-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LieAnia Kristi: "Forgive me, but you didn't exactly introduce yourself either." She laughed and made an over exaggerated sweeping bow. It seemed graceful even though she was barefoot in a shirt skirt. "I am Elizabeth Rh'Jod. You can call me Beth if you don't take my head." The name would register in his mind as "Beth Steel" as the tabloids had nicknamed her. Born in poverty, she had risen the ranks with steel nerves and deadly sword swing. She now ruled Atrus Corp because the authorities were scared to see what would happen if she opposed them. "And no, it's not a joke." She smiled. "And if you had come in with them, then you wouldn't have been HERE... in my office. I think you used them to get in and are here for your own reasons. And they don't include spraypainting or bank heists or computer viruses<c LieAnia Kristi: do they?" She nodded towards the window. "Shall I scream? They will come in guns blazing. Or shall I claim you are my... bodyguard and there is no trouble here." She looked to where the chopper hovered, a gatlin pointed towards him thru the crystal clear glass. The gunner already to take aim.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- steel_paradox: Kojiros eyes went toward the heli-gunner at the window then back to Beth. She was quite the Mastermind. He could make a run for the window but he'd probably get gunned down before he got to the fiber glass. He sheathed his katana as he pulled his fingers from his forehead and backwards through his hair. His free hand moving to his hip as his eyes stared thoughtfully at Beth. "I am Kojiro Tanaka. Sometimes called Sho." His name was immediately recognized. He was the famous swordsman who had killed over 1000 men at The Countries last battle of Saine. The only man armed with a sword, he killed armed legions of men as if they where cattle. He had a bounty on his head like no other man, a million dollars and growing by the day. "How do you know I won't backstab you and take the sword for myself?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LieAnia Kristi: She nodded respectfully recognizing the name. This man was just the one she had been seeking. Setting the flat of her blade on her sword on her shoulder, she nodded and began to move towards the window. Laughing at his question, she glanced over her shoulder. "What makes you think I won't stab you in your back and claim the reward?" She nodded and made a simple swift hand gesture to the chopper which careened wildly to the side and disappeared. "Now... shall we see whatchaos is going on elsewhere that your companions have caused?" She swiftly tapped out a sequence and one of the walls slid sideways to reveal a large screen which displayed the security camera views of the lobby. <e>

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- steel_paradox: "Ha, I seem to be the least of your worries." He walked toward the window as the chopper went from sight and turning back toward her- "Very well then, I shall join you. Ill do your dirty work." He looked at the camera and laughed- "Do as you please with them, I care not if they live or die." The cold ruthlessness in his voice was bone chilling, he really didn't seem to care.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LieAnia Kristi: She pressed a button and spoke. "Kill them. And save the big brute for the science team. I want his dna for analysis." Looking at him she smiled. "There you are. My first gift to you." She moved around him letting her body brush against him. "So... now I think I need a drink." As he watched the screens, the chaos would ensue as the lobby was raided by police and riot squad. Gas grenades would ignite and gun fire would be seen, though not heard, as the secretary as well as the group would fall to bullets of steel, as well as technological lazer drops (small bursts of lazer guns meant to shoot holes but not cut lines). Beth walked around the desk and headed for the bar as he watched the others die.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- steel_paradox: Kojiro shook his head as a slight smirk crept on his face. After witnessing his former teams death he followed slowly behind Beth as she made her way to the bar. "So how about feeling me in on your plan, I'm quite sure you must be in dire straights with the rest of your company to do such a deed."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LieAnia Kristi: She laughed as her sword leaned on the bar and she removed her jacket. The black bra strap was all he saw as she reached back to remove an additional back sheath and strap it on. Sliding the thin steel into the holder, she replaced the jacket and shuddered to let it all settle. Pouring herself a drink she turned to lean on the bar and semi cross her arms smiling almost wickedly. "What makes you think I am in dire straights with my company? Perhaps I want someone of your skill on my team so when others get such grandious ideas of coming in here, I am safe?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- steel_paradox: Kojiro placed his elbows on the bar counter as he watched Beth pour herself a drink everthing about her screamed provocative, but he knew how to maintain his composure around gorgeous women. "Ineed, you could be right." His chuckled as he placed his chin atop his fingertips and looked into her eyes.- "When was just happened downstairs in the lobby reaches the news, its highly unlikely that anyone will breach this establishment in the near future, which is why I think you have something up your sleeve."