Liz exhaled seeing the lightning stop and closed her eyes as she heard Jack hit the ground and curse at Tal.
Was it really over? "Taalllll....." her voice was so far gone now it was barely a whisper as tears fell down her cheeks. Where was he? She whimpered as she tried to get up, barely making it to her hands and knees. The pain was nearly unbearable and she felt the darkness slowly descending to swallow her into oblivion. "Tal.." She closed her eyes, leaning her nearly prone body against its frame as she grit her teeth.
War with the Sith... what had Jack begun....
They needed to get away while they had the chance.

Yes... it's finally over. -Tal thought to himself.-
-He stood firm; feeling only as exhausted as the sith who laid before him. Very much so Tal could kill him off right here... right now. But the blond mandalorian had more pressing matters to attend to. Mainly getting Liz out of here. That was the whole reason why he came here in the first place. He had to rescue Liz from this sith madman who threatened not only her life, but his life as well. Yellow eyes moved over to Liz who seemed to struggle to move closer to him. As quickly as possible; Tal moved over and kneeled next to her. His hand landed on hers for a moment; Jack's words echoing through his head.-
"You two may have won this time..." -He said catching his breath slowly,- "...but just know...this...means...WAR!"
War with the sith....
-He moved in closer to Liz cradling her in his arms and slowly stood up. Water now dripping down mixed with blood; Tal's yellow eyes landed upon the mad sith clown. War was the last thing he wanted, but then again he had commanded an army that was at war with the Sovereign Galactic Empire. Not like that was any different. Moving through the water with Liz in his arms he paused for a moment and turned back to Jack.-
"We shall see, Jack..." -Tal responded calmly.- "Oh we shall see..." -Finally he turned back around and finally left the room and now hopefully this world. His footsteps echoed calmly through the building they were in. Tal, himself, had a small limp in his right leg; but it was nothing that really bothered him all to much. As he walked yellow eyes gazed down upon Liz who looked like she was fading in and out of consciousness.- "Don't worry we are leaving... you are safe now."

When Tal turned with Liz and told him that he would see he then half smirked and threatened him barely shouting as the Mandalorian left, "Whatever...ship...your on...I WILL...FIND YOU! I..WILL...DRAG IT...TO THE...GROUND!"
As Jack lay there still trying to catch his breath his red eyes blinked. Although he was starting to catch his breath, he knew he'd exhausted himself. Blood, sweat, and all that were oozing out of him. His vision blurred and the clown knew he'd lose consciousness. All in a matter of time he knew. The fists of the mad clown clenched and a few moments later his eyes closed. Breathing went shallow and all that water still poured into the room. As the two NR members left the three Disciples flooded into the room, neither concerned with the Mando or Liz, more concerned with Sith Knight Jack Sheetai. Who had convinced them that he would show them things that they would only imagine doing.
Rushing to his side they picked up their comrade and took him outta the room. They carried the Sith Knight to the medical bay wondering if the mad clown was either dead or near it. No, he wasn't dead yet. Neither would he experience that again. No, he was in a state of unconsciousness. Drifting off into a dream state. When he would wake up was up to him. In days...or a week. Just depended on him.

Liz managed to hear a body drop into the water as she fight to stay away. Her mouth and mind screamed for Tal, but nothing but a whimper feel from her lips.
Then she saw Tal stumble towards her and she was suddenly grateful she couldn't make a sound, because as he lifted her to cradle her against his body, there want a single piece of her that wasn't in pain. Unable to even wrap her arms around him, all she could do was last a soft kiss on his neck as the night finally broke over their heads as they emerged from underground.
When Tal murmured reassurances that he had her, and they were safe, she finally allowed the night sky to reach down and swallow her. Her final whisper before succumbing to the darkness of pain was barely audible, "Thank you...don't leave me..."
She had vague moments of lucidity and thought she recalled Republican soldiers meeting them on the streets. She remembered Tal strapping her onto a bed of some kind.
And as here disappeared from her view as someone's give reassured her she was safe, she passed out for the last time as ice cold numb shots coursed up her neck and down her arm. And someone above her whispered, "Poor dear...let her sleep..."
