Wait, did you want ME to YM unholy or what? I fear I was a bit confused by your post....
Alexandra Darkheart Moroveston-Rh'Jod Darius' Daughter Lord Alexander's Niece <<wow, THATS a nice sig line... lol>>> ***

Mmm nice Sig line indeed, I think we should all adopt the practice of signatures to complete our posts. For those who don't know, signatures such as this are required in some rp domains and make a lot of sense once you get used to them. It certainly makes for great clarification of who is who when there are players who are not familiar with established characters, and even for those who are. I'm with ya Mel, Henceforth I am adopting the practice of the signature on all of my forthcomming posts too.

Father's Return (or... the destruction of the North Tower) Alexandra Moroveston- Message 1 of 10 , Jun 7, 2005
<<RPd and posted with permission of all participants>>>
Alexa had gone hunting when Dai'Shar had moved to retire to his rooms. Upon returning she found a man on her steps who handed her a dozen bleeding red roses and introduced himself as Alexander Travos, her uncle and Darius' brother. She offered him entrance and led him to her north tower room as she spoke.
Alexa turned and set the bleeding roses on the window ledge. "A pleasure Mlord Alex. Welcome to the home of your brother, though I fear in its current state, I doubt others will give you such a welcome."
~Alexander nods silently~ "My brother called me back to destroy the clan except those who are loyal"
As she slowly and silently walked towards him with an almost catlike grace, she looked at him as if daring him to lie. The challenge there showed that while a bite of her lip may make her seem timid, she was over 600 years old and not a stranger to pain or combat. "And did your brother, my step-father, tell you I was to fall as well?" She spread her arms as if giving herself up as she stopped three paces from him and looked up into his eyes.
~Alexander looks to Alexandra and smiles~ Young one you have nothing to fear from me....you aren't on my list" "Worry not, you have been loyal and hopefully still are to us, your death won't be dealt by my hands"
"And how will he test my loyalty? Or is it YOU who was sent to do that?" She drops her hands and steps till she can whisper and he can hear, even without his heightened senses. "And how shall you test me to be sure?" Eyes of storms look at him not. Her slightly smaller frame of porcelain looked up with eyes the color of seas after a storm. "And how do "I" know YOU are loyal to him as well?" Her grin was one of challenge as though her normally fragile nature refused to allow her to show weakness.
~Alexander looked at her and smiled~ "The test I will leave up to Brother Darius." "As for My loyalty, ~smirks~ we shall see as time goes on" ~Alexander smiled his ancient eyes showed volumes of untapped power looking at her.~
She watched his power swirl in his eyes and her own silver touch caressed the edge of his mind. It was the touch of a healer.. It was the touch of a healer. Startling perhaps even more than that was the fact that mingled with that healing compassion was a thirst for blood and a Beast as powerful as any vampire over 10 centuries had. If Darius had told him, he would know she had no control of her Beast and it was HIS power that rolled thru the casual mind touch with her own. She whispered and then began to turn as if finished with him. "Yes, I am sure we will..."
~Alexander felt the touch as the Ancient Spirit in him felt the Beast with a power he hadn't felt in a long time.~ ~Alexander knew he would have to watch this one closely, for control was a virtue of necessity.~ "That is a deadly power you possess young one and yet I sense no control over it you have. That can be very deadly you know..."
Before he could finish she reached for her sword, her body swinging as if in slow motion moving her hair from the line of draw and growled low as she turned to face him.
~Alexander watched her draw her sword and growl at him in silence.~ ~Without think Alexander called to his blood Thaumaturgy Path of Weather Control lvl 5 lightning and spent the necessary blood points as the skies outside darkened with black thunderheads...~ ~Alexander raised a hand as a powerful bolt of lightning came to his hand and he looked at her with lightning dancing all over his body.~ Put down your sword or die...His voice thundered with hate and authority...
Alexa's blade was less than a foot from his chest now as she growled. The static of the lightning caressed her body and she shivered but to her credit did not back down. As she felt her own power bristle against his she whispered low not trusting her voice any louder. "And is this how Darius told you to treat me? To insult me and claim without even KNOWING me that I have no control? Somehow I doubt it!" She inched forward slightly pressing in a battle of wills, her shields and power against his.
~Alexander didn't even think he released the lightning bolt and let it strike the blade.~ ~the immense heat from the bolt instantly melted the blade and caused the hilt to explode~ "I treat those like they treat me M'lady." You want a war I will let Darius clean up the pieces." ~Alexander summons two more bolts with out blinking and waits to see what she does his will solid Iron.~ ~His face twisted by pure hatred and fury at the outrage in the aggressiveness of this youngling~
As the blade exploded she cried out as if physically struck and stepped back. While the power still blazed in her, it had retreated some and despite the growl in her voice, there was a color of fear there. She feared the lightning yet was doing her best to hide it. Her Beast crawled to the far reaches of her mind leaving her alone, abandoned with old fears to deal with alone. "Then kill me. KILL ME!" She finally yelled throwing her hands wide biting her lip. "You call me loyal then call me weak. You say you will not slay me and now, here, in my own sanctuary you call down powers I can... Powers to lay me to rest. If you wanted me dead just say so." Her defeat fell into her voice as her hands dropped and she once more stepped up close enough to shiver against the power enveloping him and whispered. "You want me dead... do it. I could not stop you if I wanted too." Her eyes turned flat silver as her caress along his power was now nothing more than the healer within her.
~Alexander hearing the defeat and the fear in her voice snapped his fingers and the lightning disappeared as the discipline dropped instantly.~ ~Alexander looked at her and the smiled sincerely his power radiating with fury and yet he let it drop internally...~ ~young one I do not wish to kill you~ If I wanted you dead you would be cinders M'lady DH."
Lady Darque walked slowly up the dark path towards the large castle. Unsure as to why this night he had decided to seek Darius out, questions swirled constantly in her mind. Maybe tonight she would find some answers to the questions she had carried for years. Glancing upwards she watched lights flickering from a window in the northern tower. A frowned wrinkled her brow in confusion at the display for in all honesty she had no idea what would cause a show like she had seen. Still her quest for knowledge made her continue her pace towards the keep. "I hope I have no confused my directions would hate to come to the wrong place" she muttered to herself. Yet she had never been one to back down even when she was a little fearful.

