<<< ooc apologee... >>>
Apparently in my readings I made a judgement error in thinking Lord Raven and Lord Falcon were on the grounds, albiet farther away than the house garden, near the back wall somewhere, of the family Manse...
In that error posted NPC play as if they were on the grounds... I apologized and delete the gardener post to allow their story to continue uninturrupted.
Forgive me Lords Raven and Falcon, I shall not mettle more but shall inform you that depending on where you ARE in the city, there is an old cemetery about two miles south of the center of town... a mile or so from the castle which lies beyond it.
Please continue, and I DO so hope, as do others I am sure, hope you finally find your way to our doorstep.

-The mad beating of the woman's heart stopped but it was too late, the rage was beyond control. Raven felt it rip savagely at him. The scream that echo across the blanket of night was his own with the agony of the burning need. He couldn't register that Falcon had tossed the dead woman aside. The rain that slammed down against him wasn't felt as the beast stepped on the edge of freedom. Talons long sank down to rip at the rocks of the path as pain raked over his core. Damp curls spilled down to curve against features wrinkled with the pain of the beast, damp strands clung hard against the vampire's features as orbs shone with a ferocious crimson.
He tried to stand only to be thrown back down against the rough gravel of the path, the hunger raging into him, death so close as the whispers of dawn circled his head as to mock him. Head tilted up to send another howl to screech through the air as it seemed the world came to a standstill. He didn't hear the caw of his feathered friend; he didn't hear the rage of thunder as it called out in loud screams against the night. He just felt that tearing pain as he dug talons within the rocks ripping a few from his pads of fingers sending large pools of blood to seep down to kiss against the soaked ground.
No longer did he hear the warnings of Mother Nature with her threats of dawn. Her threats to end his damned existence on her world. Words from Falcon were faint as he fought the frenzy that kicked so hard to be freed from within him. He was covered with the madness and insanity of the beast. His soaked huddled almost doubled over body shook violently as growls tore free from his throat to fill the night with the sounds of the beast he truly was. Orbs now glowing flames of crimson red warned of the insanity and death that could happen as he lifted his head to try to make out the steps he heard.
The scent reached him before it dawned on him someone had drew him close. He knew the scent that dripped out slowly to melt against the rain. Soft did the groan come before the beast hissed across his lips. Within depths of him soft was the call that this was someone he could not harm, it was someone too dear to him. As the taint of blood filled his nostrils. Arm with the speed of aching need gripped against the body so close dragging it down as the beast roared free, the sweet vitae too strong to deny. Long slender taloned fingers curled within redden locks pulling that bleeding pale neck closer that held his salvation.
Once more a growl screamed against his lips before head tilted down sending the long fangs ripping into the wound that held his survivol. Deep was the growl that vibrated against the pretty pale flesh as he drank ripping hungrily of the wound. Hand like steel gripped those maroon locks as he felt the thick liquid slide over his tongue to spill down into the depths of his throat. Lids grey closed down over the damning red orbs as the vitae danced down into his dying body, reviving him like an angel's touch. Arm with indescribable strength pulled that life giving body closer. As fangs demanded the feast that would calm the beast.
Once more that tugging call deep within gave its warning as the beast backed away being sated with the feast with each pull of the vampire's supple lush lips; blood trickled down the corners of Raven's mouth. The clouds of insanity started to clear slightly never fully because Raven was always a bit on the insane side. He felt the body he held jerk and the deep moan play against the lips of the one held. He knew he was to stop or take a step he always hated when finally the scent he knew. With a cry of dismay he ripped those sharp long fangs free from that slender pale neck. Head looked up to gaze down upon Falcon red orbs sought to see life there. Soft was the cry when he realized he hadn't gone too far, the beast wasn't full but sated enough for now.
Two figures soaked thoroughly stood crouched as one held the crimson headed one within his embrace, head dipped down to send now flushed lips down to kiss upon the mounds of Falcon's lips. Still weakened he knew they had to move or nature would carry out her threat. Slowly with weak legs Raven came to stand as tongue brushed soft over that nasty wound of Falcon's neck, soothing it to close. Arm slipped around the other his life long companion, his lover, his mate, and his life. He stumbled as he finally heard his feather friend cawing not to far away; the driving rain began to wash the blood from their bodies as he prayed for some damn God to allow them to make it to the shelter the bird of death had found.

« Reply #46 on: Feb 28th, 2013, 01:23am » Faint within the back of his mind, he felt orbs seeking and watching, dark was the grin that played against his lips. Thought danced quietly with the slight insane mind as orbs of crimson glowed with the for now sated Beast that lived within the vampire.<i>Yes follow us pretty, be sure you want to meet us. Meet what death looks like.</i>
Weak, feeling the hot touch of dawn pushing at their backs, Raven gripped the weakened Falcon as he moved faster towards the call of his feathered friend stumbling almost repeatedly to the ground. All that mattered now was getting Falcon to a darker place before the sun came out to play; he knew Falcon would be stronger with the sleep of the day. That's all they both needed. Hurriedly the younger vampire stumbled towards their salvation from the day's death touch. Words like silk fell from Raven's lips comfortly to the other.-
"Soon, soon darling. You will be safe. I promise always safe. Even with the cost of my own life. We shall sleep embraced together. Soon beautiful. Almost there." __ 185-Conversation by Firelight Nicol jan 25, 2004 2317
For nearly 600 years Nicolaera had bride to the methuselah, King Darius, and for nearly all of that time had she fed from him exclusively..and he in turn, from myriads of hapless wayward kindred granting unto them the final death. She had come into darkness only separated from him by two generations, making him in vampiric society her grandsire. Through the course of her time at his side, she was to gain much from the generational power of this rich vitae as it coursed in it's purity through her own veins and manifesting itself within her strength and powers. In turn she was bound to him and rarely moved from the confines of the ancient castle with but exception of business and the occasional sport of hunting to relieve her boredom. Once the Demonsheart assimilated back into the throws of Darkheart and the clan wars subsided...Her sole amusement was left to the internal jihad of politics, a wayward family member, or the occasional hapless monster hunter that happened to cross her path.
And now here in the threshold of her ancestral library, she stood facing one such man. She had brought down countless so-called slayers for sport.. yet ..Drake would never be counted among them.. There was that in him which had set him apart from all the others.. yes he was extraordinarily beautiful and dangerously seductive~ that alone was unusual for kine…but there was more..a passion had encircled them in it's flame.. and a forbidden pact became forged between them. But now he was forgotten of his past, his frail mortal will was now bent by an arcane evil from the bowls of Ganzir.
Within a shadowy myste her clothing had appeared to change, then change.. Now shrouded in long black velvet, she was nearly ready for the journey a journey with him that would take her into the lions den, once there her power would be put to the test to vanquish her ancient foe. She was nearly ready, but there was one matter she had to attend to first… Within her mind, her sire, Tanthis relentlessly called to speak with her before she left….She turned to Seraph, deep indigo eyes shimmering with nocturnal fires and fueled by a powerful will sought to lock with his ….
" I am nearly ready…Please rest… I will not be long… "
She did not give him any explanations, and with a graceful turn, she vanished from the doorway completely as if she was never there. The insubstantial travel quickly, for she appeared at Tanthis' door as his voice still rang in her mind….
At her sires door she paused in silence briefly, then without even so much as a knock upon his door she willed it to open..and open it did. Torch light from the corridor flooded in behind her lengthening shadowy silhouette.. Entering with her came haunting whispers of on the air that lingered about her along with the scents of roses and jasmine~ these thoughts echoed from her consciousness to brush Tan..
He looked up at his daughter and smiled, then answered the question she had asked of him before Seraph's arrival: "Tis not that I have no faith in you my child, I just don't want you to sacrifice yourself. I would rather see Alexa dead than you facing that monster"
Her presence was eerie and wrought with surpressed power ...ruby fire emanating from the obsidian diamond amulet at her breast shown like a beacon in the shadows, well before her facial features came into clarity..She answered to him in an angelic tone... "...I go for Drake..and yet much higher stakes be involved, if Alexa is to be freed~ and she must be freed father.. then I shan't be alone.."
Tanthis replied then; "She would be safer within the abyss than anywhere near me"
Nicolaera strode farther into his room till the firelight warmed her flesh with living the living colour of alabaster...she was stunning in her youthfulness, yet within her eyes, she carried the mark of wisdom She stepped close to her sire, then turned and past him slowly at first.. eyes upturned from over her shoulder never leaving his..She wisped "What passed between the two of you that maketh thee to spurn Alex so?"
He watched her coolly as she stepped in front of him whispering over her shoulder, then answered: "Nothing my dear, only that you face that demon which will free HER"
Lightning briefly illuminated shadows followed by a reverberating roll of thunder that echoed the ancient walls. Nicola, feeling right at home with the tempest's rage replied softly: "Father.. surely thee knowest that demons are notoriously honorless..Remember Margh? Surely he intends not to trade, Myself for her..and she will require her own champion and that is not all......... He will not stop with me.. nor us... but .. his agenda is to make all suffer.. all to feed him with their own agony..You better than anyone should know this, for you are of the blood"
"He reminds me of me in my younger days" said Tanthis
"Father... he is much the same... but older.. and hungrier..." replied Nicolaera

