-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feb. 6, 2007
Orbb remained crouched, his soft white hair flailing in the breeze, his cloak drooping over the branch slightly as he remained balanced in silence. Sniffing the air he scented his prey, the quiver and bow about his shoulder not being reached for, this little bandit wasn't the hunted really, just the one leading him unknowingly. Looking down to his branch he touched the trunk of the tree, fingers caressing the grains of the bark.
Beth paused a moment and closed her eyes. She knew this was Vlad's home... but he wasn't here... She moved into the trees feeling her way as her eyes opened. Her mind and body felt his land and knew it was not far to his Keep. She only hoped she would find him. The sword on her back seemed forgotten as she walked with stealth thru the undergrowth, her care and silence surprising to any who would see or hear.
The vortex of shadow caught his senses; though he could not wield it he had a sense for unnatural events. Looking to the direction of the disturbance, he saw movement through the foliage. Gripping the branch he looked about, jumping towards the next tree in that direction, the slight rustle making no noise that would sound beyond the breeze settling into the leaves. Squinting violet eyes he watched the stranger, his fingers undoing the tether that held his bow to his back. Slipping it around as his other hand drew an arrow, the bandits would wait. Listening he heard little noise from the intruder, and this wasn't going to go unnoticed.
She paused again near an older taller tree. Her hand lifted and pressed to it. Shifting her hand only to the mist of the Chaos Knight's true form, she let it slide just under the surface of the tree. A soft murmur of ancient words would tell her Vlad hadn't roamed this section of wood in many decades, but the tree did remember him. She withdrew her hand and shifted her course slightly to steer in a more direct line to the Keep. Her soft eyes and hair framing a near-porcelain face giving her an almost light glow in the fading evening light.
Kept his arrow notched and watched as she directed herself towards him and the keep. Furrowing his brows he watched her move through the shrubs. Shaking his head he uncoiled a rope from his hip, looping it carefully before dropping it to the ground, The slack causing the rope to hug near the tree, his fingers holding the rope as he watched her steps carefully.
She stepped forward slow and easily touching each tree she passed as if letting their memories guild her forward. She moved with slow deliberate steps as if purposely keeping silent to hear what her mind was seeking. Softly she whispered in the twilight. "Oh Vlad... where are you?"
' Mine!' his mind screamed as he slid from his branch as she stepped within the loop, her the rope tightening around her leg in one swift movement to twist and raise her from the ground as he dropped to the next branch down.
As she was suddenly yanked up, her back hit the ground and her head hit next before yanking her into the tree. She was stunned enough not to think of shifting to mist and escape as she cried out. "WWHHAAAAA" She closed her eyes and hung there a moment trying to clear her head.
One quick knot was made around the branch he landed, as he slid from the branch to the forest floor, his bow and arrow still notched. Landing with a soft thud and the creek of wood and a bow sting, his timing and aim exacting as he took aim at her chest, her form spinning on the axis of the rope as he spoke in a deep tone, the hood hiding much of his features, the violet glow of his eyes from the light reflection, and white hair giving away nothing really, " You will tell me what you're doing here... these are not your lands" His tone a growl, disguised and careful to hide his accent.
She let herself twirl deciding to stop it would tip her hand. Palms open she tilted her head seeking to see her captor somewhat in an upright way she spoke softly. "I am Elizabeth Rh'Jod... I come seeking Lord Vlad. He has been missing and w...his friends are worried." She didn't know who this was but it took everything she had not to become combative. If he was on these lands and this angry at her being here, maybe he could help.
Shook his head slightly, his hood swaying only a little as he spoke, “No Madam Rh'Jod.... someone seeking someone would not move with the stealth of an assassin on his properties. Your dialect says more, you are not of this continent or plane I don't believe. Who sent you Madam Rh'Jod?" The bow moved only with her sway, his stance still crouched showing nothing, no twitch or quiver of strain was shown as he remained.
"Call me Beth." She kept her hands away from her sword still deftly hitched to her back and silently berated herself for wearing a cloak for as the spin slowed, it began to shield her captor from her eyes more often than not. "I come to see Lord Vladamere Pendragon. I am ..." she sighed. The truth was something she had to risk, Vlad was needed. "I am from another realm, yes... And I am a Knight from that realm seeking Vlad because he has not contacted us in a long time and we ... and I am worried."