~I can teach you control if you wish~ ~Alexander Quickly offered her a rose and stepped back fully~ "Well met Alexandra Darkheart I would expect nothing less of you." If you need help I will glad to assist you."
Alexa stood there unable to look away as she stared at him. Her body shivered. Yet his words brought more fear to the fore of her mind and the Beast within her laughed. No other would hear it but her voice would betray it as her words faltered and her voice cracked. "You... you can't. No one can. Even Darius forbid anyone trying. I only fed from him. I only let him and Jas give me blood cause only they could control it. I have learned to feed alone because they have forsaken me. But I have enough control. Enough for me anyway. " She took he offered rose but was careful not to touch his hand and then back again managing to murmur as her gaze went down to the floor. "Thank you Mlord Alexander... "
Upon reaching the massive door, Darque, stopped for a moment and drew in a deep breath. Did she really want to do this; after all he did scare the hell out of her at times. But over the years he had bid her welcome and treated her with an off-handed kindness. She sighed once more. "Now or never" she muttered to herself and eyed the door. Did one knock here? Would there be someone to answer, except for the strange light in the north tower now gone the place seemed as quiet as a tomb.
~Alexander Drew a knife and looked at her and snarled to the beast inside her.~ What an arrogant beast you are but you can be controlled...~ "Alexander sliced his wrist and willed the blood to flow in droplets....Thirsty lil one?~
Darque shrugged her shoulders, the curiosity in her being more dominant then the fear in her heart. With a small hand she reached up and grabbed hold of the knocker on the door, lifting it and letting it fall with a loud bang on its plate. She stepped back then and waited to see what would happen. Interest swirling in her eyes as honestly believed it would not be answered. After all many years had passed since last she spoke with the lord of the manor.
As he slit his wrist she almost cried out as if she herself had been sliced. "NOOO!" She shook her head almost in panic scanning the room, but the only door was past the blood, past the vitae. The Beast sniffed the air and she backed up shaking her head back and forth as if backing from a fate worse than death itself. Murmuring over and over again. "Noooo... please... don't. You don't understand... " She bit her lip and stopped when her back contacted the wall. As the knocker fell she almost squealed but stayed against the wall almost visibly shaking.
~Alexander through heightened senses Auspex Lvl 1 heard the front door knocker.~ ~Alexander watched her and licked his wrist sealed.~ Silently Alexander wondered down the halls to the foyer and opened the door standing there in a suit as if he was the butler.~ ~Opening the door he states solemnly "May I Help you M'lady?"
Darque stumbled backwards for a moment, having not expected an answer. Glazing at the man's chest and then looking upwards she offered a shy smile. "Good evening Mlord could you please tell me if I have the right place I am looking for Darius, pray by chance is he here? *She looked hopeful after all it had been a long journey to get here* She stood centering herself once more a slight blush on her cheeks at her stumble, but her mind churned by Gods this one was huge too, and seemed to carry a wealth of power, surely he was no butler. Glancing down his body she took note of his stance before once more looking upwards and awaiting his answer.
Alexa almost collapsed as Alex left the room and the smell of the copper life left the room with him. It was then she felt the one at the door. They had gotten this far, so they were welcomed. The question was, who were they and why had they knocked? She used what speed she had as an immortal and stepped up next to Alex as the woman finished speaking. She didn't touch him but stepped under his arm and between him and the woman speaking with a smile on her face. Her back was to him so he wouldn't see the change on her face, but he would still feel the fear on her as well as the Beast crawling just under the surface. "I am Alexa. Forgive me, you said you were seeking Darius? He is my stepfather. Who are you? And what do you seek from him?" Her words were kind, not challenging and her hands clasped before her as if she were but a child being polite like grownups had told her too.
~Alexander watches her silently and solemnly and then replies silently~ "My brother isn't in at the moment, but you are welcome to stay in the estate and await his return." ~Please follow me~ Alexander waits for her to enter hearing Alexandra answer.... ~
She blinked as another seemed to appear magically at the doorway. Now confusion really set in. The place had seemed like a tomb now people were coming out of the woodwork so to speak. Yet for the moment the woman put her at ease where the man had not. "Forgive me for coming ...Alexa. M'lord. But Darius had told me I was welcome and I was so hoping to catch him at home. I am known as Darque. Darius and I have spoken over the years and tonight I guess I have gotten over my awe...perhaps that is the right word enough to come play him a visit. Will he be long Sir; I would not like to intrude after all I could return to Lord Black Hawk's keep. But I do confess it is a long way from here.
~Alexander smiled and spoke..."I know not when he will return M'lady Darque but please stay as our guest." you may stay in the south tower if you wish M'lady." I am Alexander Darius' brother and I hope he will return soon please come in."
~Alexander moves out of her way to allow her to enter from the night~
Alexa almost backed against the wall as the man at her back invited the stranger in. She smiled at Darque then grimaced almost sugary sweet at Alex, though her eyes were of proof that this was not over. This was her home not his, but the display of his power still tingled on her hands. Rubbing her hands absently she spoke though her eyes were for Alex alone. "Please, no need to leave. You are welcome here." She nodded as if almost subservient to Alex and then turned a once more smiling face towards Darque. "Be welcome..." She then turned and headed back towards the tower.
She stood there for a moment more waiting for the answer still half way deciding if following them was a safe idea, after all she had not expected to encounter others of his family. Truthfully she did not even know he had a stepdaughter mind you it had never come up in conversation. Or a brother. Oh my what had she got herself into? She stepped into the keep and watched the by play between the two, most interesting. "I do thank you for your welcome and for the offer of hospitality." She was still a little confused once she was within and shivered a little at the cold. As she watched Alexa turn and walk off she asked " "M'lord Alexander have I come at a bad time?" there was tension here and it snaked along her spine.
~Alexander silently grabbed Alexandra's arm and pulled her back.~ "Alexandra will be your host this eve M'lady Darque." "No you didn't come at a bad time I was just discussing some subjects that were a bit stressful before you arrived." "Please have a lovely evening with your wonderful hostess Alexandra." "And if she is found to be not up to your standards please let me known and I will see to it that she is punished." ~Alexander then walks off to the throne room silently~
She blanched and took a step backwards. Oh now this was a situation she was not sure she wanted to be in the middle of. She looked at Alexa and then Alex, her eyes seeming a little large for her face.. "Please if someone would just show me where I could sit for a bit I can happily entertain myself. I am old enough not to require a babysitter and that way perhaps you can return to sorting out what I did indeed interrupt.
Alexa almost gasped as he grabbed her arm. She glared at him but the smile she nodded to Darque was flawless. "No, no Mlady. My uncle is right. I fear sometimes we fight more like lovers than family." She turned her sugary sweet smile back to Alex. "Don't we dear UNCLE?" She smiled and offered her arm to the guest. "Please, I will not leave you alone. Darius would be furious at such manners I am sure." As Alexa departed to the Throne room, Alexa led the other woman across the hall to the sitting room. She smiled as they walked. "I hope you will accept my apologies. Alex and I both are hot headed, nothing more. Can I offer you something to drink? Blood Wyne perhaps?" She smiled as if nothing in all the world were wrong.
~Alexander moves into the throne room with silent contemplation~ ~He called to his will to telepathy and touched her mind with a silent but powerful thrust inflicting mental pain (Auspex lvl 4 Telepathy) ~ "This is far from over M'lady Alexandra" ~Just remember you are like a servant to me and never forget that~ ~Alexander let the discipline drop as he sat there in the throne room on Darius' throne in silent contemplation~
She nodded to Alexa "Family at times I have been told are like that" She took Alexa offered arm and followed where she lead, her mind working over what she has seen. "If it would be of no bother could I perhaps trouble you for some water, I do not hold my head on much of anything else. It is a lovely place you have here. But so quiet" she spoke softly and with a soft hint of an accent. "Hot headed M'lady is one way to call the pair of you" she laughed softy and hoped she had not offended
Laughing softly she went to the sideboard and pulled the tassel. A moment later a servant arrived with a tray holding pitchers of water and light wine. After setting it down the servant left. Alexa motioned the couch and set of chairs as choice of seating. "Please, have a seat... " She began to pour the water and gasped covering it as a cough when Alex touched her mind. She gathered herself and smiled handing the Lady the water before sitting on the couch. "Well we are all of Darius' blood. So being hotheaded comes with the bloodline. Forgive our small display. And I assure you, Alex and I will fight many more times and make up many more times I assure you." She sat and watched the woman as if trying to discern who she was and why she was here.
She took the water with a smile "Thank you. I am sure you both will. Still it must be nice to have family about you even if occasionally they rub one the wrong way? You are curious about me are ye not? I can see it in your eyes? Please I am the intruder here ask your questions and if I am able I shall answer them. Perhaps then you will be more at ease?"
She looked towards the throne room then and then down to her goblet. "Forgive me. I am curious but I will not pry save to ask if you are here for Darius, why come now? He has not been in th... " She bit her lip looking towards the Throne Room again then continued. "... in the Main Keep in a few days. But I am sure he will come back shortly. He is rarely gone for long." She rose then heading to look out the French doors towards the gardens. Alex had said Darius would return shortly. But her father had not been home in centuries. How would he know? And did she dare dispute it?

