repeated. "Well let's see Master Shadowtide herself inducted me into the order. But for formalities sake you can call me Darth Destru I am a Knight within the order and have only been producing the best combatants for the order. So you can sort of say I am a guide, yes there are other who could bring you in but none so hmmm... accommodating as I am...." he smiled beneath his mask, "So I would suggest you watch your tongue or I just might cut it out." he began to chuckle, "I like the fire in you but that won't help you here... a lot of those manage to get snuffed out along the way. Have you ever considered that this might be the wrong choice for you?" He questioned.

She smiled. He had accepted her fire, but feared her being burned by it herself... interesting.
"Would you believe me if I said 'no'? Somehow I doubt that. We all have moments of doubt. But coming through them and being stronger resolved at the other side is what makes our 'fires' burn. Keeps them from being snuffed out. Without doubt there would be no courage, no exploration, no growth. Did I doubt? Yes... DO I doubt, now? No."
Looking around she thought about his words. She backed up a step to even the space between them to a less hostile distance. Looking back into his eyes, her dark orbs gave a sincere accounting of her soul. Could he hear her thoughts, there would be no doubt, no hesitation, no waffling. "I know what is in me. And I know there is no place else I can learn to hone that Darkness better than here. One does not go to a weaponsmith to learn to cook. Nor do you go to a droid on matters of the heart. So, too, do you not go to a shining throng do gooders when the questions within you are the stuff of nightmares to some. I know this is the only place I will grow, get better and serve a purpose that will not conflict with who and what I am. So, no, I do not doubt I belong here." Smiling softly, she tilted her head a bit as if trying to see him in a different way. "I can see why Master Shadowtide took you in. You have it in you to be great. And no doubt she knows and sees it. I hope someday someone will have the ability to see that quality in me as well." Straightening her gaze, realizing her words had been spoken aloud, she raised her chin slightly. It wasn't arrogance, it was pride, and determination that squared her jaw. She was ready... she knew she was. Question now was... ready for what?

"You speak very well... it appears I may have misjudged you." He situated the mask that lay upon his face. She appeals to my ego.... what a clever girl... "Perhaps you are different from the rest of this society.... perhaps you are strong enough to be a contributing member of this distorted little society. Perhaps you are too far gone and that is why you have been attracted to this path." he paused shifting his weight from one foot to the other pondering what to do. Again he fiddled with his mask, this time removing it revealing his pale face and red-yellow eyes. "Tell me... why do you think I wear this thing?" he said referring to the mask that was now in his hand.

She smiled without arrogance as he accepted that perhaps she was more than merely a pretty face. As he asked about the mask, she absently bit her lip, a habit she rarely realized she was doing. After a moment, she stepped closer. The other one in the courtyard with them, if he was still there, was momentarily forgotten. In a moment her vision and thoughts narrowed to this one man before her.
This time the move wasn't threatening, nor was it confrontational. It was merely so that her words had impact. "To ask those without answers the question, perhaps?" Her finger reached to lightly brush the rim a moment, if he allowed it. She looked back up and shook her head. "I cannot pretend to know what the reason is. Perhaps it is your desire to remain aloof. To learn and grow on merit of accomplishment and not because of who you are or who you are connected to. Perhaps it is to hide behind when you come to frighten no initiates." This time there was a touch of myrth and teasing in her words. "If you are an arrogant man, perhaps you wear it to hide the beauty that I now gaze upon. Fearing that it would be a distraction to those you speak to." She let her hand drop and looked him straight in the eyes, "Or perhaps... it is to hide behind till you find yourself. A place to retreat and know that no matter what judgements are passed your way, they can flow over the barrier with only eye and mouth sits to seap into . A way to not be molded, but to mold yourself. Once you are who you are, perhaps that mask will disappear. Or more likely, it will change, grow and morph into a better representation of who and what you have become." She winked and smiled a bit and added for jest. "Or perhaps it is because you are so hiddious you didn't wish to frighten me away just yet." The smile that followed and the soft laughter were to ease the seriousness. This was a man she could easily come to call friend. And she hoped that the explosive side she had been introduced to, had an equally tempered milder side.