Slowly stood, his head shaking once more “Return to your kingdom Madam Rh'Jod... there are no alliances with your accent to my knowledge, and for one to speak such a title on him states he was there long ago. Go home and state that is gone from the lands." Raised his bow in one swift motion, piercing the rope and dropping her to the ground.
Giving up on courtesy, as he shot the rope, she shifted to mist only to re-shift and solidify standing before him. Her hands remained up and she looked at him. "Does Vlad know those who protect him will dismiss so easily because of accent? I have the gift of empathy and have felt him. Something is WRONG and whether you like it or not, I am not leaving till HE tells me he is no longer coming back." She straightened and let her hands drop, her chin rising in pride as she spoke. "I am a Chaos Knight of the Realm of Chaos. That place between shadows and darkness. And I was taught by Lord Vlad himself to never forsake my gift. And as it is HE that I feel in pain, I will not be deterred so easily." She tilted and inclined her head respectfully and never reached for her blade, but she also never let her eyes even blink as she watched him for signs of another arrow in the way of coming to play again.
Orbb smirked slightly, his bow being slung over his shoulder. Looking her over slowly he again shook his head, “I knew the accent Madam Rh'Jod. I dismiss you for many reasons, many my own." Slipping his hands to his cloak he pushed the cloak open and aside showing his twin scimitars as a show of arms. “I suggest you leave and don't make such claims about not leaving without seeing him, you hold no power in the realm of Wallachia" Moving forward he walked towards the castle, his steps deliberately noisier then he naturally walked.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beth crossed her arms and turned to watch him go then grinned. "How do I know you have the authority to tell me to go? Perhaps you are a poacher on this land. Or better, some spoiled child of a land holder playing 'great protector'?" She uncrossed her arms and took a step towards him.
He swiftly unsheathed his swords, twirling them as he turned to view her. “Perhaps" the greenish glint would show from his blades, his eyes looking to her's, reaching up he unhooded himself showing his Drow heritage, “or perhaps, I am son in law of The Dragon, ruler of these lands and hereby place you in my custody."
She laughed and held her arms out to be bound, teasing him. "Then take me to him for judgment." She smiled hoping he didn't realize he had just walked straight into her way into the Keep. She tilted her chin down and looked up slightly thru her hooded eyes. "I won't resist. Let The Dragon measure and judge me."
He walked around her carefully, a blade always between her and himself, tapping her back with the flat of the blade. “Lead. Turn when I say. Do what I say and I won't be forced to drop you where you stand Madam Rh'Jod." Orbb stood still and awaited her next move.
With him behind her, he wouldn't see her smile as she nodded. "As you wish..... Mlord..." She began walking with her hands finally dropping to her side. She watched the trees, felt the land begin to have more vivid memories. Vlad had been here in the last decade. As she felt that she mentally whispered softly towards the direction they were heading...*Dear Lord Vlad... where are you....*
Following behind her he spoke deeply now, “Turn right now" Following he led her from the lands she'd recognize. They were walking slowly, his blades touching softly on her shoulders to guide her. He was leading her to a land Vlad hadn't walked on in over 100 years, the trees marked with runes and slight hatch marks.

She frowned as the feelings of Vlad got older and not more recent. Seeking the runs she realized this was more ancient lands. She recognized the marks from classes with Vlad. It marked hunting, safe sleeping and dangerous areas. As the marks grew more numerous and the 'memories' of Vlad faded she spoke. "Where are you taking me?"
Orbb walked behind her, his swords tapping from time to time against her shoulders. “You are in my custody; I am impatient now." following behind her he moved with her. His sword slicing a new line over a symbol, if her eyes caught it, it was the sign of safety he had just negated.
She frowned wondering why he would slash a sign and considered it. "You know... if you are going to try and kill me, I would prefer we didn't walk to the next realm to have done with it." She ground her teeth wondering why this was happening. Surely Vlad wouldn't have a family member treat guests this way. She began to wonder just who this man was and a low growl echoed in the depths of her throat.
Slapped hard both her shoulders with the flats of his blade, " We are in Wallachia, now be silent Madam Rh'Jod, or terrible things can happen, and if you growl once more, they will." Orbb smirked. He hated being mean, really, it wasn't his strong suit, but he wouldn't have an intruder on his hands seeking his lord and father in law.
She paused a moment to glance over her shoulder then trudged on. If she didn't get to a destination soon, they were going to exchange more than words. She spoke sweetly as they passed another tree with the safety rune on it and she listened to hear if he negated that one as well. "Yes indeed, Mlord. Terrible things CAN happen."