She laughed softy at the lady's careful words.. "Alexa may I be frank? As I can see you are treading carefully with your words. I am aware Darius is rarely if ever here, I know he has..err.. issues with his family. But I was hopeful perhaps he had been back for this is the only place I know where to contact him or find information on where I can find him. I do commend you on using care with strangers. I met Darius a long time ago and he promised me some answers to my bloodline, it is only now I think I may be able to face the answers he could give me. Before I came into my own I was more afraid of my shadow. But in this world it is not a good way to be."
"I am well aware how our kinds find FEAR and WEAKNESS Mlady." She turned smiling. "Forgive me. We are not used to strangers here. It is true I have been mincing words. And I apologize. I can show you to your room if you wish. There is a set of rooms left cleaned and ready for family when they visit." She smiled softly then in earnest. "And I would be honored to show you to where you can rest. I am again sorry for all you stepped into here, and hope you will not judge us too harshly for it."
~Alexander heard the last sentence Alexandra used and smirked to himself. ~Alexander rose and walked to the sitting room and silently glared at Alexandra. ~ "Yes Please forgive me for my lack of manners M'lady Darque." "I will see to it that Alexandra is punished for her lack of respect given to you upon entry." "She has been found lacking as of late and shall be taught her place by myself swiftly I assure you." "Please enjoy your stay with us and I will see you later M'lady Darque." ~He bowed humbly to Darque and then mentally flipped off Alexandra...He then swiftly departed for the throne room once more~
"Judgment is not my calling M'lady and family business is just that. You have no need for apologizes for you have done nothing wrong. You protect what is yours, as it should be. And aye a place to rest for a while would be divine as I am sure you have better things to do then play nursemaid to and unexpected visitor in the night" Once more she blanched.. then got mad. How rude could that man be? She had words to give to him for the lady had been nothing but polite yet here she was thrown in the middle of something she honestly did not understand. "I am sorry M'lady Alexa you have been nothing but kind but seems your Uncle has an agenda of his own."
Alexa had been about to offer a hand to Darque when Alex suddenly appeared. She growled lightly under her breath but then smiled when he left and mentally flipped her off. She purposefully ignored him turning back to escort the Lady upstairs. "No need to apologize Mlady. My Uncle and I seem to be at odds lately, is all. I am sure it will pass and I hope you do not find your stay here unwelcome. You are family." She patted the woman's arm as they mounted the steps. "And family is always welcome." She winked then whispering. "Even those we do not love by our heart, but love by our blood." She laughed then and showed the woman to her sitting room with bath to one side and sleeping room to the other.
She could not help but laugh with Alexa. "I do not have much experience with family so I shall take your word it is so. Oh my what a beautiful room. Thank you for allowing me to stay, I do have a place to go but to turn around and make the trip tonight would be most tiring." She leant forward and whispered " I think I shall take advantage of that bath it is calling my name. Thank you once more M'lady Alexa and I do hope M'lord Alexander is not nasty to you. If I can be of any help there please just call me?"
Hugs the woman like a sister and laughs softly. "His bark is worse than his bite I assure you. He is the head of the family with Darius away and wishes only to make a good impression. I appreciate your concern, but please, enjoy your bath and I shall send a servant up in half an hour to see if you are hungry." She backed towards the door. "If you need something in the middle of the night, the bell cord there will bring a servant. Don't hesitate to ask if you have need. Sleep well and darkness keep you Mlady." She bowed and turned to head out.
She smiled and nodded to let Alexa know she had heard and understood. She hoped Alex would be gentle with her as honestly there was not much more that she could have done towards her comfort. "Thank you for kindness, please don't let me keep you from what other business you need to see too. I shall enjoy the warmth of the bath and then play it from there. I do have one question Is there a library here where I may borrow a book to read till I grow sleepy? Then I shall stay out of your way till next evening. Or could a servant take me to library once my bathing is done that way you have not more bother with me for now?"
Laughing softly shaking her head she smiled. "You are NO bother Mlady, despite what my Uncle may have made it seem. Ring the bell and have the servant take you to the library. Its up another floor yet traverses to the ground floor. So please feel free to explore. Nothing in these walls will trouble you this night. I give you my word. God night, Mlady. And welcome home." She winked and headed out closing the door behind her head back towards the stairs and the ground floor.
Alexa got the ground floor and glanced to the Throne Room. Grinning wickedly she turned without a second thought and began to head back to her tower.
Alexander sat in the throne room and smiled in the throne room in deep meditation. He sat there peacefully, and meditated on how he was going to punish Alexandra and how much he was going to make her suffer for her insolence earlier. Alexander just grinned in his meditations his mood dark and twisted...
Alexa closed the door to the Tower then murmured softly as a growl tinted her words. "Lord... MASTER!? How DARE he. I will call NO man by those names." She laughed and moved towards the still dripping roses and sighed. They were lovely. She ran her finger over the blood and felt it wet still. Magic no doubt. She licked her finger and went to the pitcher and stuck them unceremoniously in the water. She growled again. "Never!"
~Alexander Concentrates deeply and calls to Thaumaturgy path of weather control to lvl 5 lightning. He feels the vehemence through his blood and goes more eagerly to his goal. The skies darken as thunderheads form once more. And with a caress of his will a massive lightning bolt strikes Alexandra's tower blasting out half the tower floor. Alexander wills bolt after bolt pummeling the tower to ruins have the tower collapse to ruins on top of Alexandra. Alexander smiles in his meditations.
Alexa shivered from the feel of the magic moments before she felt the tower shake. She screamed once throwing her arm up as the second floor collapsed down and knocked her unconscious before she could call to her mist form to escape. "AALLEEEXXXXX NNNOOOOOOOOOO!!" Her final thoughts were of Darius and how she wished Alex dead just before she blacked out.
On a hill looking over the castle the wind silently blows across the emptiness. Suddenly a being steps out of nothing. He stands a half foot above seven feet in height, blonde hair is tied into a tail that reaches halfway down his back, green eyes colder then the ice cap that covers the great southern continent of this world stare down at the building before him. When he notices the dust rising from the northern tower his only reaction is to raises one brow slightly. He can without even trying feel the presence of his brother and he has no doubt the dust was caused by him. He could care less about the destruction of the building that was for millennia untold his home. Partly closing his eyes he sweeps his mind through the castle and feels the presence of his ward in one tower. He could also feel the unconscious form of his daughter and he once more raised a brow and chuckled coldly. Reaching out more with his mind he called upon a power of his Thaum, one so nicely donated by an Assamite, he paused a moment to smirk at the thoughts of what he had done to that Assamite, he brings forth the power of MoTM and flings the stone off of Alexandra then lifts her body up and moves it to the front of the castle and lowers it to the ground.