His white teeth appeared through his lips as a smile emerged. "All viable possibilities... perhaps they are all correct." his tongue ran over one of his cuspids. "I hope you aren't confused about the treatment you will be receiving here. We are generally not nice people..." he paused a moment and sighed, "...on second thought I find the population here to be under the impression they are vile creatures when in reality are weak minded individuals that only continue to weaken the order. Now how does that make you feel? What prescription would you offer for that situation?"

"Hahahaha you crack me up, human!" As he came walking closer to the two. He kept quiet for some moments just to observe the newcomer. The knight he had heard off before, and Saydi had remembered some things from. "People who see others as weakening's to the order most often wont see their own weaknesses. You say i might be weak, and the one who trained me as well. But do you have proof. You never had a change to even try me or to see me in action. You only see others as weaker because you over estimate yourself, Destru!!!! And when you say you have provided the best? where's the proof, if it was so you would already be called master now wouldn't you?" Saydi made a small smile to the woman with a hint in his eyes that he was daring the knight, provoking him.

Zephyrus remained cold but lifted and formed his hand as if he was choking the little creature... for he was. He used the force to constrict the air flow of the creature he lifted it off its feet. He could end the thing in an instant but then he might have some problems with his newly-found ally in Aldan. He dropped the little loudmouthed creature as he had proven what the creature had wanted.... he was weak, he could do nothing to defend himself against the technique. "If you want me to kill you get me a written consent form from your master and meet me in the training grounds, parasite... You don't even hold the power to choose your matter of life and death. Your arrogant words are only taken as foolishness to even provoke me to kill you is foolish. Now, I and this recruit don't have time to exchange petty words with the likes of you. Trust me, I have no problem ridding this order of cretins. Should you accept my offer of ending your pathetic existence I will do so, you are merely a waste of space anyway. Now go leave me to my actual occupation and if you have the intestinal fortitude to provide that letter to your destruction I will look forward to leaving you blind deaf and mute so you shall never be an annoyance to anyone again in this life or the next." he said commanding respect and growing slightly angry with the entire situation, "NOW GIRL ANSWER MY QUESTION! This pest has set you back ten-fold and my patience grows thin, so if you make it into the order now you can thank him later... if he survives that long." His eyes shifted to the miscreant.

As the man before her lifted the creature off the ground, her frown grew. Was this normal? Was she seeing the hierarchy? She had a lot to learn still, but she promised herself she would learn quickly.
As the man before her turned his now, once more, angry eyes to her she heard his voice. Somehow his rage had affected him enough for her to see a wakness. She bit her lip in bringing it to his attention. She would keep it hidden away and use it another day. She somehow doubted her acceptance or denial was based wholly and solely on the one who now growled at her. But she would not risk it. She wasn't one to cower or even change herself just to suit another.
“You ask me what I would offer in reference to your belief that those here are not vile, nor evil, but merely weak minded? Well I only have to say that I cannot judge. I have hear you are more than some here, and less than others. So if both ends are weak by your standards, then I would have to learn what your standards are. You cannot sit on the precipice between two extremes, call them both by the same name and then label yourself apart from them. You claim you are more than him,” she points to Saydi on the ground and realizes she doesn't remember if they ever exchanged names, “and he claims you are not called Master yet.” She looked at him and once more that 'curious' look came upon her as she tilted her head. “I am wondering Sir, what it is you DO consider yourself? For without knowing that... I cannot have a complete scale by which to judge... though as I am part of the same thread, and yet apart from it.. I cannot even judge myself till I know the measure by which you are using.” She looked at Zeph and her mind reeled. He was so full of rage. Did it help his training? Or did it hinder it? Was it enough to be arrogant and strong? Or was there more to it? As she thought of the questions she would desire answers for, more followed in their wake till she merely watched to see if Destru, as he had been called, would send her away or merely be more enraged and turn from her to depart. She hoped not the first... yet in her deepest heart of desires, something else in her prayed harder for the second one not to happen either.

