Darth Destru/Zephyrus
Zephyrus called upon one of his more enjoyable students via one of the servants running about their rather small empire... while he had been rather busy with other things he had been seemingly neglected his duties as a mentor. She had constantly come to him searching for more answers and she was dedicated to her craft. She was cunning so he was sure she would pick up on the wisdom he had to provide her quickly, and while he knew one day perhaps she would be a challenge to him... she was rather loyal for a sith.
He kneeled in the grass between four worn pillars in the darkest of robes. The days were growing shorter and the breeze was getting cooler. He awaited her arrival yet strengthened his mind through his own meditation... he was not one to take on a project that would waste any time.

She smiled as she stepped out of the Keep and headed for the pillars that were her training space for this lesson. She had mastered, at least she hoped she had, the run-fetch lesson Zeph had set before her last time they worked together. True, he had often demonstrated, explained or assigned her other things in the last few weeks, but he had seemed too busy for a formal lesson lately. She didn't truly mind... he was her Mentor, one does not press.
Besides, in Drake, and in Daniel, she had learned other things. She would have to remember to bring those up after their lesson if he allowed it.
Stepping to the edge of the stones, she saw him kneeling in concentration. She paused a moment, knowing he would be aware of her proximity, and studied him. His aura was powerful. She could see and feel the Force in him, around him, charged thru him ready to wield his thoughts at his beck and call. Not unlike the last time they were together. Unlike last time, though, she also saw other things... just like the saying of 'eyes in the back of the head', she could sense a 'testing' of the space behind him, closer to her, as if it was always seeking what would come up from behind. Is this how he would know she was there even if she was extremely silent? She stepped a bit closer and sent a bit of her own Force Sense towards him. She watched almost imperceptive moments in the currents between them and awaited what would happen when her own 'seeking' met his 'seeking'....

Zephyrus' mind twisted and turned through a roller-coaster of faded images amid memories of things that were and thoughts of things that had come to pass. His mind raced trying to decipher the messages brought to him, and yet he felt the the smallest brush of wind through the blades of grass on the field... he was aware of his student's arrival but remained focused on his own thoughts.
"There is a spot for you at my side." He spoke but did not move anything other than his lips, he was stoic and statue-like. "Are you prepared for my teachings?" he asked her coolly.

She felt his aura as she touched with her own, but as she was not attacking, it didn't surprise her that all he did was acknowledge her presence. “Always, Darth Destru.” She stepped into the clearing the rest of the way, reined in her power and built it to usable levels around her. Moving to his left side, as she had not earned being on his right that she was aware of, she knelt and matched his position. Closing her eyes she allowed herself to feel what she had previously seen around her by way of the Force and its movements in and around the training ring.
It was similar to having mental radar in that she could sense the blockage of her senses where his body sat. She also felt the blockage at each pillar. She had been practicing and knew that she would feel another entering the ring, as well as motion from her mentor.
Sitting in silence, awaiting his command, attack, or instruction, she felt her body relax... but was still coiled within herself with hopes that she wouldn't embarrass herself or his teachings by being caught off guard.

He was still unmoving but watched her aura move to his side.
"Do you recall the Book of Destru, Sahra?" He asked her calmly, it was a rhetorical question of course she would remember it he had made certain to tell her not to forget the rules it contained. "Tell me, which rules did I share with you and additionally what did they entail?" He was testing her. She was one of his more valued students for a reason, now it was her time to prove it, but if she couldn't.... it would not bode well in her favor. While maybe her life did not depend on it, her livelihood possibly did. The rules were in place for a reason.

After a moment of quiet she hard his question. It wasn't hard to answer, she had written them down when they had finished that lesson and she read them every day.
“Your rules were given to me, though only rules one and four. Rule One was to always make the Master feel superior even if he was not. To lull him into a false sense of power is to make your own destiny. Rule Four was to keep your words yourself, whenever possible. The more you say, the more common and less in control you appear.” There was no sarcasm, no lilt to make it as if she were showing off, merely reciting like a school child the lessons she had been made to memorize.
She spent the interval between them to send tendrils out to various corners of the training ring to test the Force power there. She came to realize there was a different 'feel' to each section of the training ground. It was as if it had been set up that way. Or perhaps whoever was here last had disrupted the patterns to the extent that they hadn't resettled yet. Or, perhaps... Zeph had disrupted them before her arrival...
She pondered the options and tried to see if power had a 'feel' or 'taste' to it that would let her recognize when another user had been there. Perhaps she could use such a skill to eventually track a person, or read a location for former occupants. She let her senses wander but remained tuned to Zeph for when he spoke again.