Alexander sits in the throne in deep meditation when he feels the presence of his brother growing near. Silently rising with his mind fully in control, he walks to the foyer and out the door. He then sees the body of Alexandra outside in front of the castle and pays it little heed. He walks on the skies dark and the lightning glowing in his eyes knowing his brother didn't give a shit about the castle destruction. Alexander stopped silently in front of the castle and waited silently as 2 legions of demons hovered close by the Infernalist. He awaited Darius his brother to come home.
Alexa moaned and rolled to her stomach. Her head ached and her body glowed bright silver radiating down her right arm then back over her body like a small wave as her healing energies kicked in. She got to her hands and knees and shook her head. "Alex!" she growled slightly under her breath. As she stood she saw his back to her a few feet away. She felt her Beast crawl to the surface and cared not this time. "ALEXANDER!" She roared in challenge. "You violate my home, demand my servitude then destroy my Tower. I was sworn protection in this place and you have turned on your OWN brother in that wish. HOW DARE YOU!" She balled her fists as her silver eyes glowed red and her fists pulsed with the healer/savage power within her.
He watched the byplay as his brother came out of the castle and then his daughter woke up. He let a mirthless smile come to his lips as he heard the words of Alexa, felt her anger ringing through the air itself. Ignoring that for now he looked upon the legions of demons that surrounded Alexander and smirked. He then spoke softly, yet his words could be heard half way across the globe as he spoke in dragon speak, the tongue of the daemons of the abyss. "Be gone demons, you are not needed here so be gone lest your lords come to ruin". He then moved his eyes to Alexander and nodded his head slightly "Greetings brother". Then without taking his eyes from Alex he spoke to Alexa." Calm yourself daughter, I would not see you harmed and you are too weak to even harm a hair on my brother".
Alexander nodded to Darius and Nodded Greetings brother. Feels the demons getting extremely pissed off at something Darius told them. Alexander just smirks and waves his hand sending them back to the castle. "It has been a while brother." He looks back at Alexandra and smirks.... Bring it if you dare....
Alexa had been about to lunge at him when Darius told her to hold. She hadn't cared at that moment if she died, she only knew her home and sanctuary had been disturbed. As she stood there with fists balled and her glaring eyes for Alex she managed to speak to Darius. "Welcome home, Lord Darius. You were missed, FATHER." The words meant to remind Alex she was no common servant to be tossed around, but a child, though only a step, to the Lord of this Castle. She knew how badly Alex had wanted MASTER or LORD added to his name from her lips. Something she knew would never pass her lips even unto death.
He watched the demons back into the castle and smirked once more before he moved down the hill. Stopping some 10' from his brother he looked at him, it had been many centuries since they had seen each other, though this did not truly bother Darius, there was little anymore that could bother him in the least. " It is good to see you brother, it has been very long indeed". He then turned his eyes towards Alexa and smiled slightly, no warmth visible in his eyes or smile. " Greetings Alexandra, it has been ages since I have laid eyes on you. "
He listened to his brother silently and nodded it had indeed been centuries since he had seen him. Though he didn't care it was nice to know he still walked the earth. Alexander's smile was as cold as his dark dead soul. His eyes showed lightning and then showed cold death, as did his smile. Alexander like his brother was emotionless and dark...as he waved a hand his suit gone and his dark blue mage robes back in place. His staff in hand and he stood there idly as greetings were exchanged between his brother and his niece....
Alexa saw the cold look in Darius' eyes and watched Alex change forms. She nodded once more to Darius and turned to head back into the house. She had to go search the Tower rubble for the sword Darius had given her. And her Uncle.... he could go to hell...
He watched Alexa walk towards the tower with a smirk on his lips then looked back at his brother. He studied him for a moment before speaking. " I am glad that you are here brother, for now you may join me for some fun. A few centuries back many of this family found it in their puny little minds to betray me. I have allowed them to live, let them think they are safe from my vengeance. Now the time has come for them to learn that they are mistaken. I could destroy them easily, without even moving from this spot I stand on, but that does not fulfill the terror I wish them to feel. So I suggest me and you show them that betraying one of us was not the smartest move they could have made"
Alexander looked to Darius with a cold smirk on his face. This is true to challenge your supremacy is a foolish mistake brother. I shall delight in filling their lives with Terror and despair as we take their pitiful souls from them. We shall mount their skulls in the throne room as a reminder to those that are allowed to live.....Just to show what will happen to them should they choose to make the same mistake as their predecessors. I delight in their deaths and the spilt blood of their pitiful attempts to live......We shall carpet the fortress with their hides, make chairs with their bones and drink their blood from their skulls. Then we shall bottle their souls as we torment them forever as our own personal wraith servants... Alex's voice was full of malice but his eyes were emotionless.... then he smiled a smile as cold as the grave...."When do we commence the Hunt brother?"
Alexa heard the deep growl of Darius' voice as she climbed over the rubble. When she was about to give up, she calmed down enough to remember Dar had told her the blade would come when needed. She smiled and moved to backside of the pile and sat down. Closing her eyes she thought of the blade and used what bit of her blood she shared with Darius to "reach" for the sword as he had taught her. A moment later a small scrape was heard as it came out of the pile and landed in her lap. She smiled rising and strapped it to her back before heading back towards the front of the Keep and her Father and Uncle.

Shadow Message 6 of 10 , Jul 8, 2005
~Hearing the crackling of lighting and then a loud explosion she looks up.Laying Dawn back down on the bed she wipes a tear from her eye and kisses her on the forehead.Walking out of the room and down the hall towards the tower.Suddenly she comes to a halt as the hall ends.Looking down at where the tower should have been and seeing nothing but rubble and two shadowy forms she jumps down to take a closer look.As she nears the two she sees Alexa and a man that she doesnt know.Raiseing her hand and placing it on Alexa's shoulder she speaks softly.~Alexa?~Looking around at the rubble and melted metal, then up to the strange man standing across from her.~Whats going on dear?