He didn't destroy the rune as he passed it. The rock formation ahead was simple, though the path workings near the rocks showed travel. Grinning slightly he spoke softly, “Turn left and head towards the cavern" His blades came up her shoulders, the flats laying on them, blades facing in.
She frowned and bit her lip to keep from doing what her instincts were screaming for. Following the path she headed for the cave and paused at the opening. She squinted slightly reaching to 'feel' for anyone or anything else in the cave and smiled speaking. "If you wanted to show me your home, you only had to ask nicely."
“I think so too." He spoke softly, his words coming right after her comment as if he expected it. "Now start going forward, into 'my home' please." Smiling a little he whispered, "You will find I am not the asshole, the buffoon, the scoundrel you think, if you trust me."
She remained silent and bent to duck into the cave stepping left as she went in to give him room, and her eyes time to adjust as she looked around murmuring. "We will see...."
Orbb stopped as she stepped left, his blade twisting slightly to rest behind her at its flat and gave a slight push forward. He wouldn't be trapped in his own place, he wouldn't be tricked and he wouldn't have her anywhere but where he wanted. Twisting the blade as he pushed her forward he said, "Now don't be quick about such things, get further in.”
"I am not taking another step till you tell me EXACTLY what you want of me." She shifted to mist and took a step out of the reach of his blades and faced him. "I believe I have MORE than accommodating. Anything more now would be me being very un-warrior like. And forgive me," she bowed, "but "I" remember my lessons on manners from The Dragon. So I now ask you once more... what do you want of me?" She looked at him but still did not move for her blades.
Orbb chuckled loudly, his grin evident as he moved towards the inner cavern. His blades twisted as he turned his back towards her, the blades now down from his palms. Shaking his head as he slowly turned and say in a wooden chair," I am someone you may have heard of, though I won't be giving you that name just yet. You have been more then accommodating but if you think I am stupid enough to simply walk you to the castle you are sadly mistaken. You move like an assassin, you do many things like an assassin. I should know. I was one for many years. Now sit, pour yourself some tea if you like." Points toward a small fire in the rear with a kettle on, the cave had a small shelf; upon the shelves were books, all hand written and leather bound. A work bench took up a wall, upon it herbs in glass jars, vials of liquids labels with various extract names and a mortar and pestle. “I was never given such lessons on manners, I taught myself. I can be quite forgiving, nice even, but I will not put my kingdom, my lord or my family at risk before knowing exactly who you are and what your purpose is."
Beth crossing her arms she frowned. "So you bring me to your 'rock' and tell me I am to have a cut of tea instead of searching for a man who was my mentor and teacher?" She glared at him and the cave taking it all in. "As to if I am an assassin or not..." she tilted her head, "does your father-in-law teach needlepoint? Perhaps THAT is what I learned from him. Now tell me... where can I find Vlad. He is in pain and in danger and he needs help!" She took several steps towards him in anger. He had taken her further from the lands that remembered The Dragon, not closer, and had caused her to waste more of the day.
Orbb Quirked a brow looking to her as she spoke so insolently. Grinning slightly he watched her knowing full well Drow sight in the dark far surpassed even a chaos knights. Looking her up and down he spoke, his words soft for the echoing of the cave often amplified sounds," Then if he taught you needlepoint, why not go sew yourself a pretty dress or a nice hearth warmer. My lord would summon if he was in need, it is but a thought to him as you are well aware." Raising an arm he held the sword point towards her, his eyes sharp and serious as an eagle’s," Do not approach me with hostility Madam Rh'Jod, you know little of your opponent and it would be unwise. I give you two questions for which I will answer, if they are the right ones I will give you two more.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I know my opponent cares NOTHING for his Lord or he would at least INQUIRE how I believe he is in pain and danger. Maybe you just cannot HEAR him. And I know my opponent thinks little of The Dragon if he truly believes needlepoint is what I know." She reached a finger up and ran it over the blade letting her hand mist and pass over and thru it before solidifying once more unharmed on the other side. "If I truly wanted to spar, then we would. So I will ask my two questions, though something tells me you would not be able to care less if I got a true answer." She looked at him and took half a step closer. "Where is The Dragon?"