« Reply #47 on: Feb 28th, 2013, 01:23am » "He is not older than me my chylde" Tan said unequivcably.
Nicola turned her gaze from the embers to face him more directly and added "According to the manuscripts, even thy own father was amongst those whom bound him within his own sword.. hence Drake being his perfect catalyst for a perfect vengence..He comes after me and yes even …you… It be my will to not merely rebind him or banish him, but to destroy him, thus freeing not only Drake, but all of us.."
Tanthis' eyes narrowed and his tone became stern as he spoke: "you wish to go against my father?"
Nicolaera faced him and moved closer; the scent of velvet roses and night jasmine filled his senses in her closeness.. the scarlet fire from the black diamond spiked and ebbed with power and light that refracted over him like crimson sunlight off a pool of undulating water.... her fiery eyes narrowed in turn as she answered... "I goeth naught against their work.. But..to do what they were either unable or reluctant to do…. To finish it once and for all..."
It was evident that Tan was becoming annoyed when he answered: "What makes you think that in going against them, you are not going against me?
She turned around, her back now to him and moving towards the fire a couple of paces before turning back and facing Tanthis once more..She raised her chin high with a defiant aire about her she said..."Pray tell my -dear- creator... just how is destroying this beast of Suffering defined as going against thee?
With a hint of venom Tanthis shot back at her; "Have you forgotten my true nature my daughter, Have you been away from me so long that you have forgotten?"
For a second she studied him silently.. Inner fires filled her eyes...Amber bled through the indigo blue till eyes of hellfire shown glared back at Tanthis..the fist sign of the emerging the beast .. the beast she for so long fought to master began to surface... the aboussu fires tainting her blood also began to darken the amber with streaks of black that erupted into her pupils as a familiar single bluish-black flame... darker grew her voice as it carried a metal quality across the space between them answering "Your own blood saw Suffering as enough of a threat to contain him once... Now it threatens that which I hold dear, and I shall extinguish it's thurst by any means available to me..Tread not on my path Father"
Tanthis stood unmoving and unmoved.. the embers of his eyes remained steady upon Nicolaera in the darkness, and he spoke in a low voice; "So you go against your own blood, even against your own true nature.. and for what… for Love? < he laughed mockingly> HA ha ha ha ….tsk tsk, the old you would never give yourself up for one you love … you have changed so much"
The battle of beastly wills appeared to subside, and so too did she overcome her emerging inner beast.. The demoness was not gone.. merely surpressed, for now.. Her eyes grew softer as the amber receeded and her expression emotion mellowed... "Love be a power that can change one... but more than that.. I was once human.. and despise that as ye do Father, it is still a part of me .... that notwithstanding, however, I have no intention of giving myself up to that beast dear Sire..I have every intention to recover that which I have lost .."
With that said the red satin and black velvet beneath her robes faded into darker tones, as she turned and began to walk from him her shrouded figure faded into insubstantiality, vanishing from the room.
Moments later where Chrono sat .. the eerie sensation that he was not alone permeated his surroundings. The tempest raging outside blew open a window shutter spilling in wind and rain.. the torrent extinguishing a nearby candle.. Another chill moved upon the tendrils of a cold breeze encircled him lending to his senses that of roses and jasmine..a haunting feminine whisper filled the room and echoed through the shadow.. thoughts and desires voiced in a language foreign to his ears… but soon gave way to clarity within his mind…she spoke not out loud but to his thoughts only…her voice now recognizable "Chromo… soon I will leave with Seraph… You must follow… but he must not know… you must come unseen…unheard… You must come as shadow, Alexa needs you to free her….. but one thing you must remember Chrono... leave Seraph to me.. you must not touch him..." __ 186- no post here __ 187-Re: Conversation by Firelight Chrono jan 26, 2004 1106
Hearing the voice in his mind, Chrono nodded sliently as he stood up, his darker form taking on a stronger apperance, deeper darker almost as dark as the shadows as his elven side all but disapeard and let out what he had tried to keep secret for so long. the wraith in him stood there where he once stood and looks around the room; a wraith in a half mortal body. walking towards a wall he reached out with his hand and closed his eyes as the wall simply started to ripple as he walked into it, melding with the shadows as he went to search for Lady Nico so he may watch her and serph so he can follow them in utter silence __ 188-Re: Conversation by Firelight Seafoam jan 27, 2004 0321
~sees chrono's shift in forms... and than his disappearance in to the wall, looking puzzled...~ what is going on in here...~sighs softly, than closes her eyes concentraiting on the goings on in the castle... senses the two newcomers outside, along with the rest of her family's whereabouts in the castle.. reaches out with her mind, calling softly to tan... "tanthis?.. What is going on... what trouble is here... Alexa, nicola? what is happening? For once.. around here i dont know what is going on."~sighs softly, standing as she wraps in her quilt, feeling lost.. walks to the window, and stares outside... trying to piece the puzzle together~

Pain tore through his slender frame , pain laced with the erotic pleasure of what such a act could give , fangs sharp dug deep into his arched neck , column so white lashed with the taint of his own hands wound. Crimson rivulets trickled even before Raven feasted , body snapped at the ferociousness as he was held tight within the others embrace , two entwined like many times before only now it wasn't pleasure it was something deeper..it was the will to survive and the will to give to another. Vitae so precious flowed , lips had parted to let upon the air his cry , a cry of pain and wonder , so quick it was melted only to be replaced with the sultry moans as strength started to wane. Fingers clutched at the other as his body quivered and knees threatened to buckle , like water draining from its source his blood dwindled .
Not a moment to soon did Raven tear his mouth from the gaping wound , weakened a soft moan bubbled from his throat as lashes fluttered to open , and open they did to gaze back at the man before him..the man that held him close and looked upon him with fear then relief , those tainted lips moved closer to gently caress his own to grant him the taste of his own essence. It was with regret the kiss died till he was left with but Ravens taste mingled with his, tongue grazed over the wound that still leaked its steady flow of crimson yet upon touch did edges meet and flesh melt together to cover the havoc that once lay upon its surface.
They both were weakened and as Raven stumbled to stand so did Falcon only support by the others tight hold. Falcon groaned and swayed till his world ceased to tilt and strength pressed into his limbs. He wasn't aware that Raven's pet had sought out a sanctuary for the day that was fast in its coming , they would survive the sleep , each had enough to get them through till dusk the next day , wrapped in his arms was all he desired at this moment , to rest safe and away from the days harmful touch..
So it was that the pair stumbled along the path , rain drenched till clothes clung to their pale limbs ,following the bird's insistent calls . He heard Raven`s words and only managed a nod as words failed him …soon they would be safe ..soon they could rest. __ 190-... But home is nowhere Raethgir jan 29, 2004 1559
~Standing outside of the gates of the estates (rhyme...), Raethgir silently stands still, within the cool rain, the night right before dawn is so beautiful, his tight vinyl pants repelling the rain, his black vest repelling the rain, his feet soaking in the light mud gently. He smiles looking down into the mud, his long black bangs clinging to his face, his eyes glowing bright green, "the rain is so beautiful".
His nose lightly flares as he kneels to the ground, his body so feminine and beautiful, even more so wet. He closes his eyes, his dark crimson lips smiling with such beauty. He rubs his arms as a slight chill comes over him, his pale flesh, the color of a noble, glows within the twilight of the setting moon. He lightly looks to the east, the sun wanting to reveal itself.
Rising from his kneeling position, Raethgir holds out his right hand towards the far road, the runes embedded into his palm react instantly, the cold blue onyx swirls of energies circulate rapildly within their chrystalis runes. Almost as if a vision from the heavens appears before him in a cloud of black mist, two beautiful creatures holding onto themselves walking towards the castle. He smiles and his nose flares, smeling a slight distress. He turns his eyes once more to the east and his face goes blank. He understands and looks back into the mist of visions.
He lightly waves his other hand close to the vision, the vision slightly becoming distorted and ruptured due to the flow of energies changing. Suddently his left hand's runes begin to glow a bright crimson, the energies more intense and become even more intense as each rune begins its circulation of energy, as if each rune is a living being within his hand. Once more he looks to the east, due to his recent encounter with his sister and her chylde embrace he has somewhat gained a few weaknesses, his eyes return back to his concentration as the shadows amongst the trees seem to bend to his will and become distorted as if reaching for his runes.
Even the shadow coming from his own body begins to become distorted and reach out towards his left hand, The right hand's vision fading fast. He smiles lightly as the shadows begin to swirl into a dark crimson mist, the mist begins to shape into an onyx portal. The surrounding area can be seen clearly, the shadows as if non- existent. His eyes become pale and white as his own vitae becomes involved within the channeling of his energy. He closes his eyes fighting himself as the portal suddenly stops spinning and swirling. He breathes lightly and looks to his right hand, the vision returning to normal. He closes his right hand, the vision immediately disintegrating. He flicks his hair lightly and walks into the portal.
The exit of the portal becomes known quickly as the shadows around the two beautiful creatures begin to bend and becomes distorted, the shadows swirling into a mist infront of them, the energy intense, the portal lightly appears as if a door of light. Slowly Raethgir walks out, his eyes pale and white, his eyes as if dead, it is obvious he needs to feed but he fights it subconsciously. He stands within the rain, his hair clinging to his feminine face, his body pale and wet in the rain. His lips dark crimson red, he smiles lightly and motions for the two to enter, "You need rest, you can trust me, come."~