Alexandra Moroveston- Message 7 of 10 , Jul 8, 2005
Alexa spun swiftly around as the hand touched her shoulder, Darius' gift blade at the ready. She doesn't know what startles her more, the lightning reflex she responded with, or the fact that Lady Shadow managed to creep up on her cause she was so overwhelmed in rage for Lord Alexander. Silvery sea blue eyes gazed at Shadow as the sword lowered slowly. "Father has returned. And in the wake of his destructive brother, Alexander." She nodded over her shoulder at the two figures behind her at the front of the house. "And it seems more family arrives. I feel others drawing nearer as well."
Standing perfectly still as the blade comes close to her, she looks up at Alexa. She hears her speak of her sister's dear husband and then of his brother. Looking over at Alexander she sighs. *How many brothers does this man have? * She thinks to herself, looking back down at Alexa. "Well whatever your dear father has planned, we will deal with it together." She softly smiles at Alexa and brushes her hair out of her face.
Alexa shook her head. "Shadow, Father has returned. HE will deal with whatever needs to be done." She sheathed her sword on her back readjusting the hastily done buckles. She turned and shifted till she stood next to Shadow. "The King of the Darkhearts returns. It is with him I stand."
She didn't bother looking back at Shadow, but made a point of bumping Alexander's shoulder and murmured a half hearted 'scuse me' as she moved to stand behind Darius. In silence she waited to see if Shadow would follow. She prayed she would. Being on Alexander's side didn't seem like a good place to be right now.
Looking over to Alexa with a bit of shocked look on her face. "If you stand with them, my dear, then you do it alone. After seeing what he did to my family when I left, I would be stupid to follow him. And only in his dreams is he the king of Darkheart. Dai is more of a king then him. He at least cares for this family. Alexa I will always consider you family but your choice to join your father disappoints me." She turns walking thru the rubble as she takes a deep breath and takes one last look at Alexa.
Alexa looked up as Shadow spoke and nodded. "He is my Father. Dai'Shar will understand. And I pray someday you do as well. " She glared at Alex as she spoke. "We ALL make mistakes. And some learn. I just hope all learn that violence and betrayal are not the way to begin." She gave Alex a sugary sweet fake innocent smile and then nodded to Shadow. "I hope you will see Darius has returned cause he has changed as well. Thank you for your kind words. But I will not move from my Father's side till he turns on me."
She sighed as Shadow turned to go and prayed the rest of the family did not abandon or turn as the two she watched now had done. It would be a small family indeed if that were to happen.
She shivered then and whipped her head around and turned whispering a name she hadn't spoken in years. "...Serpent..." She felt him then. Lurking just on the fringes of her mind like a half forgotten memory and bit her lip unconsciously wondering which side he would choose.

CALL OF THE KING ((fixed for inaccuracies)) Alexandra Moroveston- Message 1 of 5 , Jul 11, 2005
We blew it and I have ooc apologized to Dai'Shar... his last post left him sitting on the steps of the dais in front of the throne. I have altered the end of the Conv Scroll to end with the three ((Darius, Alex and Alexa)) stopping before the dais to see Dai... I am sorry... I prefer acccuracy and apologize for not seeing it before now.
Your post DARIUS or DAI'SHAR) O o ...
*******
Alexander stands on the steps of the castle and looks to his brother and to the others. He nods to his brother and to Alexa and walks over to them. He bows to his brother firmly as he looks to him. "Blood over bitch." He then stands to his left side and smirks at the one called Shadows.
Darius nods to his brother slightly before his gaze once more moves to the castle. For a brief moment a dim anger flares in his eyes before they go a dead black. " Now is the time, let my call go forth through the heavens and through hell itself". With those words he raises one hand up, palm towards the castle and calls forth the power of his ancient blood summoning forth the power of Elemental Mastery. From out of his hand arcs out 3 scintillating bolts of lightning, streaking through the air to slam into the area around the door. Even as the sound of the falling stones echoes he mentally sends forth a call through all the planes, summoning forth his family to him, to once more swear allegiance or to suffer the consequences.
Alexa, though prepared, still jumped as his voice boomed and shivered as the door turned to a pile of rubble behind where Alex had been standing a moment ago. She whispered softly as she tightened the chest buckle on her back sheath and nodded slightly to acknowledge Alex to the other side of Darius. She knew in her place should stand Dai'Shar, he was Justicar after all. But she hadn't known Alex was on their side, and now the three walked towards the Keep as a unit and it gave her a bit of pride to stand even for a moment, at the supporting side of her father instead of the background shadows as she had done for the last several centuries.
Alexander stood there silently beside his brother. His loyalty was never in question from their childhood days to their immortal ones they were united for the same cause. Alexander wondered how many would be annihilated by his hands and his brothers knowing the survival rate would be nil. Not that he cared, Alexander stopped caring centuries ago when he ascended to his current state of Chaos Lord. He reveled in the chaos that must be felt in the castle at this very moment. He knew that the call of the Master meant sheer terror to those who were stupid enough to take for granted that Darius would never return. Alexander waited with anticipation as the chaos inside grew.
After the call rings out he neither looks left or right, simply starting towards the castle. As he steps through the hole where the door once was he pauses for a moment to look around at a place he had not been in many centuries. With a slight nod to himself he moves into the castle, his steps sure as he strides towards a destination. Entering the council chambers he turns to his left and moves to a seemingly blank spot on the wall. He lifts one hand and makes a small movement across the wall as his mind reaches out to touch the stone. It wavers like a mirage in the noonday heat and then vanishes revealing a niche hidden there. Insides rests a silken pillow, on top of that pillow rests 6 jewels, flickering internally. With a small smile devoid of emotion he reaches in and lifts the stones.
Alexa paused as they entered the Council chambers and bit her lip watching the chamber open. She had seen in there once before. When he had taken something out long ago. Now she stood in wonder at the lovely gems knowing if a Demon Lord grinned over them, they were more than typical gems. She glanced at Alex to see his reaction to them.
Alexander watched silently as he walked through the halls of his brother's keep. He walked into the council chambers and watched at what Darius pulled out of the wall and smiled with no emotion in his eyes as his eyes too turned black. His eyes though had gold flecks in them though as if there were flames glowing there. Alexander just watched waiting for his brother to finish his business.
Looking down at the jewels a moment he then places then in a pocket within the jacket he wears. He then turns and walks from the council chambers moving towards his throne room. As he walks his mind sweeps through the castle, touching upon one that causes his breath to hiss out of him in a venomous hiss. He pushed back the temptation to blast a hole through the walls to Shadow, to simply allow himself the brief pleasure of ending her life now. But such things he gave up long ago, he would give her one chance, though he knew she would not take it, to swear to him. After she refused, and only then, would he allow her just enough time to realize the mistake that she had made.
She stepped up as Darius closed in on the Throne Room doors. She saw his fists clench, knew he wanted to blast them. She stepped forward and opened them for him backing up so she was on the foyer side of the door and not IN the throne room. She knew better than to enter before him. Something he had taught her long ago. The phantom twinge in her back reminded her of that moment and she smiled at him. He had been rough in his teaching of her in her time here. But she also knew if he hadn't, her head wouldn't still be on her shoulders.
Alexander followed silently feeling a swarm of emotions but staying silent. He continued to follow and kept walking silently waiting for the order to lay the place to waste.
As he enters the throne room he stops his movements for a second, allowing the memories of the past to flow through his mind. Shaking them off he turns towards his throne, striding across the floor to it. Stopping in front of the dais to look at Dai'Shar sitting there.

