Sahra
Sahra had left Zeph's training the night before and sought out a housekeeper who showed her to her room and got her set up with extra clothes, bed linens and showed her to a room she would share with several other students. Her bed and armoire were her own, but the bath, training room and common rooms were shared like the dorms of most higher education systems on other worlds.
When she awoke early the next morning, she swiftly changed to a tight pair of training pants and a tunic top that accented her form rather well. She debating taking her personal short sword, but thought better of it, grabbed her cloak and headed out into the hallway. As she reached the end of the Disciple's wing she paused and debated where to go next. Sharp eyes glanced down her choices. One hall would lead her deeper into the Keep and to places like the kitchen and dining room. Another choice lead her outside to the courtyards and entryway where she had come in. And the final was the direction that Zeph had spoken of as the wing where the higher ranks slept. Smiling she turned down the hall and opened her senses tried to feel for her mentor.
If she could find him, hopefully without waking anyone else, she could ask him about a proper place to practice her new arts without bother of lesser students. She knew they were probably better than her, having been here longer and studied perhaps harder. But she wanted more. She wanted to be the best, not just good, or excellent or even be the best her mentor had ever seen. She wanted to be the best... period.
Something told her the Zephyrus would be a great place to start that journey. She was curious, though, who else she would find to help her way to that great pinnacle.

Zephyrus
Zephyrus had managed to get a fragmentation of restless sleep. He tossed and he turned in his bed, horrid thoughts burned in his brain in the form of violent dreams. Faint memories played through his dreams, the day he lost everything echoed through his mind like a blistering ball of energy.
'Don't do anything stupid boy, I adore you too much....'
His eyes sprung open and he exhaled deeply. He rubbed his face with his metal hand and got up. He pulled a black shirt over his scarred up torso and opened his door and to his surprise was his apprentice. The rage in his eye remained from his bad dream, he wasn't his normal charming self. "Yes?" he asked somewhat distracted as he was ready to put his emotions to use in the training grounds.

Sahra
She had found his aura, but something was amiss. The rage and anger in him was more amplified that yesterday. As she raised her hand to knock, the door flung open and a rather upset looking Sith stood before her. The energy that rolled from him was almost palatable. She bit her lip about to make some excuse to go when it dawned on her this was what had drawn her down here. “I want to practice... And something tells me you need something more than rocks to fling around.” There was no timidness in her as there had been yesterday. She had had her 'trial by fire' and come out alive, though not wholly unscathed. But Sahra wasn't one to let a few burns stop her.
She drew on her own anger and let it flare in opposition to him as she stood there looking into the eyes she had briefly seen yesterday. As she felt him ponder the idea she added, “And I am not scared of you. Not anymore.” The sternness and sincerity of the comment was obvious. She was not going to leave without his affirmative answer. Raising in eyebrow in query, she looked him unwavering in the eyes and awaited his response.
If he looked at her with his eyes, he would see a stubborn woman, space bent on being the best. If he looked at her with his senses though, despite the desire and defiance to the urge to flee, her aura was wavering slightly. Bravery was hard won, but she was giving it her all in trying to show him she was not the weakling he predicted her to be in the courtyard upon her arrival.

Zephyrus' eyes flicked over to hers, "You aren't afraid? Really now?" he asked as an arrogantly sinister chuckle came from his inner being. He grabbed her delicately around her throat and backed her up against the adjacent wall. "I never asked you to fear me girl." he growled intensely. His face came closer to hers, "Though perhaps you should fear me... the things that I am capable of doing to you..." he paused allowing her to think about it as he squeezed a little tighter not enough to rob her of air but enough for her to think he was capable. "Don't get too comfortable...." he said removing his hand from her neck.

Sahra
The involuntary squeal that popped from her lips as he grabbed her was swiftly silenced. As he spoke of fearing him, she nodded slightly in understanding. As he dropped her, she clenched her fists to resist the urge to rub her throat. Coughing once, she nodded to him. “I merely meant yesterday, what happened. I know it's a stupid comment, but I trust you. You won't kill me unless there is no hope left within you to see ANYTHING redeeming in me. And right now, I am betting my life there is still something here.” She thumped her chest and stood taller. “You aren't the kind of man to waste your energies on me if there wasn't.” The last comment wasn't a question, but a clear definitive statement.
I don't get comfortable. She thought as he spoke. She merely waited to see what he would do next.
She dared to push the subject. “Zephyrus... why do your eyes change, and your aura, when this 'other' rage takes you? Is it something that will happen to me as well? When I am better at my controlling the Force around me?” She knew something inside him had changed yesterday as he had drawn on deeper power. But she hadn't realized it was her blood that had flipped the switch, or that it was rare to him alone. She only knew that she had to learn what it was in order to understand it not just in him, but in others if she happened upon it... or in herself, should it ever occur.

Zeph
His tongue ran over his teeth. He hadn't expected to be asked about that. "That had never happened to me before if you must know." he turned around and went back into his room. "Can I offer you anything?" he asked pointing to a chair in the corner and opening a bottle of Thirus Stout and taking a swig. He then placed it on his desk in the corner. "You met one of my inner demons yesterday... the man who still haunts me even after I killed him. Now how does that make you feel?"

As he went back in his room, she took a step forward. She expected him to grab a weapon and come back out. When he offered her a drink, she nodded stepping into his room. “Whatever you are having.” She smiled. When he said it had never happened before, she closed the door behind her and headed for the chair he had motioned to. Sitting down she watched him move. The fluidity was graceful. Some would say like a dancer, but the cliché didn't fit. It was more like a hunting cat.
“Like we are two of a kind. I have a man, one I didn't dominate well enough. He almost …” she dropped her gaze to her hands as the image welled up inside her. Taking a deep breath she shook her head as if trying to clear the image. “He hurt me pretty bad.” Clenching her fists resisting the urge to reach for the clothing covered scars, she swallowed down the pain and let the rage ride to the surface. The occurrence stabilized the Force around her that had wavered as she had been pressed to the wall moments before. “Destru... you once said that I was to find the flaws, the weaknesses in my Masters, and exploit them. To me a weakness can become a strength. I point this one out to you so you can use it and harness that power the next time it overtakes you.” She thought for a moment before rising and walking over to the window.
Clasping her hands behind her back, she stared out at the slowly wakening landscape. “What made it happen yesterday? Do you remember?” Her voice was barely a whisper. She tried to reach his mind with her words and thought. She didn't know what had caused the change yesterday. But she had to learn what it had been... so did he if he didn't know. She kept her back to him, something he would have said was foolish. But all her senses were on him. She could feel where he was in the room. He had used his aura to teach her, and his had flared on her in the hallway. She was learning to read it and its changes. She may not understand what the changes were or what they meant, but she knew them when they occurred now.