-the rain danced down hard against the slender forms stumbling to the call of the bird of death. Breath fanned raggedly against Raven's lips as he held Falcon close, giving strength from the depths of himself though he could barely stand. Instinct drove him on; he had to make sure Falcon was safe. Dawn whispered her death call against his ear, as he drew closer to the caw of the bird of death, his feathered friend once more that saved both of their asses. Tight ebony damp curls dangled down in his eyes, as breath raced hot against chill curves of lips, fingers clutch to the slender waist of Falcon. Misting orbs glanced over to the other to watch if he should have to carry his companion. Emotions rode within those odd color eyes that he rarely let any other see, they told of deeper feelings of what the one he clung to meant to him.
Vaguely the shadows played against the cliffs that the two elegant creatures struggled to, Raven's orbs took in the shadows like a lover; he could see the opening of a cave of some sort, breath pushed hot against tiers as he moved towards the welcoming sight. Words like satin caressed against the howling wind, but to winded to speak over the wind that tossed his soaked curls around his shoulders and his sharp features.-
"Almost there. Hold on dear. Pull strength from me. I need………you."
-Words that floated upon the air only to be lost in their softness against the rage of Mother Nature's wrath. He didn't feel the ice cold of his soaked body as it made his clothes cling tight to pale flesh. Orbs flashed as he suddenly felt warning bells go off in his head like an explosion, a hiss kissed upon his lips as he stopped not far from the entrance of the cave. Arm circled around Falcon became tighter as he felt something coming, more than instinct went off in his head. Lids slitted down as eyes shifted to a defensive crimson color, low did the growl tumble from the depths of his chest to rumble against the full swells of his lips as shadows began to dance before him. Talons still spilled bloodily against torn fingertips grazed Falcon's side as he shoved the other beautiful form behind him.
Raven lowered in front of Falcon as hand drifted to curl long slender digits over hilt of his dagger as he watched the shadows shift in front of him. Slow did the whisper of that wicked edge blade pull from sheath. Narrowed orbs became dangerous as rain pelted down against him. Damp abyss color locks clung lazily against the sharp contours of his cheeks. Lips pulled up into a snarl as he watched the creature simply appear from the depths of the shadows. Muscles coiled and became taunt as he shifted slight posed to strike if the creature came closer to Falcon. Orbs ran over the form before him then rose to meet those dead orbs with deadly dangerous orbs of his own, crimson flames danced wildly within those hues of insanity.
Words rode against the wind sharp ears heard the others word rake over him like gas on fire as the word trust vibrated off his mind. Trust? Who was this man kidding? Lips pushed upward more to curl lips over fangs in a dark evil snarl as those flaming hues watched the one before him. He would kill if he had too, to protect Falcon he would bring down worlds. Fingers long curled tight against the jeweled hilt of his dagger as talons cut into the soft palm of his hand. Body strung tight as orbs flicked over to the portal of shadows. Snarl turned into a deadly hiss as orbs once more move to the other form before him. Like hell he would trust anyone but Falcon, or enter the world of darkness of shadows.
He knew the entrance of the cave was but a few feet from Falcon, mind span with thought quickly as orbs of red tint never left that form before him with the outstretched hand. If the creature reached closer he would draw back a stub. He could always push Falcon to safety and take on a battle as the sun beat down to eat his flesh from the bone. Yes he would die for Falcon without a blink of an eye. Trust? Something Raven didn't do with ease, it took years of watching to bring even the slightest trust to swirl within those orbs, now only danger flashed within those red tainted hues, a deadly danger, and insanity that was always on the border of his mind.
So rain slashed down against his crouched form, ready for the battle if forced. Cold darkness swept within those depthless dead eyes as they sent a challenge silently to the other. Hiss lost upon the wind as water slide down rugged pale features giving the appearance of a dangerous animal, but that was what he was now right? A dangerous animal. Soft a growl peeled against those curled lips as he watched and waited arm lifted so as to push Falcon to safety when dawn tired of her soft threats and do as she so warned. Rain didn't shield him from the warming of dawn sliding over the blanket of night. Time was running out for all, but still he crouched ready to defend the only thing that mattered to him.
Growls ripped from his tiers louder as he faced the creature before him. - __ 194-Re: A Stranger Comes Falcon jan 30, 2004 0258
The night was losing its helpless battle as the call of dawn was thick and loud in his head , his flesh prickled with knowledge , he fought back the driving need to just sleep , each foot dragged and placed before the other, twice he had stumbled yet Raven's arm about him kept him from pitching forward into a heap upon the muddy path they walked. Rain unrelenting cast down from the heavens to tease fingers of misery upon the pair , yet it wasn't cold they felt only the weakness , lack of precious vitae and the fear of losing the other .

"I need to sleep Raven.."…he whispered into the night air..
Lethargy took its hold as his senses failed to detect the presence that grew , it was Raven's body that tensed , that deep growl that rumbled through the body he held like an earthquake . It was now he lifted his head that had been bowed weakly , eyes blinked and shifted in hue once a bright emerald green they darkened as he watched this shadows shimmer and merge . Trees seemed to bend and wilt , darkness converged and seemed to surround them both as they stood , his own frame stiffened as he dragged the last remaining strength . Before them both the shadows met as a swirling writhing mass that seemed to suddenly erupt into brightness as a figure emerged, Falcon didn't have time to react as he was shoved back by Raven , he stumbled yet managed to stay upright , body swayed as lips thinned and face contorted .
Fear was what most would experience when faced with such a venomous glare , eyes narrowed and a hiss rip from his mouth , yet he held not the usual quality of someone to be scared of as weakness assailed him dragging away the usual feisty aggression he gave. He staggered to come to stand at Raven's shoulder yet slightly behind , both as eager to protect the other that it seemed almost odd to watch the balance of power fluctuate from one to the other..
His vitae didn't hold the strength it once did but still he dragged what he could from within as it burned hot and sweet, his orbs changed to black as he stared at the man who offered out his hand , a hand Raven was more than willing to make into his own personal paperweight. Colors flowed about the man , aura unclear yet he was able to see it was pale marking him as like them (Aura Perception)..Kindred...but he wasn't like them ...the aura sparkled meaning the use of magic...the man's emotions wasn't clear but due to Falcons current state it wasn't surprising .
Raven crouched and Falcon sensed more than saw him draw his weapon rain wicked lashed down at them both as the rumble of distant thunder caressed the ears , neither made a move...yet it was Falcon that swayed as if drunk, his head rolling forward only to slowly lift once again and focus on the stranger in their midst.. __ 195-The Great Disappointment Raethgir jan 30, 2004 1113
~As if eyes of cold and darkness both stared into the very wim of his enter being. He could feel their perception flowing all around him, this power from them. It was hard not to smile, to feel such power coming from them, but he did not. His outreached hand do not move, not at all. His eyes lightly darted to the beatiful sheath and hilt of the dagger this beautiful creature held on to. A smile escaped him this time, followed by a small chuckle. "I understand."
He cold shifts his eyes to the cliff they look to inhabit for this time being. A smile, still apparent on his face. The rain as if a extravagant wall between the three brothers, yet not kin at all. His outreached left hand silently stays unwavering, a gift of freedom into the halls of sanctuary for the kindred. He lightly flicks his hair around as his gaze turns once more to the cliffs and around them. "I understand indefinately, time is of no importance to us, but it is of importance now is it not?" A much more beautiful laugh escapes his lips as the humor and yet a loving echo spawns off into the distance.
Standing with his naked feet in the mud, his toes lightly shift, feeling the cold beautiful pillow of dirt and gravel. But though at comfort, he still fights hungrily within himself, his vitae trying to take over his being once again, to use such a power can become weakening he told himself over and over but he did not listen once again. He clenches a fist with his right hand, the conflict apparent. His eyes still a pale white, he looks back once more to the beautiful creatures. "I deserve not your trust or do you mine, but i will offer you sanctuary. I will make what you will to be yours instant."
His left hand drops from the two, but before the movement, one cannot help but notice the runes embedded into the flesh of his palm, crimson and beautiful swirling energies within tiny stones. His eyes slowly shift between a rainbow of colors as his hands slowly shape a tiny triangle in front of him, a small mumble of words coming from deep in his chest. The runes within his palms flicker, something not usual this night, the energies within flicker but instantly come to life, as a pale white light explodes into being, caressing all of them and the enviornment around. The trees, the grass, even the sky begins to pull towards the light held within the palms, the shadows of the world around him, bending to his will.
His eyes lightly turn its gaze to his palms as the flowing energies within their chrystalis glow an ominous white, but a dark white, suddently turning to onyx. The light around them fades and it becomes darker, the gaze of this creature turns to the cliffs, his smile apparent more than before, a beautiful smile from dark crimson lips, but a smile taht fades as the vitae from him begins to shift and turn uncontrollably within. Raethgir falls to his knees but keeps his concentration on the cliffs. His fangs become appaerant and his grits his teeth together, the rain so heavy on him, the concentration so hard to keep. The mud clinging to his pants.