Didn't rise when Darius entered the room. He tilted his head to one side and fixed the aged patriarch with a wry smirk. His parched tongue flickering over cracked and broken lips a moment before speaking. "You look pleased with yourself shit-stick." He shifted a foot beneath him, as he spoke, lifting his hammer into both hands and easing himself slowly to his feet. "Was beginning to think you'd gone soft..." Dai'shar fixed his brother with another wicked grin. ".. at least softer than you always were.." He let his eyes drift about to the others in the room. He tilted his head, neck joints popping sickeningly in the silence. He look at the other sibling who stood behind Darius, "You learn't any manners yet?," barely waiting for a response before he turned his gaze back to Darius. "I ain't swearing fealty to you. I ain't swearing allegiance to you. And you know me better than to expect me to. As always I serve the FAMILY first. And so we're both still aware of how that sits between us. Same as always. You do what's best for the family, and we continue to get along fine. You start turning everyone into namby-pamby faggots and we'll have words." He grinned and winked. Darius had placed Dai'shar into this position himself, for years Dai'shar was the only person other than Darius who had been given permission to destroy those who were weak or had shamed the family. Daishar had destroyed his own wife. Dai'shar destroyed his own childer. He smiled broadly, "Why don't we kill a party clown and celebrate?"

Alexander had followed in Darius silently and saw Dai Sharr sitting there in the throne room in front of the throne. Alexander listened to Dai as he started to talk to his brother Darius. He thought to himself and let Darius feel the thought...( Oh great, another one? brother how many smart asses do we have in this family.) Alexander was about to go on when Dai addressed him directly.
Have you learned any manners yet? Alexander looked back at Dai as his thoughts paused. "Why do you talk of manners Lord Dai Sharr this is the first time we have met." "Have I done something to offend you upon my entering the throne room?" "I heard a guard make a comment about the tower I blew up, something along the lines, that I should apologize to the occupant of the tower." "Then, brother Darius here showed up so I gave him a formal greeting and entered with him into the castle proper." "Alexandra joined us and we are here now." "The only thing I have failed to do is a formal introduction of myself." "I am Alexander Travos, mortal brother of Darius and immortal brother of him through the embrace."
Please forgive my rudeness Lord Dai. Alexander then falls silent and waits for Darius to speak once more....

Fairly twitched at the flowery words Alex uttered. His face wrinkled up in displeasure as he began to chuckle. "Odds fish, did you know you have way too much of what the cat licked it's arse with." he demonstrated by sticking out his tongue. "I'm no Lord. My name is Dai'shar. 'Dai' for short. As for offending me, everyone offends me;" he grinned again, though there was nothing humorous to the rictus smile. "Everyone just grins, laughs along, and says... 'That's Dai, he's always grumpy'. When I really yearn to feast on their blood and ashes." He stretched lazily, raising his hammer across his shoulders, carrying it like a water-yoke and arching his back to crack it as he'd done his neck. He stood then, arms draped over the head and haft in a mock crucifix position. "Don't ever take out your frustrations on Alexandra again," he whispered, "or you will greet the sun. Make sure you apologise." Daishar left it at that. Watching Darius quietly. "You letting your monkey do all the talking Brother Dear?"

"I really don't think any of you primates can make any sort of tangible coversation" Dara smirked as she came upon the trio. Nodding to Dai'Shar, Darius and Alexander. Rubbing her bottom lip with the pad of her index finger, she took a quick look around before turning her gaze on alexander. She had seen him before.. but where? The place was not all that important but in the years past she had begun to slip. She knew that but she would never admit to becoming forgetful. Her own chambers were finally carefully cleaned, and had forced many of the servants to go over everything with a q-tip when she was not pleased with the first job they did. However.. Her original paintings were still covered under a sheet of dust that had been sent out during the daylight hours to be cleaned. "My my my.. How much fun was had in here" giving a rather odd look to Dai'Shar's grinning. She had heard he was unstable and never really got the chance to actually study him up close. The hammer though was something she would love to go over. Details always intrigued her but the threat to Alexander was what brought dara's attention away from the object directly to the men near her "Trouble with family" again and again and again. she added silently. Perhaps it was time for some *cleansing* within the castle walls. However, looking to Darius now, Dara knew that he would never allow that. He had gone soft and quite feeble in her eyes. Going from kin to demon to a point where she even heard tells of him becoming an alien of sorts. So schitzophrenia did affect the older ones after all. A laugh coming from that little diddy brought her face to face again with Dai'Shar "Cat ate the Canary look, interesting look for you." she said before she waited on Alexander's response to Dai's oh so subtle words to him.

The Throne Room Alexandra Moroveston- Message 1 of 3 , Jul 16, 2005
Alexa had smiled slightly as the Justicar stood up to Alex. She knew the day that apologee finally came would be bitter sweet. But somehow she doubted it would be this one.
She managed to shift slightly placing herself more in Darius' shadow as other members of the family began to arrive. She nodded silently to Serp as he entered but watched as he, too, slipped to the shadows to watch.
She listened to Dara and shuddered. She felt the animosity in the room grow and she prayed it wouldn't come her way. She was behind her father in whatever he decided, but she also knew she would hesitate if she had to strike a family member.
Despite how cruelly sha had been treated in the past... or how blatently ignored...

Muqtadir Mumit Message 2 of 3 , Jul 17, 2005
<< Was asked ooc to post this for Darius >>
Darius turns his head to look down at Dai'shar, a small twitching of his lips passing for a smile, though it never touches his dead eyes. Very few things in this eternity have stayed the same, but Dai'shar's attitude was one of them. He, himself, found the fact that his younger brother thought that he was afraid of him very amusing. Darius had allowed Dai'shar to continue in his position simply for the reason that Dai had always put the family first. Else he would have long ago took it away from him and destroyed his impudent brother. But much of that was the past and this was now. He arches one brow as the smile once more flickers across his lips at the last words uttered by Dai.
"Monkey brother? I would not state Alexander as such. Say perhaps a tiger thirsting for blood, held back only by the light hand of loyalty."
He stopped in his words to Dai'shar as he turned his gaze to Dara. Their relationship had always been a rocky one, and at times in the past she had escaped destruction by the slimmest of hairs, but that too mattered little in present circumstances. After that brief look he, for the nonce, ignored her. She seemed to be locked on Alexander anyways. Somewhere deep within a soul almost completely dead this caused amusement to rise, though on who's part he could not say.He then turned his eyes back to Dai'shar.
" You may continue to guard this family if that is your wish. I came back to see something and in the short time I have been here I have already seen what I wished to. My time in this castle shall be short then I shall be gone from here for good. Those that wish may come with me, the rest I leave to the path that this family has been set on by Shadow. Truly brother, I care little for those that would betray the one who had led them for millenia so easily. I returned here simply because of the fading feeling of love I had for many of this family and to give them this last chance. All shall have to make their choice when I depart, and that choice can never be unmade."
He leaned back to rest his head on the throne as he fell silent. He had always ruled this family with a light hand, something that was completely foreign to him. Done out of love for those of his bloodline, and for that, they had betrayed him. It was a mistake that he shall not make again. He would leave soon and claim once again his true surname, leaving behind the one that had been his for many millenia. He did this without any regret, he would allow all those that stayed to follow the destructive path that Shadow had put them on, and when they reached the end of that path, he would be standing there.