The furrow in his brow did not disappear but the frown upon his face did. It arced up into a smile. "To reward one act of defiance and to punish another... now some might call that what...? Hypocritical?" he shook his head from side to side denying it was then shrugged. "Perhaps it is.. I am not one to make excuses for myself or my actions. And while I see the defiance in your tone of voice you provide actual reasoning for it... you are curious," he looked back over his shoulder at the small creature, "you are NOT speaking merely to hear your own voice or to mask yourself as something YOU ARE NOT." he paused getting in close and lowering his voice to a decibel-level that was not a whisper but one that you would have to lean in and concentrate on to hear. "I think you know that you are not on my level." he then leaned out once more, "This creature on the other hand wants to ride with the 'big boys' and pretend he is on my level when he clearly is not... I don't frankly care if you think my reasoning is skewed, or that I am unreasonable or unfair. Frankly, I just don't like that... thing." he spat the word defining his heir of confidence and his possible prejudice, "Why can I set myself apart from them?" he repeated her question, "Because I am different from them. I hold myself to a higher standard. I get myself to where I need to be. I follow my orders and I am ruthless and if you can find a chink in my armor I implore you to pursue taking your shots. I am not simply here for a power to brag about I am here on my own personal mission. And if I need to be hard on fools like this to get something out of them I will. There are some here that hold themselves back by putting a moral compass in front of them and not pushing their own abilities. There are those who have an honor system in place where they will just stand and wait while they are run through from behind. There are those who run their mouths hoping to get noticed while they don't mean a thing... talk is cheap kid." he said again taking a shot at the small creature, "I have took it upon myself to breed out the weakness here. To make this order better than it should be. Sure there are some that are strong allies; Fari-Fax, Aldan, Master Tankreyd, Master Shadowtide and others. And there are those that are so close and almost have it right... and I am here to manipulate them into world-class sith... but if they don't learn quickly then they are expendable." he walked back and forth now. "You may think I am a heartless piece of rankweed... well good. Keep that mindset. I'm not here to make friends." In reality Zephyrus did have a wide array of emotions. He was not always a vile sinner as he liked everyone to see. He just didn't want people to kriff with him. In the Sith order you either got strong or got dead any sign of weakness and you were quickly dealt with by the stronger members of the society. Zephyrus was there to prepare them for the worst and if they didn't like him then he felt he did his job. He gave them something to work toward. He made them survivors... provided they didn't cross him. "I am the embodiment of what Sith should be..."

Saydi finally came to his feet. It had taken some moments to find his breath and to find the calmness to continue. As he stood up, he only smiled at Darth Destru. He looked over to Sahra as he stated: "You have a good keen mind, lady Sahra. As Darth Destru obviously also sees. It might give us a good insight if you would explain to us where you came from, what your past was? As for you Darth Destru, you failed to see my point and only attacked me. You fail to see that every weakness has it's strength and therefor you fail to see the meaning behind my words." Saydi paused for a moment, while dusting of his robe. He stepped a few meters in a diagonal patron to face both at the same angle and distance.
"This is not about me, or yo Destru, that we should do another time and be sure that it will happen. This is about her, and her possibility to join the sith. As you and i have done before her, we need to see her loyalties and expectations and not those you want to see, nor those i want to see. By doing so we blind ourselves to the possibilities of weaknesses and thats is something that wouldn't help you or me." Saydi repositioned his robe as he sat down on the ground, in a meditative posture. Telepathically he finished his words to Destru. "You have shown me your weakness, and i know you haven't seen mine. I'm only her to finish her interview so if you want to rant at me seek me out one day, and we will settle it as two sith." Saydi motioned to sahra to answer both darth destru and his question, as he closed his eyes and waited.

"As I said before this is strongly my decision whether I find this one's application here relevant or not. You have no voice here so we will no longer be requiring it polluting this atmosphere. I am taking over the direction of this interview. I will tell you once more... 'hit the bricks, termite'" he reiterated sternly. "If you wish to seek me out again make sure you have that consent form from your master. Your words a cheap similarly to your so-called attributes. If you think I am weak find me in the training grounds... killing you shouldn't take more than three minutes." he paused looking to the girl, "You may answer his question, though."