« Reply #51 on: Feb 28th, 2013, 01:25am » A dark rumble echoes into the distance, the cliffs begin to speak a great voice, as if the cliff moves itself, it changes from inside as if a beast being caged, the noise of rock and stone clashing. The great rumble of the earth as if a quake. The shadows of the cliff bend towards its bottom, the shadows shifting and bending everything around them, distorting the world itself. The sky becomes darker, the air around all becomes thinner, the wind begins to die, the rain becomes like heavy drops of blood, as if life itself is leaving. He slowly lets out a grumble as blood begins to run from his lips, he lightly coughs as the runes energies dance with such energy.
The energy takes its form and slowly makes its way, as if a small ribbon, a ribbon of hope, a ribbon of black satin slightly caresses the cliffside. Dancing into the bending shadows, the ribbon becomes one in the dancing of the shadows. The cliffs rumble with a great force, the ground lightly shakes, the shadows dance creates a type of wall shielding the cliffs. Its as if he is keeping them from the cliffs. But the shadows dance slowly stops, the shadows being to replace themselves in their former place. The shadows rest and the world returns to normal, He slowly stands, wearily as if barely able to hold his ground, he lightly struggles on his feet. He raises his hand and opens it, "I offer you rest." He points towards the cliffs with his other hand, as if a dark hole had been forced into the cliffs, a dark black shadow, a cave. "Keep your self alive, We will meet again."
Raethgir lightly smiles as he struggles to slightly bow to the beautiful ones, he turns and enters into his swirling shadows. Almost instantly the shadows around the portal cease, the mist gone. The man who came from nothing, left from nothing.
Shadows break and rip through the world, the shadows bend and swirl into the place around the open room, the fire begins to burn slow and begins to die, its color becoming a dark orange and almost black. The mist within the castle bend and distorts to the middle of the room. A portal appears from nowhere, the dark figure Raethgir walks out, struggling to stand but falls to the floor, his nose cracks into the stone floor and blood immediately spreads across the floor. His figure even more white than usual, his entire body pale and struggling to feed. His fangs slightly naw at his lips. His vitae running weak but rampant. His eyes cold and frozen over in white, he cannot see and cannot even hear. His consciousness gone, his blood in control.
The portal slowly dies as the fire errupts to normal and the room changes to its normal state. Raethgir silently lies on the floor, his hands clawing at nothing, his is lifeless as it seems? __ 196-the crack stone Seafoam jan 30, 2004 1950
~as she silently stares out the window, she senses the portal opening in the room. she then hears a crack on the floor as if someone fell and hurt themselves... turns toward the sound, as she sees the blood on the floor, and rage face down upon the floor. tilts her head lookin at him for a fraction of a moment, and quickly walks over to him.. bending down over him, kneeling upon her knees. she reaches with her hands, placing them under his side, and rolls him so he is face up... takes in the look of him, and mutters to herself softly.. she stands walking to the bar in the corner, and grabs some towels and ice... brings the towels and ice over to him, and gently removes the blood from his face, pinching the bridge of his nose as to stop the bleeding. as the bleeding stops, she places ice in the middle of the towel, and bundles it up. she places the ice upon his nose, as to stop the brusing. she looks at him as she continues to nurse him, knowing better than to trust the lifelessness she sees.~ __ 197-Cries from the Blood Nicol jan 30, 2004 2337
Nicolaera had dutifully answered Tanthis' questions.. and she had traveled the path of insubstantiality to reach Chrono, her wispered plea reaching into his mind. . . requesting aid for the rescue of Alexa.
Abruptly had she left Drake's side, without much explanation.. but not for long though she felt it necessary in order to ease her thoughts of her sire's demands. . . she could not have told Seraph for she felt he would not have understood . . .now at least she could face him with a clear mind. .
As Chrono rose to become one with the shadows .. Seafoam stood at the window still oblivious to her presense. Nicole could feel his pain, his weakening, his need . .for their blood had always been one. . .his cried to hers and she answered . . her lithe figure emerged from transparency into corporeal substance as she sank to the floor at his side. . her will reached into the aether issuing a soft word from her lips "calix" within her hands appeared a polished goblet. . her wrist her peirced, and her dark essence flooded into the challis filling it before the wound sealed also of her will...she handed the cup to Sea handed saying:
"please care for him as I must go . . time is of the essence and little be left to me. . ."
As she looked to him once more, soft fingers brushed stray hair from his face and caressed his cheek .. then she rose stepping back. .youthful stoic beauty stood draped in dark gossamer silks all shrouded in black. . .as she walked toward the door she faded once again into ghostly insubstantiality making her way back to the library. . to Drake. . . .