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LieAnia Kristi: She sipped the drink and returned the goblet to the counter. "Well, I hate to say it. But this was the third breech into my building this year. You see, everyone wants to topple the big bag technology. But without technology, there wouldn't half the things we have now." She moved back to her desk and slid into her shoes. It raised her about three inches higher than her 5' 7" height and made her seem less bedroom ready, and more boardroom capable. "And I do have something up my sleeve." She walked over to him once more and smiled. "I want you to steal Excalibur for me." She raised one corner of her satin lips as she spoke and awaited his reaction.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- steel_paradox: His ruby red eyes lit up in startlement as the words left his lips- "What!?" He stepped backwards as the straps from his clothes dangle loosely in the air. "I'm afraid I don't quite grasp what your saying Elizabeth." She really WAS quite mastermind, she seemed to have his position in this ordeal planned before she even met him.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LieAnia Kristi: His face was priceless. Her laughter rang thru the room as a woman came in carrying a silver tray. The girl, pretty in her own right, but not the level of sophistcated gorgeous Beth had reached, paused and almost choked. "Ma'am, here is... oh! I ummm didn't know you had company. I ..." She began to back up as recognition flashed in her eyes. Without realizing she had spoken aloud, she spoke the words barely loud enough but he would hear. "You are Kojiro..." Her face drained of color and she looked about to run from the room.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kojiro cursed under his breath as the young lady grew alarmed of his prescence. "I mean not to be rude love, but if you run away your legs will abandon you before you reach the exit." His attention turned back to Beth- "Perhaps this should be discussed elseware?" He yawned as he glanced at the awe struck woman who was growing ghostly pale.- "Got anywhere we can meet up?"
Turning to see see Andrea about to drop the tray, Beth laughed going to recue the clinking crystal. "I told you it would work, Marcus!" She laughed. "You look just like him." She covered his identity easily. "Andrea, seriously you little twit. Do you think the REAL Kojiro would come here, much less elave me alive if he did. Look" She pointed to the man now standing there. "He doesn't even have a weapon drawn. It is a ruse for a prank on the Govenor for his birthday next year. If it fooled you, I hope it fools him. Andrea, meet Marcus. He is a dear friend of mine." Glancing back at the man she smiled seductively once more. "Aren't you Marcus." Her quick thinking was what had kept her on top. It wouldn't fail her now.
Kojiro quickly caught on and replied- "Of course I'm Marcus, who else would I Be?" He cursed himself as he mentally beat himself up for talking to coldy to her earlier, good thing Elizabeth was a fast thinker. He pushed a somewhat friendly smile out to Andrea and held his hand out to greet her- Ki didn't mean to alarm you earlier, it was just a little practice for my act."
Andrea blushed at the hand and shook it before pulling back swiftly. "It's all right. I mean, you looked like him when I came in. But now I see you aren't. I am sorry." She nodded to Beth as the woman set the tray on the coffee table before the couch. "He does look like him almost. Maybe just not so much up close. I will keep the secret." She nodded to Beth and then once more to Ki. "I am leaving for the night, Maam. I will see you tomorrow." With that she left and Beth turned to Kojiro. "Well, Marcus. How did you like the fact you can't pass for Kojiro up close?" She laughed and leaned on the wall next to the now closed door.
He rolled his eyes at the sheer ignorance of the woman- "its funny how people can convince themselves that their eyes deceive so easily. Its really kind of sad wouldn't you say?" Kojiro laughed- "Who's Marcus if I may ask?"
She laughed. "Well it means most will easily look past you as you are seen more and more with me. What better place to hide than in plain view. Contacts to change your eyes and perhaps a highlight or two in your hair and you can easily be dismissed as a misglance." She leaned back and sipped the goblet raised form the table. Patting the couch beside her, she smiled. "Marcus was the first lover I ever had. He is not alive anymore so there is no need for jealousy will rear it's ugly head."
Kojiro sat down beside her as he crossed his right leg atop his knee and placed his elbow on the couch's arm. "Jealousy? If you mean him being jealous of me, thats a laugh, the reverse might be a little more plausible, but still unlikely." "So what do you plan on doing once I extract the sword for US?" He emphasized that it was about both of them and not just her.-
The comment of him possibly being jealous of the old boyfriend made her smile and realize maybe she wouldn't just use him. "Well, to be honest, the government designed the Excalibur technology to be used for weapons for the military. But the truth is, there is no profit in producing for the one designing. I want to hold the monopoly on it, Kojiro. It was my baby since the beginning and I am tired of being placated. I want the power. And you are going to help me get it." Her eyes bore into his showing that the power of Excalibur and who would wield the powerful technology was not the ONLY power she would be seeking.
