Sahra
Sahra had been here nearly a month now and her practicing was becoming easier and easier. It was about time for her to face her tests. She had had a single spar, it was a draw so she had chosen not to speak of it. Tonight she would go to the gathering establishment and seek out a partner. But for now, the rocks, branches and practice lines on the abandoned courtyard were sufficient.
As her body moved in precision to the practice of Force Speed and Force Pull, anyone watching would see a woman spiraling in an almost balletic display of motion as she dodged the rocks she pulled at herself and bent and spun with her sword to swat and slice at those that she chose needed more attention. Each time she missed, or a rock hit her, she would growl, refocus her Force power and begin again. She never eased up, in fact, every round got seemingly more and more difficult.
As she moved she hummed an almost haunting lullaby style tune. It had no real rhyme or reason to itself, other than to rise and fall in time with her motions. There was no discounting she had skill and talent. The question was, how much... and how sustainable?

Ataulf Caustic
Ataulf generally kept to himself, he had been in the academy for months and only showed his true abilities in short spurts. His general formula was to arrive, show people there was a void, and leave. Something was different this time though. There would be more bodies for his body count, no one was safe if they were on the same rank as he was. No one had seen the last two victims since he had his way with them and truly it did perplex Ataulf as to where they went... though it didn't matter much.
*Hak*Hak* Ataulf coughed.
He was walking through the courtyard when he had come across a face he had not seen before. He looked her over a moment but said nothing. He watched her movements but found nothing too special about her.
Humming?
He shook his head, "What's the order coming to?"
He thought out loud yet proceeded to walk as if nothing was wrong.

Sahra
She felt the difference surrounding the man behind her long before she heard or saw him. She was drawing from so much around her his presence was like a stone thrown in the Force who's ripples affected her own aura. As he coughed and commented on her humming, she narrowed her eyes and frowned. “Perhaps more of a 'if you can't say something nice',” she moved a rock from her vision line of him, “'then perhaps you can hum'....” She laughed mockingly and went back to humming, this time something a touch more sinister and definitely loud enough for him to hear.
She started pulling the rocks to her once more and hit several off aimed slightly to Ataulf's side. She was not rude or crude enough to aim at him, per se... just wise enough to show off that she could if she wished it.
She ignored his passing and went back to her practice, speeding up the moves and the rocks as they got slightly bigger in size. By now the stones she had begun with were more like fist sized rocks. The strain was a bit more, but she was learning to relax and not consider size as a problem within the exercise.

Ataulf
She was luck to hear him speak at all. Ataulf was more the doing... no rather the destroying type. Ataulf looked down at the rocks near him. He leaned down and clasped his fingers around one of them. "This is all you have?" he asked unimpressed. "Do you even belong here?" he asked with a sneer wondering what she would be humming about. "What do you have to be humming about? I imagine it's only a weakness for you." he pondered inquisitively.

Sahra smiled. “Ever tried to concentrate and hum, or are you just the hack and bash type?” She set the point of her sword on the toe of her boot and smiled almost sweetly at him. “Perhaps you can't muster thinking and bashing at the same time. In which case I can see why the humming would so elude you that you wouldn't comprehend it.” She used the humming to keep her mind preoccupied on more than one thing. It was easy to lob rocks, or run fast even, when you were concentrating. But what if you were trying to cloud your mind at the same time? Not everyone could do it. She was sure Destru could, she had often felt his mind wandering during their lessons, but his concentration never faltered. She knew she could learn to do more than muse on other topics while teaching. She wanted to master clouding her mind, or even forcing someone else to think other things while she was fighting them.
She watched the monster before her laugh and smiled sweetly still. “Oh, or perhaps you are merely the talking kind... you know... yak yak yak...” She picked her sword back up to the ready and began lifting the slightly larger stones around her. “Remember, those who can... do.” She knocked a stone easy off projection as it came at her. “And those who can't... make fun of hummers.” She laughed so openly this time that a couple rocks wobbled slightly in their trajectory, but she swiftly caught and righted them before continue her dance as her self inflicted barrage of earthen bullets assaulted her.

Ataulf
"Heh heh heh heh.... so you think you're bad huh?" he chuckled in a sense of his dark humor looking her over with his good eye. "You think throwing around little pebbles makes you anything better?" he sneered, "Huh?! Do you think you're better than me, human?! Just because my skin has rotted because of your greed..." he was an angry individual, so much hate coursed through his veins, "You pompous arrogant girl... I should make you flinch in my presence." he said getting closer to her.

Sahra
His steps towards her gave her pause. It's not that he didn't roll with power, she had felt that off others before. It was that it was him. Plain and simple. She couldn't focus enough on his aura to see what the difference was, but something about the Force around him seemed more warped and dark that most she had come across.
“I don't flinch easily.” She lied, then swiftly smiled and curtseyed with mocking regality. “But I can vomit if you would feel better at the attention.” Smiling she rose and took another involuntary step back. Something inside her growled in rage at the slow retreat, but her own life's reflexes told her she was bating a hunting cat here... and that wasn't wise.
But no one had accused her of being overly smart, so why start now?