~as the apparition of nicola appears, and the goblet is placed in her hand, she looks to Nicola, slightly confused... yet knowing what she must do.. hearing nicolas voice, she replys softly.. "I will care for him as I always have.." her eyes puzzled at nicolas words for but a moment.. "and may time be on your side." as nicola fades back into the shadows, she lifts Rage's head, placing the goblet at his lips.. softly forcing his lips open... tilts the goblet slightly as a drop of the blood slowly pours into his mouth staining upon his lip...~ __ 199-Bleed Black Raethgir jan 31, 2004 1243
~It has been taken care of, this night of cloud and rain. This night of pain and misery and of hurt and death. The air is staunch and dead, its as if no life has ever existed this night. The fires of the sky burn as the sun finds its way to the horizon. Life springs into life, the birds, the creatures of the wild begin to awake. Life always finds its way, but in the darken corners of the world you can always find death and there it waits, until the night comes to carry away this life and create pain and misery the very essence that leads it. But death doesn't only enjoy those things, love and passion is found in death also.
Raethgir's eyes slowly stare into the neverending ceiling of twisting cracks and ghostly forms of mist, his eyes white pale, not even seeing his own realm but the realm beyond. His eyes covered in clouds of visions, he sees beyond his existence and into the next, he sees a child beyond him, young and vibrant. A smile appears upon the face of his ghostly form, the vision exuberating. He has never seen such a beautiful child before. The vision slightly blurs feeling blood nearby, blood exactly like his own, but the vision returns as his blood leaves his side. A mortal child, a beautiful mortal boy, how can this be? The boy smiles at him and he holds out his hands to hug him, but as in shock almost in horror and complete misery, the boys hands covered in 7 crimson runes.
"Raahhh" screams Raethgir in his ghostly form and suddently blood fills his lips and mouth, his body begins to flutter, his strength almost instantly regenerating. His fangs apparent, he opens his mouth and grabs the goblet to let the blood run into his throat and down his face and neck, his blood taking over, his rage to feed exceeding his own will and strength. He instantly empties the goblet and drops it to the ground and licks himself uncontrollably, the blood feeding his strength, regenerating him, his flesh slowly returns to a pink yet still pale color, beautiful. The ghostly white covering his eyes leaves him and the vision fades.
His eyes turn a bright crimson red as his blood takes over, his vitae becoming more powerful than his will, he rises slowly as his strength becomes more regenerative at the minute, but his hunger has not ceased, he slowly turns to look at Sea. His eyes light up with intent fire and pure hunger, like an animal starved and hungered, his form feral and twisted. He silently looks at her a moment, studying her and a slight smile twists on to his face, his eyes meeting her neck.... her vein. The one vein that feeds the hunger the most. The hunger within his eyes overpowering his very will.
Almost in an instant he reaches out and grabs her, his arms wrapped around her body, locking her arms to her sides. He fangs apparent as beautiful daggers found only a king's tomb. He lightly rubs his forehead into her neck shifting her head to the side, his strength beyond his will to move it, his hunger stronger than he, he will not let go, he cannot. Raethgir licks her neck lightly and feels the energy below. His eyes burning like fire, looking through her, and seeing the blood flowing in her. His eyes close as his fangs drop, dipping into her flesh, embracing her being. He drinks, his grip so tight she can hardly breath.
The embrace as long as a mortal love, his body feeling tremendous power flowing all through him, but slowly his mind gains control as the hunger settles and he instantly throws himself off of her. He shakes his head uncontrollably in panic and shock. He cannot believe what he has done to someone that he loves. He begins to cry and returns to her and holds her. He silently holds her against him and cries silently to her. "Forgive me, I could not control myself, please forgive me, damn this blood in my veins, forgive me Sea." He holds her against his form, his beautiful form of a pale pink, his eyes bright green, his lips a dark crimson.
He silently looks into her eyes, his tears slowing, "forgive me." He closes his eyes and kisses her forehead, his lips touching the beautiful skin, the soft touch of an angel, such pleasures not of this world. He holds her neck, stopping the bleeding, his runes swirling with great energy, as if fire, it burns the wounds closed. He shakes his head lightly and looks to her eyes, "forgive me." He lightly kisses her forehead once more and kisses her lips, embracing her. He holds her in his arms against the floor, holding her in this infinite moment. __ 200-A painless embrace Seafoam jan 31, 2004 1521
As the scream comes from his mouth, she watches quietly as he grabs and drains the goblet. Seeing the change in his eyes as the blood takes over knowing what will happen, as would happen with during the blood rage... In the next instant her arms are grabbed as she is locked into his embrace, she smiles softly, tilting her head, all but offering her blood to him, knowing that he would have asked, if not denied himself if he had the control. Winces softly as his fangs penetrate her flesh, knowing that if it had been someone else... they would have been in severe pain. As her healing energies do not mix with those of the vampire. She closes her eyes as she feels her very lifeblood draining from her body... in the next instant the sensation is gone... she opens her eyes, looking at him as she sees the look of panic and shock on his face, feeling the very emotions rage inside of him. Smiles softly looking at him, as he takes her back into his embrace, lifting a hand to lightly touch his face, in a caress, yet a comforting gesture. "There is nothing to forgive my dear... I knew I was in danger, the moment I placed the goblet to your lips. I know that had you not absolutely needed it, you would have not taken it, and denied yourself the very essence that you need to sustain your being." Smiles softly to him... "I was more afraid for you, than I was afraid of what would happen to me. And this is the only way I am able to help you. Do not feel guilty. I would do it again, and again... I do not regret giving you my life's blood." Smiles softly as she rests her head weakly upon his shoulder, closing her eyes, as she is held in his embrace.

-crouched Raven was, the incessant caw of that black bird of death played loudly against the howling wind, as dawn came closer. Orbs of fierce crimson stated on the man before him, as lips curled into that deadly snarl. Sharp was his sight as he caught the glowing stones, magic, something he definitely didn't trust as he watched the rainbow colors sparkle within the palm of the man. He felt the ground rumble as magic snapped harshly within the air, louder to him than the thunder that roared it angers against the lands. He felt the cold touch of shadows as they danced against the cliffs erotically as if to block him from going to the haven he sought for Falcon.
Growl tore across those pretty mounds that held that snarl against his tiers. Lighten ripped across the skies but couldn't penetrate the magic that danced against those cliffs, he felt Falcon sway in his weak state rage tore through him at the man before him. Slender taloned fingers curled tighter around the hilt that was decorated with priceless jewels, ancient jewels of time well dead as he was. Muscles slender coiled tight a viper ready to strike against the one that would risk his companion's life. Body hummed with the vicious urge to strike out at this one that kept him from getting Falcon to safety. Earth settled with a loud groan of pain as crimson red orbs watched this man disappear as quickly as he come. Hiss spewed against those pretty swells of lips as words of the other died upon the fury of Mother Nature as rain beat down on them.
Whispers of wings barely auditable above the screaming wind as light danced in a frenzy of soft pinks and reds. Dawn had approached. He felt her heat against his bared flesh that cloth of material didn't hide. His feathered friend was circling his cry one of desperation as light raced against the land. Raven pushed hurriedly to his booted feet, as dagger slammed within sheath. Spinning on heels he turned to his companion, orbs settled to those alluring odd ice blue hues as fear swirled within their depths of the coming sun that was but moments away. He felt more than saw as Falcon tumbled forward, arms slender reached forth to catch the beauty, though he was the younger, and the more slender he hide incredible strength as those arms slipped around Falcon. Without a pause as time had finally come to urgency he picked the beauty up. Cradled the weaken perfect form against him as the wind tossed those maroon locks against his wet chiseled features, dawn toyed with his own onyx locks as if to tease with a whisper of horrible death.
Rumble of a growl slammed against those full mounds of lips as he was left with no other option than to take the man's so called gift in front of him. He would just have to take the risk, even if it meant his life, Falcon was all that matter now. His flesh begins to burn as he tried to shield the form he held stumbling towards the shadows of that magic made cave. Growls thundered within his chest as loud as the thunder that yelled against the coming morning. Rain grew savage as he stepped to the entrance. Warning bells sounded within his mind loudly. Quick was his iced gaze down at the one he held to so tight, the shadows of the cave protected Falcon from the burnt of mornings light. With a hiss he felt the sun come, eyes swirled with indescribable pain as he felt his flesh begin to bubble from his bones. No choice left he stepped within that dark magical cave, ignoring the bells that screamed warnings within his mind.
He moved weakly into the shadows felt magic graze over his flesh, soft did the sigh come to kiss against his lips. He didn't like this one bit, but what choice now? Sun splayed brightly outside. Both their deaths if he should go back out to hunt the cave the bird of death had found. Raven stumbled but slender fingers clutched tight to Falcon as he righted himself, further he moved into the sizzling air of magic that spit in the cave. Till he came to the very end of the magical tomb. Tiredly Raven went to his knees, lips grazed soft over Falcon's brow a rare sign of affection he gave now with relief that the beauty was safe for now. He heard the storm outside scream out her rage as she tore and raged against the land.
With tenderness he sat Falcon against the wall, mistrust of where they were forced to be swirled hungrily within those ice hues. Reaching down talons snagged shirt to pull up against the taunt scared flesh of his stomach and chest. Over the head did those talons guide that soaked cloth, then twisted the wet material to squeeze the night's storm from its fibers. Orbs never left the delicate beauty that rested against the wall, as Raven slid down to ease against the ground, laying abyss colored lock against a smooth rock for a pillow. Arms reached out to his companion as grit and dirt dug into the burn flesh of his body, pain sweeping down to his core at what the touch of the sun had given him. He ignored the pain as he pulled Falcon down to rest that beautiful head against the naked flesh of his chest.
Arms sent cloth damp with the storm's tears down to cover Falcon as best as Raven could get it too, arms circled the body that rested head against his chest. Words like silk fell soft against the air as his body burned deeply from the kiss of the sun.-
"You are safe now dear. For now you are safe. Rest with night you'll be better. I'm here."
-words fanned across the crackling air that smelt strongly of magic to die away as lids closed down over those liquid ice orbs. Arms embraced the flawless beauty that rested against him. Mind tumbled around the pain of that soul deep burning of daylight to what if they had fallen within a trap. Mind spoke like honey to him as his body begin to relax somewhat. He would simply die protection Falcon. That's all that matter. Sleep came like a lover's kiss soft and tender. He fought the depths of sleep he needed so he could allow his senses to be alert incase trouble came to call upon them as they slept. Never did he trust other, and magic he definitely didn't trust.