Orbb quirked a slight brow, his eyes watching as she misted through his blade, god how he hated that trick. Though he listened and waited just the same, becoming aware of her capabilities with each little move she did. Smiling slightly he looked to her eyes as she asked her first question," First off, I don't believe The Dragon even knows needlepoint; I was just going with your sarcasm. Second, I do care about the dragon but I am more worried about your presence then I am about your belief at the moment. To answer your question, last I heard The Dragon was with the Angel at her manor."
She watched him study her as she did the same of him. So he was with his Lady at her home. Knowing the Chaos Knights had already checked there she listened to her empathy and judged that to his knowledge, that was all he knew. He was telling the truth. She had to think of the right second question to ask. Asking to be taken there was a waste; she knew he was not there. Asking who else would know was also fruitless. She had to find a way to make him see that she was truly here to seek the Dragon because something was wrong. She raised an eyebrow and looked him square in the eyes as she spoke her second question. "Would you like to feel what I feel from him?" He said he was worried about her presence more than her belief. In that she was taking the risk that it was because while he may not believe her... he believed SHE believed it. In this offering he would know The Dragon's feel in her mind and know she spoke truth. She stood stock still and waited his reaction.
Sat there and watched her, he was quiet after her second question. This question was unusual, even strange for an offer. Standing up he crouched down grabbing a bowl. "I don't know if that's possible really. I I am willing to try if you are willing to try a viewing tactic."
She looked at him and nodded. Removing her cloak she tossed it on the end of the bed behind her and turned back to him. "I do not know if I can show you anything... all I get are feelings from him." She looked at him and wondered what he had in mind.
"How do we go about your sharing first? Then we will scrye." Smiling slightly he stood up, his eyes looking her over as he slid his swords within the sheaths. Looking over her once more, his eyes finally found her's.
Laughing softly she held out her hands. "First... you have to trust me." She looked at him then dropped her hands. Moving to the bed, she unfastened her sword and laid it on her cloak. Coming back to stand before him she once more held out her hands, palms up and smiled once more. "The rest is up to you...."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2/7/2007 Beth n Orbb
“How do we go about your sharing first? Then we will scrye." Smiling slightly, Orbb stood up, his eyes looking her over as he slid his swords within the sheaths. Looking over her once more, his eyes finding her's.*
Laughing softly Beth held out her hands. "First... you have to trust me." She looked at him then dropped her hands. Moving to the bed, she unfastened her sword and laid it on her cloak. Coming back to stand before him she once more held out her hands, palms up and smiled once more. "The rest is up to you...."
Orbb quirked a brow, his eyes watching her's as he squinted slightly. “And how exactly do I show that?" he looked her over carefully, viewing each possibility of a weapon, each place of hidden entrapment. Looking over to the bed, and the sword that played upon it, he furrowed his brows a little and returned his gaze to her.
"In holding my hands, I can let you feel what I feel from him. Hopefully then you will know I speak true." Beth stood there, arms out, gazing at him in wonder. Would he slay her? She was unarmed now, it would not be hard, other than she was CK and not easily slain... or could he take a leap and trust her.
Orbb’s teeth grit slightly, raising his hands and laying them upon her palms. Swallowing slightly, his eyes searching her's as he was trying to figure out this game. He kept his hands there, though didn't really like the idea of it. His thoughts for a moment fled to the castle, the empty library, nothing but books, and the specific book he was trying to read on the Chaos customs.
Beth smiled at him then closed her eyes. The feeling of finger dancing along the inside of him head, against his barriers, would be felt. Like quicksilver running on skin. She would not press, but would retreat in invitation for him to follow the touch and link to her mind as it opened for him. If he chose to follow, the first thing he would feel is a friendship that ran deep for her for Vlad.
Orbb’s eyes went wide, as he felt the sensation he swallowed. Ripping his hands away as he felt her withdraw, he backed away. His brows went low and rather upset. Turning to his bench he shook his head, and took up a vial, “Warn me next time, if there is such. I cannot take that, and cannot do that as most can. I am limited in my abilities of such things." Turning to look at her he unstopped the vial and poured a bit into the mortar.
As he suddenly broke the connection, Beth gasped and fell to her knees as if he had been holding her up and let go. Her knees hit the ground, and then her hands as she gasped for air whispering between breaths as her body shimmered back and forth to the corporeal. "I... I am ... ssoorrrryyyyy...." She closed her eyes and hung her head trying to focus once more.