"So you had a hand in the design of this weapon?" Kojiro paused as he gathered his thoughts. "You want all the heat on me as you work behind the scenes it seems. Is that correct?" Kojiro perked a black brow at her quizically. There was more to this whole thing than she was telling him, while he appeared oblivious, he was merely gathering information.
"I want people to see you with me so much that it's believed I am not at top efficiency. The next time there is a breach, and trust me, there will be, they will be blamed when Excalibur disappears. There is more profit in the black market for this technology than there is here." She slid her hand across the back of the couch and smiled as her finger tips brushed his shoulders. Her voice dropping just as the timer on the lights kicked off and the softer evening ones came on. "I will make you rich. If you trust me. What you do when it's done is up to you. But it will be easier to do it with cold hard currency than with slinking around in shadows." Before he could react, she rose shrugging and moved to the wall to turn the office lights back on, but twisted the knob so they were low still, but not as dark as the ealier lights. The clock on the wall over the fireplace showed midnight. As she moved away from him, hips swaying she laughed. "And with the techonology here, I could always change your appearance afterwards too, so you will never be recognized." She went back to stand before the window behind her desk.
Kojiro burst into laughter- "I'm sorry love, but "cold, hard currency"?" He chuckled between words- "I really don't have a need for money. I like taking things of my own accord." He scratched his head as he pictured himself with a changed appearance. "Sheesh...can't I just wear a mask?" He whined before changing his frown into a smile- "okay but I'm going to need another form of payment besides money if I'm going to be of your service."
She laughed as he whined. "I am sure we can find a mask if you insist. Just thought it would be more comfortable." Glancing over her shoulder as her eyebrow raised, she smiled. "And what form of payment did you have in mind?" Before he answered, she looked back towards the city below and slipped her jacket off, once more showing him the bra line across her porcelain back, removed the sword and replaced the jacket. The sword was dumped on her chair beside her and she only fastened one button. From the back it wouldn't change the line of her suite jacket, but from the front, he would see more than enough of her womanly assetts above the single linked button and the front of the lace bra.
Tilting his head to the side, his hair fell over his face covering his ghostly eyes giving his otherworldly features precedence. Biting his lip, a hint of his enlarged canines could be seen; although they could be mistaken for vampiric, they weren't long enough to actually be so. "I didn't have anything in mind, at first but now I'm not so sure." He stood up stretching as he walked closely behind her and pressed his lips to the tip of her ears- "If anything, I think ill help you for an interesting time..something about you has my attention. Just don't get on my bad side Elizabeth.."
Her head tilted making a silent offer of her neck, throat and in that, herself. "And don't cross me...." she grinned teasing, "Marcus...." She turned to face him opening a gap about a foot wide between them as she leaned back on the window. The city lights making a glowing arua around her as it was diffused by the safety glassed windows. "I have a dinner party to go to tomorrow night. Potential clients mixed in with the high rank honchos of the city. The Governor will be there as his birthday will also be celebrated. How would you like to accompany me. As my escort and protector?" She nodded to the sword on the chair. "Hard to look as sexy as I will be and still carry steel that big." She laughed and watched to see if he would close the gap to seek some sort of down payment or merely disappear and run off.
Kojiro thought about the offer but was slow to answer- Placing his hands to both sides of her as she leaned on the window he finally replied- "2 questions, what's the address and what would like me to wear madam'?" he smirked; his intentions where hidden, but would have to become known at some point in the near future.
Her chin rose slightly in offering and challenge. "It's black tie. And since you are 'mine' I would expect you to be here in my office by 6. The limo will take us to the party." Her arms went to her sides and pressed against the glass. She wasn't ready to jump into bed with him, not yet anyway, but that still left a lot of room for other things. "I hope you own a tie." She grinned. "What would you like to see me in?"
Kojiro backed away from her as he recessed toward the door.- "I don't own a tie but ill have the proper attire by the time you seem me tomorrow." He opened the door as he thought for a moment and spoke again, an odd glow in his eyes as the words radiated from his lips. "By the way Elizabeth, your body isn't the only form of payment I can think of; your a smart woman love, surprise me."
She smiled. "I am glad we agree." HE was smart. If he had just tried then and there to take her, she would have questioned his intentions later. His resolve not too, raised him in her eyes quite a bit. "And I will surprise you, indeed, Kojiro. Come by at six. There will be a pass for Marcus Din'Cara awaiting you. Don't worry about id. I will take care of it for you." She walked towards him smiling. "And Marcus..." she touched his chest lightly. "Surprise me..." She turned and headed back towards her desk as if he had been forgotten. Though she doubted she would sleep without dreaming of him this night.