Eyes of furious blood red watched quietly as feathers ruffled to shake of the beating rain that pelted down against the beast. The bird of death denied himself sleep as he kept watch over the one he thought of Master. A guardian that most would miss watched over the two exotic vampires as they drifted into the sleep of their kind.
The wind snapped bitterly, the lighten ripped against the grey skies shutting out the brutal rays of the sun, thunder challenged in a roar of fury. The storm continued throughout the day. Soaking the earth as if to purge her clean of all that was dirty and evil. Still eyes of blood red watched over the cave entrance. Ruffled feathers of the beast all that gave protection as he protected the beauties that slept fitfully inside the magical cave.- __ 202-Re: No Choice Falcon jan 31, 2004 2232
Dawn cracked its whip upon the landscape hurrying back the comfort of night as the sky changed, melting hues of orange and pink far off in the distance, yet still the storm raged, rain unrelenting in its misery as if sent by day's brutal light. A stranger stood in their midst his welcoming hand refused for the simple lack of trust from the pair, his words heard as Falcon struggled to stay focused to not heed the call of sleeps beautiful embrace.
Magic had surrounded them since the stranger first arrived and Falcon could only look on as that hand who's palm was decorated with an array of glowing stones..runes..symbols unseen from where he stood , rain dripping across his vision that blurred and wavered..he could do nothing as the man before them made a small motion with his hand. Brightness like a million stars exploding at once shattered the darkness, Falcon couldn't help but flinch as it enveloped the immediate area in which the stood..he could feel it dance over his flesh as head snapped away and eyes closed to shut out the burning light. He felt more than saw it fade as once again darkness took its hold, only now did he turn his face back to the stranger, earth shook in its rage, it sounded like the forest itself was crying out in agony and torment, his own orbs seemed to flicker as if the immortal life within his body was draining. Magic so tangible he could taste it as it licked at his soul, he didn't watch the creation the stranger made as every effort was given to simply not crumble to the sodden earth floor ..as he had watched the man falter to his knees moments before he now watched him stand..those words rang deep in his mind as he swayed once magic withdrew..
`We will meet again'…then he vanished as if he had never even existed..a dream?..a nightmare?..he couldn't tell , all he had to do was touch , flesh against flesh and he would be able to read the man's intensions, connected through his ability of Auspex it was a heightened version of Spirits Touch..so heightened it had become that he blocked out the uncontrollable visions he saw whenever he so much as touched an object by the gloves he wore.
Night upon night he had been torture by the visions that came as small snapshots in his mind , a glass in a tavern , a touch upon a door..everything he lay his hand upon he could see impressions left in the wake of the person before..He was on the verge of insanity when Raven had appeared one night with the black leather gloves he wears even now.. muffled he was from his gift ..his nightmare.. the simple leather fabric had been his saviour.
Those words teased him, what had he meant ?…no sooner had magic snapped and vanished along with its creator than Falcon's weak body gave out , vision swallowed by the black pit of unconsciousness as if the magic itself had kept him standing , limbs crumbled as the groan fluttered from his lips…Dawn was upon them sinking her nails into their flesh as he was caught by Raven , limp body scooped into the arms of the other , Falcon melted into his embrace , cheek resting against his shoulder as face buried into those wet ebony strands., unaware he was of Raven's dilemma the uncertainty at taking the mans gift of a haven for this day. Weakly Falcon had groaned as those first stinging rays lashed at the flesh of his companion as he himself could feel the pain , within the sanctuary of the cave , a cave created from the very gift of magic's touch it was safety , as remnants still clung to the darkness in its depths, like invisible fingers of lightening that streaked across the newly splinted rock.
His body was placed against the coolness of this pulsating surface , he could feel it slide over his back like a million questing fingertips..his head lolled like a rag doll as he gave a feeble moan. Dawn had arrived as outside the sun streaked over the land to send out a myriad of rainbows as the storm itself was smiling on this new day..deep within the cave , deep within its ebony shadows did the two now rest. Raven gently did guide Falcon against his body, two nestled tight as body was gathered tight, wet crimson tresses did spill over the others chest, as he lay held.
Sleep came on swift wings as now Falcon sank deep into its grip, comfort sought in just the feeling of Raven's arms about him, the words that teased and gave him peace , sweet call to the other …yet he heard those other words whispered deep in his mind ` We will meet again` …Night would find the two lovers as they rise with her call… but for now they rest…peace at last….or was it..?

Seraph, sighed tenuously and gazed at the allebaster figure before him.. the yielding velvet garb bringing depth to her every perfection. To her... he scowled... to himself, he smiled. Only she would dare have the guall to tell the personal embodiment of an ageless power to wait... His eye bore down on her back as she turned to fade away into the castles countless shadowy etches and nooks, as if she were simply ashes blown away by a breeze he could not feel.... but feel a breeze he could. Turning away from the shadowy corridors of the library's great stone archway, he strode past countless rows of antiquated tomes to one of the many arrowslit windows, a brief flash of light, and antagonised thunder catching his attention. He could hear the wind whipping violently around the buildings arches want walls. As he narrowed the gap between he and the wall the familiar scent of ozone and rain gently washed over his senses. How had he not noticed the coming storm before? Weather manipulation had become a knack of this, and as he reached his mind out into the storm, lighting spoke with a titanous roar and shook him from his revery... this was no natural storm for sure.. and more importantly.. it was unplanned. The grim man did not like when deviations from his outlines occurred.. even when he planned for them. A sharp wind managed to stab through the tiny portal, tossing his bangs wildly to the side, and tussling his cloak. His cold gray eyes bore out into the swift moving clouds as if in contest to their might. Like minute pinpricks.. the first droplets made their way through the small window, and he held his hand out, angry momentarily forgotten to marvel at them as they fell across his hand. His back to the room and any onlookers, he smiled down at the cool dropplets speckled lightly across his palm, reflecting little glimmers in otherwise cold eyes. The light in his eyes faded however, as the small dropplets solidified, hardening to minut flakes of ice. His glare bore down on this mockery with almost enough hate to melt the frozen droplets, and as his hand clenched into a tight fist, they cracked and shattered in his grip with a muffled crunch.
He could not rid himself of the cold... it followed him from the abyss.. he wore it like clothing and it poured like icy rivers through his blood. Seraph held out his clenched hand, and opened it, a minature snowfall of shattered icelets dropping to melt upon the warm castle floor. Part of him relished the chill nature of the abysal power, and yet another part of him yearned to toss it off, and feel the worlds warmth again. The conflicting feelings wared withen him, and his anger... another ally, rose again withen him, stiffening the air about him with rigid cold. He marveled.. and yet stood in utter contempt, as the air grew stiff.. and the dropplets eventually turned to light, flurries of snow. His cloak billowed with another gust and he roared, aghast at how little human it sounded. Through his voice he heard many voices, some beast, some other... the language of the true Demons... the evils of Times own begining. Seraph roared and threw his arms wide, the now ice dropletts swirling around him, raven hair flooding around his face like the frayed ends of a wraiths cloak. How could he have let this happen to himself... in his journey to destroy the beasts... the monsters and demons.. he himself had become that which he most sought to end. All at once he ended his trumpeting bellow, and fell to his knees in a pile of his own snow. The harsh rains resumed thier torrental assult outside the castles walls and withen.. a cold... powerful.. but lonely and confused man stood, flakes of snow gently drifting off of his cloak's edge.
No.... no he would destroy these evil beasts... and then destroy the blade.. he would end this mad game all in one fatal swoop and regain his sanity, and mortality. Resounding withen his head was the bestial roar that had issued from his own lips... it mocked him.. it mocked his quest and morals. He glared down at his hands.. strong, sure, hands that even now seemed more claws then hands. How had everything become as this? Every attempt to hold onto his memories, or to remember that which he had forgotten rewarded him only with the incecent whisperings of the blade... it was near all he could hear anymore. In contempt, he threw an arm up, sending his left half of cloak to rest upon his shoulder as he strode back to his seat, still musing to himself the depravities of the situation. Standing beside the great oak table, he rose his mug to his lips for another quick sip, frowning as the warm liquid turned instantly cold as it passed over his tongue. "Yes.." he muttered agrily to himself. "A mockery, a foul shadow of a once proud liniage." But he consoled himself of the freedom he would bring himself...after releasing himself from the blades bondage and the nightmares of this woman he was forced to endure at every moment of rest. He glanced to the doorway that her form had disolved past... and tried again to remember that night of rain and blades so many years ago... eyes narrowing with concentration. She appeared to him just as she did now.. beautiful..dangerously elegant .. he remembered the warm rain hailing down around them as they stood, defiant on that shoddily thatched roof of Balefire Tavern. An argument below had led them outside into the storm, blades drawn and ready.... The resulting duel had somehow ended them on the top of the building.. and...... Seraph paused a moment as a memory threatened to reveal itself. A forested path, and Nicola.... yet they were not fighting.. not even arguing? Seraphs lips silently mouthed his confusion as his mind strained to hold onto the memory and discover its meaning... he thought back to Alexandria's rantings in the nether.. how she had in her last waking moments mentioned something akin to this... and he again had seen it in her dreams... How could this be?
The sound of the rain outside seemed to clarify the imagery... but it too waned. Seraph glanced sidelong to the arrowslit window and saw the darkness of night paling with the first hints of sunrise, and the heathen rains begining to relent. The cold man scowled at the window as if blaming it for the ill timing.. they would have to leave soon.. if not now. Where -had- that witch Nicolaskaya vanished to? Dipping his fingers into a small pocket under the ruffel around his throat, he pulled a small envelope out, taking a moment to smile at it luridly, before waving down the next servant to pass him. He bade the servant to take it to the owner, a Lord Tanthis, as the golden scripting on the letter implied. "And be swift now...." He added, glowering viciously at the woman. As she skittered nervously off he stepped out of the monolithic library and back onto the second story of the main hall, leaning against the railing and waiting impatiantly. His eyes trailed along the walls, the ornate carvings and decorative scriptings.... the castle itself truly was a piece of art.... perhaps when this was all over he would come back to claim this as his home.... He caught himself smiling at that, but cared little, he would win, how could he not? Nicolaskaya was the final step in path, and would be the destruction of her own people, the extinguishing of all this bile she held dear. Even as he thought this, however, something clenched in his gut. He had spent years (time moves differently in the abyss) working every angle of this operation out... and yet every time he tried to do something as simple as gloat, something withen him rebeled. "I was born for this..." he almost snarled at himself, "The Benadoli Family has existed for the sole purpous the the annihilation of the worlds evils... and I will do no less..."