Orbb looked to her and furrowed his brow, crouching down to touch her shoulder softly. “I shouldn't have broken the link Madam Rh'Jod, but if I didn't, it would have hurt far worse." Thinking for a short moment he whispered, “My life was given to me, much as yours was back to you"
"DON'T TOUCH ME!" She shoved him hard and fell back in reaction to the thrust landing her back against the wooden bed frame and a cry fall from her lips. "OOWwww" She looked at him as if he had smacked her. "I... it should have worked... I did it hundreds of times before I di... before I was a Knight. What did you do to me?" Suddenly instead of arrogance, there was true fear in her eyes.
Orbb shook his head again, setting the vial on the workbench he slowly stood. “Nothing, stay here if you like.... I don't suggest you come to the castle." Moving to the shelf he took up two books, both being lists of past victims. Tossing the books to her he spoke softly, “I have 7 more books in the castle not done yet." The books contained the names of not only his victims but their children and wives if they had them. His steps carried him in stealthful silence out of the cave.*
Beth glanced at the book then rose, grabbing her sword and cloak and took off after him. "I haven't found Vlad yet. I am not stopping now." She managed to fasten the sword on her back and cover herself in the cloak once more without missing a stride and she caught up and walked just a pace behind him. "And as to your 'victim' list. Was it meant to impress or frighten me?"
“Neither" Orbb simply said, his strides not slowing as he spoke. Reaching back he pulled up his hood. Sighing as he moved, “It was to show how we are much the same; my life is granted for those deaths, yours for your skills. Now go... You asked what happened...." Turning around he walked backwards and stared at her, “A big fucking spider goddess happened; now go" Turning back around his cloak flared as he walked on.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beth faded and reappeared two steps in front of him solidifying just as he got within touching range. "A spider huh? Know what happened to me? VLADAMERE!" She shoved his chest hard. "He means more to me than even my OWN life as a Knight. And I'll be DAMNED if I leave here because his whining son in law won't help me." She glared at him.
Orbb took a single step back on the shove, his eyes glaring at her. “I don't know where Vladamere is, now get the hell outta my way Madam Rh'Jod." Stepping to the side he began to move forward once more, his eyes going downcast as he spoke, "Perhaps find one of his sons, Medivh or Aramis"
Beth stood there and raised her voice as his back faced her. "ARAMIS is why I am here. He needs Vlad. Something is wrong..."
Orbb shook his head, his eyes looking to her over his shoulder, "Aramis would find him if he needed him. Aramis is strong and careful; he could also go to his mother." Turning his head to the castle's direction once more, he moved on. Reaching down he rested his hands on the hilts of his swords, thinking now in silence.*
"He can't go to his mother. He killed her brother." She waited to see if it would sink in as she began to pace him walking the same pace, just far enough behind him that his sword would miss if he suddenly swung at her.
Orbb shook his head, reaching into a pouch within his cloak. Tossing a stone down onto the ground in his path, he vanished beyond it, the stone cracking as he did so. If she wanted to push fine, if she forced to push to the castle he'd be waiting, enough was enough.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2/8/2007 Beth meets Medivh
Growling, Beth shifted and used the feel of the land to find the Keep. It dawned on her as she was got closer that if Vlad lead the CKs there would be a portal she could acess. She smiled and touched the medallion that linked her to such places and faded between the planes hoping to come out within the Keep.
The winds softly kicked up, the heat unbearable and sands flying. The rattle of sticks waving on strings hung distant in the air, the thunk and rattles were almost rhythmic as the smokes of a fire rose in the same direction.
The feeling of Vlad was more then evident; it literally dribbled from the direction of the noise, like overflowing malaises of darkness emanating. The very skies circled with darkness over the area of the noise, the camp circle of wagons was colorful and bright, the people their dancing and playing violins.
Beth misted her sword so none would see it and tugged her cloak around her and silently headed for the circle stopping just outside it to observe and 'reach' for Vlad. Her mind whispering towards his 'feel' "My Dragon... My Lord... I am here..."
A large man stepped from a wagon, his broadness and height exactly like Vlad's though the dark blue cloak was definitely different; the white hair blowing in the breeze also was a contrast. The circle of people seemed to part as he moved through them, his face hidden in slight shadows though he was near the fire in the midst of the circle.
Beth stepped forward and leaned on the nearest wagon edge to watch and listen yet remain hidden as she felt towards the strange man. Something seemed familiar, yet not quite right. She whispered towards the feeling she had before "Dragon, Lord, please... let me help you..."