Well said, Darius, well said. I for one will leave with you. This family used to be fun but then it got too decanted for my tastes. it also became too stricked for me. you know I like my freedom of choices..blonde, brunette and all the other strange hair colors that you can get now-a-days with dyes. but anyway, I don't know the true course this family has taken with shadow or Dai'shar or anyone else. all I know is, I stand with you Darius. *smirks lightly and shakes his head* I was never really strong with disiplines or blood magic being more bent towards physical pleasures. but whatever I have, it's yours

My my my. The children are screaming. You people and I mean that term broadly are the reason I left RP. I was asked to return and after some thought decided it might be fun. Yet once more it seems disappointment abounds. A plot line develops and suddenly children are screaming, insults are flying and OOC once more runs rampant through play. *tsk tsk*
Enjoy your games people its nice to see rp has not changed in years, its still full of backstabbing, insecure creatures that if a storyline or plot is not to their liking, cause all sorts of trouble and mischief - Mainly it seems that someone is doing bad to someone else cause of OOC. Perhaps one day people can learn and UNDERSTAND it is game, one most play for enjoyment not for the added stress of the crap that ends up flying.
Anyways hello to you Serps - Yes you are remembered you silver tongued devil I hope all is well with you. Hiya Grant I hope you are well too. -Darque (better know to some as StressKitten or Isadora_Delgardo

~Meeting by Moonlight~ Shadow Message 1 of 1 , Jul 19, 2005
~Mobius continues in his dismensional stride, slightly rushed over the rumors that had been thrown around in his own kingdom, and it did not sit so comforting on his consciousness. Though, he did not feel that appearing within the castle of the Darkhearts unannounced would be the most prudent of moves in any situation. The feeling of nothingness that walking in the shadows produced was comforting for a moment, but the cross over was always exhilarating, to be born of shadows. A pillar of darkness would begin to rise, growing and pulsing until it would suddenly wash away, leaving him standing their in the courtyard catching his sense of reality.~
~Shadow quietly slipping out of the throne room letting out a sigh she begins to mumble to herself.Walking thru the castle she ventures into the courtyard and falls onto one of the benchs and stares up at the sky.~
From the dark recess itself, Storm would graciously follow- shadows and darkness rippling around her svelte form in tantalizing tendrils of undulation and intertwined wreathes of sinistrous shadowy tentacles, pulling from the abyss and umbral gates- allowing diminutive flesh to manifest from the ephemeral and insubstantial void, allowing that wintry howling wind to gyrate around, gathering the shadows and pulling them into a slender pillar of conglomeration and amalgamations- each spiralling in ascendance to wreathe and intertwine so elaborately and perfectly without fault or flaw. In the squamous swarm of ebon-filaments overlapping, a disturbing drone of nefarious energies would resound in a cacophonous hiss to the elements of night, disturbing the tranquillity and serenity elements of night, disturbing the tranquillity and serenity of these landscapes draped in haunted moonlight and midnight-tide, the perfect scenery of treachery and abomination brought from the awakening of fools and asinines long bereft of honor and reputation, if of course they were ever awarded with such...Stepping forth from the tenebrous grasp of darkness, allowing tones of naked flesh entwined in ebony gossamer shrouds and obsidian glistening shadow mithril mesh only accentuating such sinful curves of feminine allure- the femme fatale of this now reigning family brought to full glory as it had done so long before Dark-liquored eyes looking upon Mobius as she appeared just behind him and unleashing a gentle yet procured smile as eyes glanced over his form and then over towards the location of the Darkheart Castle. Her features were exquisite though stern as to why they had returned here, and if anything she was simply here to provide support to one held so dear.
~Turning at the sounds of footsteps from others amongst him in the courtyard. His face too would contort into a smile toward Storm as she had appeared not long after him. His crimson brown eyes look from one figure to the next, and light smile overtakes his face knowing that this meeting should be civil enough as long as no one else exits from the castle, and at this thought his eyes would look beyond Shadow to where she had come from to see if anyone else may be coming.Though, he is quick to dismiss this, and bow ever so politely at the waist. Silver laced words slowly rolling off his tongue, breaking the silence in the courtyard.~ "Good evening Lady Shadow. I pray thee are doing well on this darkest of night."
*Standing from her seat Shadow returns the jesture, gracefully she curtsy.*Good evening to you to Mobius and you aswell Storm. My night could be better if there wasnt unwelcomed guest that now occupy my throne room.
Storm simply followed, merging more from the depths of the night as velveteen shroud of woven shadows drapes from the swooning depths of midnight's inertia, falling over soft shoulders to conceal the attire swishing decadently beneath and the weapons sheathed at her slender thigh, finding it somewhat amusing that her presence had again returned to a location sworn never to, but things change. Motion beguiled her form in leisured saunter to where Mobius leads her, always staying slightly behind and at all times to his right, movement that could be determined as nothing but stealth and adept prowess- a pendulum like sway underneath thick mantle of shadow, eyes languidly looking around to perceive the expected and already know the unexpected, astute senses uncoiling from within like serpents awakening from archaic slumber, tasting the air for all presences tangible and intangible…lurking, watching, waiting for any form of movement hostile or that which could easily be regarded as so. At all time her stance remained rigid and military, head held high in grandeur and regal posture, coming to halt at the side of Mobius and looking upon the Lady he gracefully bowed before; having never seen her before or exactly knowing who she was and yet received greeting of respect, one that would be returned in nobility and esteem.Long flowing ravenesque cascades flowing with the very motion of an obeisance only suited to that of royalty or gentile. Still she remained silent, observing the proximity and then looking beyond towards the Castle- eyes narrowing in heinous discord before returning back to the lady before her and once more a slight nod would be administered.
~Taking a deep breath Shadow looked at the two before her, she followed their gaze back towards the castle.Upon looking back at them she begin to softly speak.~Do not worry they are to self involved to notice that I left. For that matter I dont even think they knew I was there to begin with, so noone will bother us.
~Mobius would nod more sternly at the mention of those who occupy her throne room. It confirmed what he had heard, but that provided no amount on comfort to him, only more irritating thoughts of things to come. Though, he tried to mask that irritation under humor.~ "It doeth seem as if all thee fools, have clawed their way through their prisons, and removed the dust from their graves. Only beggin' to be put back in…" ~A smirk would appear over his lips, and as much as it meant to be a jest, it hit him as more true than he realized at the moment. ~ ~Every so often his eyes would stray to admire the vision of beauty that stood at his side, but Mobius managed to keep his stature and mannerism to be very official in nature. Proving on the outside that he was hear on manners of business, and if Storm's presence and nature would truly give this away.~
Yes well the fool says he's leaving, but i'll beleive it when I see it.Please take a seat.~Shadow jestures towards the marble benches behind them.~
Listening to every word spoken in contempt of those who lurked inside like abominations in the womb, slithering around in the embryonic fluid of yet another fucker who should have remained gone, deleted and forgotten. None within the Castle held her respect standing next to something that simply was not worth pissing on let alone regarding in the same sentence as the name 'Darkheart' the definition of cretin would be well displayed underneath the sobriquet of a proclaimed 'king' seating himself upon a throne of fools like a self-righteous pompous idiot dressed in the garb of a sinister clown and allowing all of his trained "doggies" to perform or attempt to act like bad asses when in fact the entire clan was somewhat laughing…at the very thought a grin would inspire malevolent entertainments or burlesque parodies and it would display quite openly. In a voice salacious and sultry sardonic plumes and timbre would manifest, a chuckle escaping twixt lips of dark vermillion resembling poppies so deathly opiate and lustrous, an acidic humour clearly audible as she spoke for the first time in defiance of Darius and his 'fearsome comrades'…"Hmmm it seems that in the stagnant wastes a circus has come to town, a King of Fools sitting before his performing doggies imitating tricks they have learned whilst in the eyes of his pleasure. How profound and cunning that must think they are? Waltzing in a destroying a few random rooms and spires and throwing a few stale words around as if their words are moulded with importance" Dark eyes moved to Shadow, looking her over in a silent scrutiny before unfurling words honeyed and piquant, feisty and unyielding. "My dear Lady, accept my apologies that you should have to endure weak thorns amongst the beautiful roses. They are somewhat amusing though, look upon them as jesters high upon each other's intoxicating stupidity and the one upon the throne basking in the ambience of his own dissonance, drunk on an ego that has no more respect then a lemming…entertaining and amusing to say the least."
~Mobius would gracefully make his way over to the marble benches, knee length, black silk would flow behind him, seemingly as light as the very shadows that laid upon the ground below him. His movements were slow, and unrushed giving Storm plenty of time to hold her position in relation to him The least he could do for her now was show consideration in that manner. A light chuckle would rise from his gut at the words that floated upon the night air, the smile remained on his face as ~ "All pleasantries and annoyances aside," his eyes would rise to eye the castle once more to specify his meaning."There had been rumors, and I had hoped that Darkheart had not come to a point where factions within the ranks were being created." Mobius took gracefully lowered himself on to the granite benches looking to Shadow, with a light smile. "But, we hath come on behalf of the council of Demonsheart in hopes that you might speak with us on such matters."
*With a graceful nod and soft smile.*Thank you my dear Storm.*Taking a seat on the marble bench she extends her hand up grasping the blood filled amulet that draped around her neck.~Looking over to Mobius with a gentle smile.~Well since the so called king returned he has been trying to get the whole family behind him.So far many of them have, but I think it is solely out of fear.
Silence again would wash over her, there was nothing at all which would grant her concern that Darius had somehow installed fear into the hearts of this family, another amusing factor to the say the least but she would remain quiet until further inspiration to add any input, things were already growing taxing and portentous. Standing perfectly still in that military manner, remaining in flawless composure listening and observing- adoring the kiss of nocturnity and crisp breeze unruffled and nonchalant by the information received. Stance imperturbable, allowing the lady and Mobius to converse, she was not to intervene or disturb whatever was to unfold. It seemed that Darius had resulted into bully tactics once again in the most immature and dishonorable methods possible, but what could one expect from a snivelling gutter trash?
He shook his head in disapproval at the tactics of Darius, but they were comparable to Tanthis in so many ways. "They only understand half as much as they need to. There is more to ruling than fear" Mobius managed to smile through this as he begin to speak once more in those laxed tones giving an aura of ease around him. "I do apologize for coming armed in negotiations such as this, but there were factors to consider. There is good reason that we have come seeking you rather than the ones who embrace ignorance inside." Mobius looked to Storm, and his empathetic nature was giving him the feeling that he should get to the point. "The Council of Demonsheart offers a proposition for you to join us as the leader of Darkheart, and if you accept this proposition for alliance you will have a place in our council in the seat reserved for the monarch of Darkheart.."
*Letting go of the amulet Lady placed her hands over one another in her lap.*Please don't apologize, anyone who didnt come prepared would look as foolish as those inside.Lately I havent been able thru my own house without wondering what lied around the corner. So I would except nothing less of you two.And to the council proposition, I would be more than pleased to.
Mobius would smile once more and extend his hand towards the Lady Shadow. His crimson brown eyes looking directly into hers, and it only seemed right to an agreement of this magnitude. "I see many good things in our future if we are united, and it is all too joyous of an occasion to bring the true leaders of our great clans together. May our allies be safe, and our enemies meet death on swift wings"