It is a simple thing this letter in Tanthis's grasp, it reads a short verse, and references back to the envelope from which it came.
"A gift from a friend.. and if fate wills, an ally."
Sitting nestled in the shallow recesses of the envelops folding, rests a small silver ring, carved with runes few now would know... Few like the reciver of the package. The scripting gives the impression of a communication link, a simple enough spell, however a usefull one.
(And should you pick it up, or even put it on.. the Silver is more than a little cold to the touch, not that it would bother you.. but still.) __ 207-OOC update on Custody Battle Alexa feb 3, 2004 2004

Melissa __ 208- The Hunt Raven feb 6, 2004 0315
-night creep in silently, Mother Nature had spent her rage as the moon began to rise. Within the cave the two young vampires slept. Raven hadn't allowed himself to drift into the deep sleep he needed so he could protect Falcon, felt the gentle air that swirled from the darkness outside. He felt so tired that he lay within for a few more minutes. Then there was a whoosh of fluttering wings as the bird of death came within the cave's domain.
The animal landed not far from his Master, as head tilted comically as if to say rise and shine pale boy, it's time to move on. The dark carven still smelt of the thick magic that made Raven wrinkle his nose with distaste. He gently moved from under the sleeping Falcon setting him gently down against the ground. Free from the beauty he pushed to his feet, he felt the night's fingers dance against his naked chest. Still that cool air wasn't as cold as the flesh of his body.
Lid went down over one odd colored hue as he sassily winked at the feather creature that had been his companion for so long, words flowed against his pale lips like silk as it twisted within the air that still crackled with magic-
"I take it you are eager to this place. Don't like magic either do you? We must find food and fresh clothes. Falcon should be safe here, he needs the rest. Join me on an adventure to get clothes and the drink of life?"
-Raven leaned down calling to his blood, fangs dipped down against his tongue as he called forth Dominate 6 (Obedience). He bend down to place finger pads gently against Falcon's sleeping form; finger tips touched light against the other's arm. Words whispered against the air, soft and alluring as he whispered his discipline. More habit to whisper low than the need he brought forth the power to convince Falcon he was truly tired and needed to sleep longer. That when he did wake he would not venture further till Raven returned. As fingers brush soft in tender care, once more the youth stood to his feet.

« Reply #57 on: Feb 28th, 2013, 01:28am » He glanced back at the beauty once more, orbs of odd color swirling with the deep feelings before he voided those almost white eyes to shed all emotions so he could hunt and find that of what they needed. His booted feet never made a sound as his step silently out of the magic tainted haven. His feathered companion landed down against his slender shoulder, the talons ripping down into the soft pale flesh as the night air washed over both with the night's cold. Blood trickled down that shoulder to swirl down chest, soft was the purr that vibrated from full sulky lips at the sweet pain and the tinted smell of his own vitae.
Mother Nature teased this night, sending long locks of his ebony kissed hair to billow out behind his slender frame as if to apologize for the horror temper she had thrown. Soft did those boot land as Raven began to backtrack from where they already had traveled. He felt the tickle of the wind caress his sharp features and bared chest. His mind quietly thought of the beautiful man he left behind. Guilt burned through his veins but he couldn't risk anything harming falcon and they both needed the drink of life and fresh clothes. So he made the sacrifice to move into the world that didn't understand the bred of beast they were. Cursed from the first bite taken from their mortal lives.
The man and bird of death moved with amazing speed as they hunted for the things that were so direly needed. Silent death they both were to those that happened to cross their path this night. Elegant beauty was Raven, and the bird a curiosity to any that may glance upon the red eyed creature. Senses alive as he honed in his skills as he hunted. He felt the path fan out as he came once more closer to the woods. A brief glance was given over his shoulder; a soft frown pressed those lovely lips as once more he thought of the exotic beauty he left behind.
It was a deep ache each time they parted, but he would never allow that to be known. Soft was the sigh that flowed from those mounds of lips. Falcon had become a part of him as much as the shadows of the night that they searched together, for answers and for the drink that gave them one more night with each other. Emotions ran deep, though the ebony haired beauty would never come right out and say it. An odd sight to be sure as Raven puckered those cupid bowed lips and blew a kiss against the air, to dance among the wind. Words drifted soft toned across his tiers as he whispered quietly-
"Be safe until my return. I need you, more than you know. Wait for me my dark beautiful angel. I shall return. "
-head turned back to face the dark dancing shadows of the forest as the wind played soft against the fading whisper as the slender pale man stepped within that dark world of trees and other things most mortals wouldn't even realize waited in the abyss of the night. Boots came down quiet against the sodden earth as he entered that dark cold world of dead and undead. Slow he came to a stop. Cooed gently to the animal that rested against his shoulder. Words like satin fluttered against his lips as he drifted a hand up to trail pads of fingers against the bird's onyx feathered head.-
"Seek that which we need. Go M'friend. Aide me once more. ……Hunt!"
He never winced as pale flesh ripped from the lean slopes of his shoulders as the bird of death took to flight. Not a single caw came from the beak of the mighty bird as it fly higher, only his ears heard the soft call of those large feathers as they brushed against the air. He knew his companion would seek out faster what they needed. Once more booted feet began their silent trek through the dank dark chilling forest. Orbs of such odd color flickered with no emotion to give away the thoughts of the man that moved through the wood as another shadow.
He had faith in his feathered companion, knew the bird would circle back when what they hunted was found. So he drifted like the dark tendrils of night himself. He didn't feel the cold of the night, as he moved silently within a world he had come to be use too, and come to hate. He hated what he was; he hated her that transform him into this lowly creature of destruction that he had become. He remembered her well, he had trusted her with his life, and his life she took and gave him this curse. He could still feel the bitter lashes against his flesh before she damned him to be a blood drinker.
Past swirled within his mind as he moved through those dark low shadows of the night, feeling the wind barely against his naked torso as he growled low within his chest. It danced upon his lips as his body shook with the rage he felt. He would one day find her, one day he would take her down. Take her life as she had taken his own. He would die if it was a must, but he would find her and destroy her as she had destroyed him.
Orbs swirled with crimson as his rage began to gather and burn through his veins. It was his drive to live. To once more face the bitch that had condemned to this beast of chaos he was now. He would find her. He would search the world. He would end her. No doubt flickered within his mind about this, even this he kept from Falcon.
The night was still young as the vampire drifted through the shadows that kissed against his form as a lover's caress the wind sending a soft sheen of mist to coat his naked torso, features. Sending damp curls to play against the pretty curves of his cheeks. The night belonged to him this day. He was on the hunt for drink and clothes. He knew he couldn't venture fully within the city for he needed time to get back to the lovely creature that waited in sleep for him. He was sure Falcon would be furious.

