Llewel Pindragin
Llewel arrived at 0625 to receive her uniforms and gear. Going thru the line with the other new recruits, she had a perpetual grin on her face. Not cocky enough to get her noticed or in trouble, just there enough to keep her in a jovial mood. Silent as ordered thru the line, she was just as glad not to chat with the others. This was her time. And she didn't really want to share it.
After moving off to her barracks room to settle in and change, she finished placing her hair in a neat plaited coil just off her collar and under her cover, and ran her hands down the front of her crisply laundered uniform. No creases being seen, she double checked the shine on her boots and departed for the training center.
Arriving just before seven, she noticed she wasn't the first one there, but certainly number two or three at the most. Having seen over a dozen at the supply station, it pleased her that she had come so soon. Moving to the officer with the clipboard, she gave her name and rank then went to stand with the other two awaiting their training. One was there to become a medical technician, the other wanted to work on vehicle line. She said she was just as happy to be going to the field, and left it at that. As the others began to file in, everyone slowly separated and in silence awaited to be called.

There is currently an urgent matter I must attend. We are striking at the Imperials at one of their core worlds. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to be at your roll call. However, the last ship to the Republic fleet at Rendili will leave at 0800 hours from Darklighter Bay. If you can catch that one, you can find me on the Akatsuki", and tag along for the battle. The best training is through observation at times. You'll be my understudy for the upcoming attack.
Hurry. The attack will begin soon.

Llewel
Llewel felt the comm-link in her pocket vibrate and frowned. She didn't know anyone here. Why would she be getting an alert. Stepping casually to the back of the room, she opened the link and keyed her code to read the incoming message.
“Rendili...” she gasped out loud. A man in front of her turned to see what the problem was and she swiftly keyed the link off. No point in advertising that she wouldn't be doing pushups, serving officers their lunch or cleaning places where normally cleaning bots would take care of things. She was going to the proverbial 'front lines'... only it wasn't proverbial anymore.
Moving quickly back to where her pack was, she headed for her room, repacked all she had placed away, cinched the sack up and headed out. Clearing herself with the mustering officer, who didn't do much but nod, she headed for the port. She had about 30 min. She should make it in time to get a good stimulant drink before boarding so she wouldn't be fatigued when she arrived. She was glad, now that she had turned in early the night before. It never occurred to her she would be doing more than menial tasks, but she had wanted to be in shape.
Settling into her seat, she smiled. She wasn't the only uniformed person on the flight and it made her feel more at ease. Plenty had her rank, though the uniforms were well worn in. At least rank wouldn't be an issue to raise alarms either. Sure, she was probably the crispest uniform there. But there was no telling if that was cause she had a new uniform on or was a fresh recruit.
She just hoped no one would ask.
__
After quite a flight, and a nice nap, she landed at Rendili. Stepping off the transport along with the others, she looked around and found an attendant. After quick directions, she was soon moving again and within a mark or so, was stepping onto the Akatsuki. Settling her pack into position once more, she looked around for Excapus or someone she could report to. Everyone was bustling around and no one took particular notice of her. She would give it another minute then would find someone of rank to report to.