05-06-2011, 12:56 PM Sahra Sahra listened to the exchange. When Saydi sat on the ground and grew silent, something tingled in her mind like she should understand what was happening. As Destru spoke again, she looked back to him and replied. There was no smug look on her face, no defiant look in her eyes. She tone and timber of her voice was not just even, but almost eerily so... “I came to you from many planets, many cities and many places. I am a Black Widow and have been for as long as I can remember. I don't recall my parents, just a string of adults who were given claim over me. I chose to leave and make my own way when I was 17. I found a man who would do anything I desired if I smiled for him.” Here her eyebrows lowered a bit menacingly as she recalled, “And I smiled often. When he grew tired of me, I merely found another. As I grew, I discovered I could do things the average pleasure girl could not. I had the ability to place a suggestion in someone's mind and make it theirs. I cannot do it all the time, or with great pattern of success.... yet.” She looked him straight in the eyes now. “It is one of the things I desire to learn and master. As I grew older and stronger, my desires and wants grew. I found men willing to move mountains, build corporations and hand over assets like it was some Coruscant crystalline bauble. I have stakes in companies on Coruscant, Tattoine and even a small shop in what was once Telos. But they matter not save to give me income to travel and do more. I want it all... power, money, the ability to no longer care that I have no past, only that the future is what I make of it. My loyalties... are to me.” She looked down at Saydi for he had been the one to mention them. “Therefore they are steadfast and unshakable. If you wonder if I will be loyal to the Sith, then yes... of that you can assure yourself. For loyalty to you means loyalty to myself. And I will never betray my soul.” She looked back to Destru once more. “He says you are no Master, yet you say my fate here rests in your choice. If that is true, on both accounts, then I ask you to accept my loyalty. Accept my diligence, my skills, my willingness to learn and be molded. Accept me to the Sith and you will find no greater ally or friend. And in time, I swear, you can even say I am worthy of that choice you made. I will stumble, I will falter and I will learn. But I can also promise I will grow, I will better and I will surpass those who claim I am incapable. I was once told I was incapable of surviving in the world alone. I believe my standing here proves that wrong... give me the chance to stand before you in an equal number of years and prove that your first instinct of me was wrong as well.” She then raised the corner of her lip and one eyebrow and grinned almost evilly, “Is that not any more or less than someone once did for you in this very spot not so very long ago, Lord Destru?” She said his name for the first time and while it was veiled in a chide, there was respect and honor in it, not teasing or maliciousness. *** 05-07-2011, 02:17 PM Zeph Zephyrus stroked his chin and pondered the situation, "You do have a lot to learn about the Sith, deary... very well I, Knight Destru hereby accept your loyalty on behalf of the Sith Empire." he smiled and nodded, "Welcome aboard, Disciple Sahra... you are now the same rank as that little worm over there." he continued to smile, but his icy cold eyes melted away. It really was a joke now, not necessarily an act of malice. He offered his hand to the woman as if he was about to lead her onto the dance floor when in reality he was only going to lead her into a very dark place... he would show her the darkness of her own soul. *** 05-07-2011, 11:41 PM Sahra She smiled at Zeph as he welcomed her. She had made it. Now it was all downhill from here. She just hoped it was head over heels as she was tossed. She sighed inwardly at the insult paid to her and Saydi, but her face gazing at Zeph was glowing as she smiled. "Thank you, Knight Destru." She inclined her head and took his head hoping her heart wasn't truly beating as loud as it felt in her ears. Excitement, nervousness, shyness, eagerness, and stubborn resolve were all there inside her. And deep inside, ever present, ever ready... the Darkness laughed. She knew she had finally come home. "Lead on, Sir Knight... something tells me as far as rank goes, I am less your fair Lady and more your fair servant." There was chiding laughter in her voice. "So mold me as you would. Make me strong for your sake and for that of the Sith. Show me how to be what we both aim for... the best." Her shining smile barely changed, but her eyes made it look somehow less flirtacious and suddenly very predetory like. *** 05-09-2011, 12:31 AM Zeph He smiled and rubbed his tongue over the point on his canine tooth as he contemplated the decision he had just made. He nodded. "Come, time is of the essence and I always have less than I realize..." He said leading her directly to the training grounds. ' *** 05-09-2011, 12:35 AM Sahra She followed him and kept a grip on his hand and a hop in her step lest she find herself dragged. "Shall we dance, then..." she quipped as they entered the Keep and she found herself swept into her heart's desire... ... the trail to becoming a Sith Master....