« Reply #58 on: Feb 28th, 2013, 01:28am » Yes, Falcon would be fiercely mad, but he was too weak to travel and at a fast pace. He would not risk that beautiful man for anything not even watching his destroyer death.
The night young held secrets not many know about. A vampire and a raven on the hunt for life, darker side of life. The wind teased and dance against both as they shifted through the onyx blackness of that thick treed forest. Evil walked at night true enough, but something darker and more malicious was out there this night. Mind slightly crazed with hate, those that wander in his path would find a swift death.
~Walk in shadows with care. For evil breeds evil. But the dark breeds revenge, hatred, and the need to avenge a destroyed life. Fear the Dark not the Shadows. May a God have mercy on your soul, if you chance upon a dark ebony Stranger within the dark.~ __ 209-Re: The Hunt Falcon feb 8, 2004 0050
Dreams unlike any a mortal could imagine ravaged his mind , past bought clear as if the swirling fog within him slowly faded and left visions tangible , cold earthen floor was his bed , tender embrace of Raven his comfort ,ruminants of the magic that had created this haven was his blanket . Whispering it caressed his flesh and bought alive the memories he had long since buried deep , memories of his mortal life , of his family and twin sister that had long since died at the hands of his own creator..his own master.
The storm had raged during the daylight hours , lightening desperate in its attempt to better the brightness the sun struggled to give on this gloomy day , two vampires hidden from her touch within the darkened shadows , two bodies entwined, one sleeping deeply as his pale slender form was torn by the lack of vitae within his veins. His body draped in the wet fabric of the previous night , cheek marred with streak of muddy earth upon his flawless features, once beautiful crimson locks now lay plastered to his face and shoulders in lack lustre waves. Inside the dark confines Raven lay ever vigil, cold dank resting place did nothing to chill their flesh , only the whispering touch of magic was what halted his slumber, too soon dusk would win its battle once more as it melted over the landscape to push back the light of day.
Welcomed it would be to the creatures of the night , all but one that failed to wake as night called out , sleep still held him tight within its grasp unwilling to let him free just yet. Falcon didnt feel or hear Raven rise , unaware his companion intended on leaving him behind as he went in search of food and clothing. He would surely of been angry as his words hushed drifted over the fabric of his mind , obedience he would give at the others instruction , to sleep and not leave the confines of the cave.
Skin so pale untouched by the light of day became gently caressed , soft pads that would graze his cheek yet leave him alone to his dreams , did he feel the aching sadness as Raven left the cave , did it tear at his heart that he could leave him behind..shadows dark comfort wrapped about the slender figure as he lay against the far wall .
Sleep he did for many hours beyond dusks first touch , slowly he grew restless , lids did twitch , tender moan bubbled from his throat as body gave its first movement , fingers twitched , slowly curling into the wet soil beneath. Every move slow as lids so heavy in there effort peeled back with a flutter to reveal the beautiful green orbs , they shimmered as focus was slow to come and confusion was swift upon the moment.
He could barely move , limbs so heavy they felt like lead , he turned his head and gazed about the darkness...
"R...raven?" ...was the soft call to the emptiness , Falcon knew he was alone , it was a fruitless action ..Raven had gone.
Body so slow came to be seated , he groaned as he leaned back against the wall of the cave feeling the wetness soak into his damp shirt , he wanted to leave here , to find his companion but no..unexplained tether held him here , an unexplained need to stay. Beast clawed at his insides , claws that burnt like fire , pain swift to find him as he struggled to keep it chained down , only once before had he ever fallen victim to frenzy , it was not something he relished the feeling of. After frenzy would come the deep sleep , one he feared for within its embrace he would relive his life again , the happiness of his mortal existence torn away as he screamed , forced to watch as every member of his family was slaughtered , only his anger kept him from a similar fate...that and his cursed beauty.
By this nights end Falcon would surely slip into torpor and the agony it would give , his hope and fate rested in the hands of Raven, deep within the shadows of the cave he curled tight , body twitching and shivering as he hissed at the pain that laced through his frame..
" R..raven...do not...forsake me..." he whispered to the emptiness that surrounded him...

Old statues stand like silent guards, hiding the many secrets that have spawned from behind tarnished gate and bolted fetter.Gravestones old and ruinous, forgotten by the cherished ones who mourned long ago,now lay spoiled by unsympathetic winds and winter'd tempest, barren ground trodden by the winter-frosts,battered with the elapsed reminiscences of their lamenting souls. This place..old..silent..not even a memory in the eyes of those long been and gone. Long concealed in the woodlands that surrounds the city.Ancient willows mourning..Their burdensome boughs..Weeping..From the desecration of wars that have plagued these lands for many years now remain motionless in submission to their own silent deaths.Through the leaves, placid sunbeams filter through the now whispering foliage, that leisurely dance within windy caress of zephyr.Diffused shadows loiter upon sepulcher walls and mausoleums..Gently comforting with gnarled strokes like unearthly lovers..Slithering leisurely upon bitter granite stone, lifeless touch upon insincere epitaph. The faces of angels, corroded by the ages...faces gloomy as they stoop in sorrowfulness, their wings chipped away, battered and shattered.
Leaves blow across the ground in burlesque waltz ,as the wind unexpectedly stirs a faint echo inaudible, ghostlike drifting upon the gust of wind that stirs within the graveyard.Birds take flight, abruptly fleeting from the long grass, wings beating in panic throes, the wind in soft lamented timbre echoes her name in dulcet decadence,a presence comes as if borne from a dream, soaring through Lemurian veil, the very din weaving a elegiac enchantment of death and pitiless nature upon etherian tendril..filtering through the very shadows that claw at the graves.Trees growing restless in her wake, their boughs creaking and swaying as they dance to her approach. The winds unfurling..
A soft moan rings in cadence upon the cold tendrils, the wind adopts her very nature..wild and merciless, leaves blowing in a tango of fierce whirl-wind,grabbing and raping the weather beaten ground..Harshly,a nightmare is borne from the catalypths of twilight, clouds racing across the darkening sky, embracing the dusk in nocturnal hues and shadows across the land in dark fury..As her form steps from Lemurian fold. Her lithe form draped in black, cloaked from the sunlight, covering black chain mail attire that exposes supple tones of ivory hued flesh of naval, slits to each side revealing soft toned leg and thigh under clasp fastened cloak concealing the glistening swathed lithe figure. The clasp bearing a symbol of the Baali, similar to that of the baphomet symbol of the Baali worn with dark pride and honour upon her wraith like garb. Her sheathed swords snuggly fixed to each side in scapultare.
Upon her miniscule left side, gently swaying with the balletic fluidless motion of her pace in sauntered grace her ferrum as unearthly as that of her being, elaborately crafted and forged by the weaved dark spells that her delicate hands have crafted from the shadows of DarkForge, possessing the magickal fires of chaos, death and plague installed into the blade of the Falchion. She also bears another within black leather sheath, that of the khopesh,a fine crafted blade also to behold but also one less conspicuous.Hood slightly covering statuesque face, waist length moonlight coils cascades over breasts and down to her waist in tormented tresses. Her eyes hidden within the darkness of the hood,in the violations of her darkness.. They hide..The only visible viseage exposed is that of crimson hued lips stained the taint of fine vintage red wine and blood stained taste, lower finely chiseled jaw line.
Her pallid flesh tones youthful and angelic to behold. An aroma drifts upon the emanations fuming from her, infusing the air with fragrant black lotus to the mortal scent, but, for those who can detect what is hidden beyond her perfect flawless physique, within such exquisite scent lurks the essences of death and unearthly pleasures, the lust within dark filled rapture and ravishing crimson tide. What can be seen from her expression painted upon silky pallid canvas is a pure expressionless emotionless face as her form moves unnaturally..Celerity rippling through the vastness of her very being, heightening her senses and speed, moving in a blur unseen almost to the naked eye, dissapearing and reappearing in various places advancing to the forest outskirts of the castle.
Her head tilts slightly to the left, sense soaring far beyond the normal range of audio capabilities using the gift of auspex..Uncoiling it within her mind like an awakening serpent from winter hybernation seeking the warmth of the sun.She extends this by iron will...psi tendrils flowing upon the wind through the castle..curseful eyes beaming with asphodel glow open widely as she pushes auspex further..Her senses pouring forth through castle foundations, hearing conversations from those within...She even detects the scents wafting upon the air. But,something else catches her attention,"Nicola!"....her senses returning as once again she moves with the same pace and celerity speed, following the direction of what she can detect to where Nicola resides....her pace unfaltering, the main objective is finding her dearest friend, the one who she has ever trusted and shared so much history...this time has been long overdue, but now this call be rectified.. __ 211-...OOC...