The feeling of pain would fade swiftly, then in sudden flare would start up once more. The large figure in blue moving once more from the fire to the wagon, stepping up and reaching for the key. The feeling from Vlad seemed to fade like a weakening, and then suddenly flared once more. The large man entering into the wagon, shadows seemed to escape the closed door until it was shut.
Swaggering on her feet, Beth grabbed the side of the wagon and bit her lip to keep from crying out. He was in there. She was sure of it. Shifting to mist she tried to merge with the shadows nearby to see if she could feel him better. She kept speaking to him *Where are you... let me help you.
Medivh felt the disturbance, he moved his hand shot out and gave a shove, the breeze shifting and changing as it caught up the mists and forced them from the wagon. The pain was subsiding now, the pain alleviating and being cured. The large man stepped around from the wagon once more, this time moving towards her as he spoke aloud, " Come out Knight of Chaos, I will see you now"
Beth shimmered and crouched as a solid several paces from the man. She had never felt her mist manipulated that way and it was taking her a moment to center. She stayed in the crouch making it look like a prelude to attack. "Where is The Dragon, old man?" Was all she said as she looked at him and felt for her dear friend.
Med chuckled softly, the shadows fading from his face as the image of youth showed. He wasn't young really, probably late 20's early 30's, his eyes a piercing metallic blue. His hair was silvery white, “I am Medivh, though you are correct in being old. He is safe, and I am his son. You must understand that this will happen every hundred to three hundred years." Smiling softly he waved his hand towards the fire, "Help yourself, I am Raman of this tribe of Gypsies. Take up some food, sup with us and drink of our waters and teas."
Beth rose slowly. She had heard of this son from Vlad but had not known much else. As she walked towards him she glanced at the wagon where she had felt Vlad. "Is he all right? Truly? I have felt his pain for too long and I feared..." She looked down. "I know he has a Lady, but I owe him so much..." she whispered softly. Looking up she nodded. "If you give me your word he is fine... I will not be a bother any longer. I just need to be sure."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Medivh smiled softly and nodded, “He will be fine, this has happened a few times. It is complicated but to be honest, he is going through a rebirth so to speak. Would you like to see him?" Walked back around the wagon towards the door, knowing she was concerned he would allow her to see.
"Pleasee..." Was all Beth managed as she took a step forward. Part of her screamed it was a trap and she was walking right in, but her louder voice was so worried, that she ignored the first. She rested a hand on the door stepping up towards the floor of the cabin. "Dragon Lord?" She whispered and 'felt' towards him with a tentative mind. The concern in her mind was great enough that Vlad would also feel her heart's feelings and worry as well.
Med opened the door and placed his hand on her back showing her, the candles in the far back showing slightly. Vlad was laid out on the floor upon padding, the silken sheets on him, the pillows beneath his head, his hair dull and graying, and his cheeks sinking slightly. His eyes were shut and he was unconscious though the push of darkness was undeniable.
Beth looked to the man who claimed to be the Dragon's son then stepped inside and sat down on her knees beside Vlad. A hand absently went to brush a strand of his hair from his face and she bit her lip and pulled back suddenly as if burned. She should remember her place; she was merely a Knight, nothing more. Looking to Med she whispered softly. "How long will he be like this? He looks in so much pain." Her mind reached for Vlad's, though tentatively because of how close he was.
Medivh listened to her, watching her as she went to reach before she pulled back. “He will be like that for a few weeks. I suggest you..." His words would suddenly fade as if not heard, the roar in her hearing and mind would be almost deafening. The darkness enveloping like a tidal wave as Medivh rushed forth and drug her from the cabin swiftly.
"NOOOoooo ..." Beth fought trying to be free of his grip and cried out as her mind felt about to explode. She couldn't find her center and shift and felt as if she was beginning to drown in blackness. She flailed her arms trying to find something to hold onto and reach Vlad, but also to fight off the grip of Med's hands. "I can't... aahhhh..." She gasped for breaths..."I have to be with him... he's in pain." Suddenly it got too much and she gripped her head crying out unable to fight him anymore.
As Med drug her out, he moved down the steps, the door slamming behind them and clicking locked. “He is very dangerous right now; he will lash out if you aren't careful. And the Chaos Knights that came before wouldn't understand the same, one died because of it." Lifting her like a doll he set her upon her feet. “Let’s get you something to drink,"
Beth nodded to the offer for drink. She had to think. "What do you mean 'the Knights that came before wouldn't understand'?" She sat on the step of the wagon wanting to remain close to Vlad, even if she couldn't be closer to him.
