Subject: Temporary Activation of Lieutenant Argona, Kadence E.
As per her contract, as you are aware, Lt Argona is subject to reactivation at any time into her mission status of 'active' within this Division as outlined in the Mission Directives.
As you are circling Risa and the only ship with an Operative on board, Lt Argona is to receive the following orders. She is to contact the target and eliminate him by any means necessary. It cannot be traced back to her, the ship or the Federation. If possible, body is to be disposed of.
Target is due on Risa in the next 24 hrs. Files attached give specifics. Please grant her whatever gear is necessary to fulfill this mission. No further contact or mention of this will be made. This letter is to be disposed of pursuant to proper Ops protocols. Files are to be read, and destroyed. No copies made.
No help is to be given except in dire emergency. And I will allow it to be your discretion who you send in. Assistance with extraction is acceptable as long as not by transporter.
Any questions are to be sent to me directly over security channel Bravo.
Sincerely
Admiral Darnem, Arthur C.

Kadence sighed, looking around her room. This was the first time she had a mission and was leaving someone behind. And Reilly would be clueless. She would just be gone. On a professional level, she was sure he would understand.
On a personal one... would he?
She was dressed in a sleek, blue, sleeveless dress. Her bracelet from Marguerite on her wrist. She wore a cheap gold necklace. If it broke or got lost, it wouldn't be a loss. The hem of the dress barely came to her thighs and her lace up black sandals came up to her knees. The black lacing a lovely stark contrast to her light tanned legs. Like a shadow of some strange lace over her skin.
Her hair was up. Another bauble of a hair stick placed just right that releasing it sent her hair tumbling down her back. Except for a touch of coal colored liner to her eyes a crimson carmine on her lips, she wasn't wearing makeup. She wanted natural, not artificial.
She turned off the lights and sat on her couch with her eyes closed. Her breathing slowed, her body relaxed, the mental checklist of her anatomy and her gear went thru her head. The hair stick was a thin blade. Her bracelet held everything else she needed. There was a comm in her small clutch in the shape and useage of the lipstick she used. Her Federation comm badge was in her desk drawer behind her.
She was ready.
Standing up and tucking her clutch under her arm, she moved to the desk and slid open the drawer. “Transporter room. This is Lieutenant Argona. I'm going to the surface.” She gave the coordinates and to beamed directly there. She pushed the drawer shut and stood up. A heartbeat later she was seeing lights.
She materialized outside the plaza Reilly had brought her to on their first date. She hated it was her starting point, but she knew the people here, and would recognize anyone out of place. The shopkeepers were her tell. They knew tourists and regulars. Anyone suspicious, and they would react. She nodded to a couple folks as they passed by.

The shopkeepers were her tell. They knew tourists and regulars. Anyone suspicious, and they would react. She nodded to a couple folks as they passed by.
Behind her, unknown to her, Alto saw her and smiled. Moving to his office, he sent a message to Reilly stating Kadence was there. And complimented him on his choice, since her attire was obviously to impress him.
Kady saw her mark and her facade changed. She lit up and a smile brightened her face like nothing anyone had seen on her. She moved across the plaza and met him. “David? I'm Andrea. I can't believe I finally get to know you. Derrick mentioned you were good looking but obviously he was unaware of how to do you justice.” She touched his arm as they kissed one anothers cheeks. She then took his offered arm and steered him out of the plaza towards the far beaches.
Less than five minutes later, Reilly would get another message from Alto apologizing that it wasn't Kadence after all. He had been mistaken, having only seen her back before his initial call. The voice on the recording seemed... off. It was late, nearly midnight. Surely the man had been wrong.
An hour later, sandals in hand, feet dancing on the edge of the surf as the tide rolled out, Kadence and David were walking up the beach towards a rocky outcropping. As the tide had receded, a small single large rock made a lovely island and just beyond that, a short swim from shore in low tide, there was another rocky island. Not big enough to do more than hold on to in the calm seas. At high tide, the second island would be nearly submerged. And the first island, several yards from shore and half submerged.
She wiled him, kissed him and slowly they were undressing one another. The talks and promises they had been exchanging via comms for the last three months were played out between them. Kady had been given a copy to study the day before and made sure ever promise, every touch, every kiss was granted him. As the last of their clothes hit the sand above the tide lines, she tugged him to the warm waters, not yet frigged from overnight temperature drops. They swam to the first island and made love against the partially submerged monolith. As the tides receded more, she coaxed him to the other rock. “Not that far away,” she assured him.
Once there, she made love to him once more. This time with enough passion and fever to claim his breath and and a needed respite before their swim back. She held him and he held her. Her hands roaming his body till she brought him back again. And once more, he took her there. But the tide was turning. She kept him occupied as the moon rose. She would watch, over his back and over her shoulder as the water rose to a preset mark she had made on the first pillar of stone. A mark of the tides.
Worn out from several couplings, David was begging for a moment to catch his breath. She wouldn't let up. She cajoled and coaxed him and her skills won out as time and again she brought him with her hands or her body. He was starting to get tired. His body relying more and more on the rock behind him to keep him up. When she had him droopy eyed and exhausted, she moved behind him and leaned on the rocks.
With the water this high, she had a perch for her backside and rested her hips on it. Arms and legs going around David in a full body hug. She kissed and held him as he spoke of her skill...
“Oh, my lovely dove. My water siren. My mermaid. You have sated me as no other has. Please. Say you will be mine and do this every night for the rest of my life!” He was panting out his adoration as, even now, she had managed to raise him again. A pleasure and surprise that left David moaning, with eyes closed, arms risen to caress her wet hair and tiny shoulders. She pulled the stick from her hair and let it tumble over his arms. As he looked back over his left shoulder at her, his entire left side was opened up for her. His arm, playing with her hair, meant a long, lean line, from armpit to hip, was completely unobstructed.
She smiled and kissed him and whispered. “I already have.” Her right arm had grabbed his left wrist as her own left wrist slipped the hair dagger deep into his chest between his ribs. The widening of his eyes and realization of her words made her smile even more. She pulled away as blood filled his mouth and she spat it into the water beside her. A trail of crimson running down her jaw and neck. “And you shall never get to regail your tail of prowess. Though I am impressed, I must say.”