~Shadow taking his hand with a smile.~I couldn't have said it better myself. As do I, I just regret that our families were torn apart in the first place. But now if youll excuse me I now have to deal with the trash that is littering my house.~Looking up to Storm.~It was a pleasure to meet you my dear.Hopefully next time we meet I will be able to offer you more than just a meeting by moonlight.~Looking back to Mobius she bows to him.~Thank you once again for this meeting.
Mobius brought himself to his feet, and returned the bow that was offered to him with a light smile. "I wish you the best of luck in ridding yourself of them, and do not worry, it was our pleasure." He gave one last nod of content toward Lady Shadow before turning to face Storm.
Eyes of a predator gazed askance to Shadow and then to Mobius, a nod of approval given before all perceptions were released towards the Castle listening to the conversations and events unfolding within, just something to add a little flavour to the lackadaisical environment writhing over her senses, inhaling their scents and toxic auras fluctuating in pitiful emanations. How could anything fear creature so based on self narcissism? Abhorrence seethed from those abysmal profound depths of wisdom and illumination; like midnight pools glowing with the omnipotence of moonlight or frozen effluences within a frozen mirror; emotionless and unsympathetic. In need to amuse herself or simply act instead of being that of those inside and prattling incoherent babble and meaningless drivel.None of them knew what true loyalty was, only that of fucking each other over…or attempting to gain a place that was no longer their's due to exile or personal abandonment; And then upon a whim of boredom or in need of an event to boast their ego decide to waltz in and try feeble bully tactics to gain respect, or throw a few tantrums like what Darius was obviously in the process of to get their own way…pathetic trash! Storm didn't know much of Darius other than the Demonsheart's detested the name let alone the face- why? She knew not, but then staunch appraisals and loyalty was a virtue long infused to her demeanour. But she grew impatient; troubles tormented her own mind and wayward family members that should have been shown the door was not on her agenda list. But she would respect this alliance due to position and the oath and wishes spoken by the King. Respectful of their haven she would not do much other than extend her voice to the ears of another, the beloved commander of Demonsheart, KaliCity Saflicia Darkbane that soon they would converse, a meeting of sorts ushered by the very intentions of her mistress; Storm. Preparations would be made should certain "elements" attempt to stand on her heels they would be met with the riposte of annihilation, and even that would be a quick reprieve and barely a difficult task. Caught in her own thoughts of tangible death and torture she barely noticed the soft spoken words of Shadow, but it was another presence in that Castle she loathed with a fiery passion. Alexa, eyes narrowing at the very pitiful stench of her and a low abrupt growl would ripple from parched oesophagus…before attentions would return to Mobius and Shadow, words were just words to Storm, actions is what seals a deal- surely this would be proven in time as again she spoke. "The wrong done upon your family and those who remain true to the crest of Darkheart shall never fail my dear lady if you have truth and honor on your side. Let the dogs fight over a well gnawed bone for they simply show they are animals and do not hold the prestige of their bloodline with respect or wisdom. Let them fight over each other's carcass like carrion crows, it is after all endearing to them. Bring yourself up to another level and not down to their's and you and I my dear shall get along…perfectly"
~Standing herself and smoothing out her gown she looks back up to them she nods slightly to Storm.~Good evening and may you find safe passage back home.~Turning she started to make her way towards the castle.~
