Having sent for Pali he waited, his fingers playing over a little tapestry, one of the many gifts from the wood elf nation since their fall. Staring at it for the briefest of moments he snarled and ripped it down, Taking out a silken handkerchief he wiped off his hands, dropping it to the floor atop the tapestry. Shaking his head he tossed back some hair that fell to his shoulders with his outburst, his mumbled whisper was more a growl as he stepped to the window, his boots ringing on the hardwood floor," Ferae they called him!" and with those words he spat, his eyes staring to the street below where vendors sold goods and people rushed to buy things, settling upon the library of the city.
She saw the tapestry come down and sighed as the kerchief landed on it with all but a spit from his lips. As she took a step in and his growled whisper reached her ears she paused and closed her eyes a moment. She smiled at the tapestry on the floor. Ferae had made sure it was hung in here as a reminder to his brother of his victory. As Thos'vyr growled about the new title his brother had won, it took all she had not to laugh. Stepping in and stopping at the edge of the fallen tapestry she spoke. "Mlord, you sent for me? Oh my, your lovely tapestry. Servants never seem to hang things properly. Here, let me get it." She bent down about to retrieve it. Her autumn hair cascaded over her shoulder and half hid her face as she kept the smile from her lips and her riding tunic and breeches whispered softly as she moved. The soft blue green colors complimenting her skin and hair like leaves in a forest.
Turning he looked to Pali, brushing back once more wisps of deep brown hair, his eyes were soft as he looked upon her form, bent over and curving in that way. Walking over quickly he adjusted the ornamental sword he wore, few knew the thing didn't even hold a blade. Crouching down he took hold of her hands, His eyes of soft brown looking to her's as he spoke softly, " Don't dirty your hands on such things, we have servants for such menial tasks." Standing he held her hands in his own soft fingers. " My how the autumn catches within your hair in this light, and how I wish that I might be a leaf to lay within such an autumn" His eyes looked to her's, his face so feminine it held none of the harshness his brother held, his eyes flowing with both lust and adoration.
She couldn't help it. She felt the heat of crimson blush her cheeks. Stepping back as she released her hands from his she managed a soft laugh, but it shook slightly with nervousness. "You flatter me, mlord. What would the ladies of the court say to hear you utter such things to a half blood?" Her half royal, half common mixings were often the tittering of the ladies of the court as she wandered the halls by right of birth... just barely. She side stepped him and went to the window to look out. "I had forgotten how nice the view was from here. So much more alive than the window view to the gardens." She hated seeing the sedate gardens all the time. Sometimes she would sneak into the rooms overlooking the courtyard and practice yards beyond just to watch the places she could not be save for the stolen lessons with the Weapons Master late in the evenings and before all others awoke. She was to be a mage. A mage to light fires when no one else could and aide the King and royals in times of need with minor healings and such things anyone could do, but wasn't trusted too. In secret, she wanted to wield a sword and make a difference. That, too, was worth a gossip line or two in the afternoons among the women with whom she shared her meals with.
Watched her step from him though seeing the blush he felt he'd gotten through that avoiding exterior not. Moving swiftly to not lose the edge he moved, his eyes remaining on her face as he leaned against the window frame she was near, his eyes watching over her features. This was but a small library, one of the nobles, it was filled with little journals and maps, many of which Ferae was working to detail more as were many of the other diplomats. Looking over her face he reached out to touch upon her cheek as he whispered, " Tell me Pali, why do you want so much to work with weapons and barbaric things? Your blood matters not, there is more then enough noble blood within me to cast asunder the unfortunate parentage." He was referring to the master of arms, he'd allowed the toying for a time figuring it was but a hobby. Though the last reports were disturbing to him, she actually was trying to wield a blade, was actually seeking lessons in private.
