-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sept 12, 2007
She listened to him in the shower a few moments and even contemplated joining him. But she shook her head. "Shouldn't get too close... you can't expect him to stay, Beth" she murmured to herself. She turned and went to the phone. Calling Armoni, she ordered a couple pairs of slacks, three pairs of jeans, two button up shirts and three tshirts all in custom black. She added that they could add whatever else they thougth necessary and hung up with the promise stuff would be there in half an hour. Just as Sho turns off the shower he will hear the buzzer that someone wants in.
He emerged from the shower with a towel around his mid section and drying off his pitch black hair with a towel. Further inspection that oddly, Kojiro had very few scars on his body. It was an scary thought that his body was so unscathed. He sat on the bed as the buzzer rung waiting to see who it was he finishing drying off his hair. And looking for Beth to walk in the room with a suitable attire.
She opened the elevator door for Andrea and thanked her. Heading into the room she set two large handled bags on the bed with Armani written on them. "Jeans, pants, shirt and t's. Also some personal items John was kind enough to add for you ((socks, unwear in a few different styles, and personal things like toothbrush, comb, brush, etc)). I hope there is something in here you like." She smiled and messed his hair up with her hand before caressing his cheek. "When you are ready, we can order lunch up. The cleaners will be here in about an hour. I will let you change." She eyed him up and down thinking how nice it would be to get to know those scars. Then seemed to shudder as she walked out. Seeing his scars would mean him seeing hers. She wasn't ready for that yet.
He grabbed the clothes in excess with under and his toiltrys. He kissed her on the forehead and continued back into the bathroom to continue cleaning up. He didn't expect her to do so much for so soon. She must have truly had feelings for him, even though it might have not been much trouble for her, it still meant a lot to him. "Thanks." He said with a wink before closing the bathroom door.
She smiled at the wink. The least she could do was give him clothes. It seemed so petty since he probably saved her life last night. Not that she couldn't have fought them off, she always had in the past. It was that three days of nightmares that accompanied it when there was no one to keep her from the frenzy. She shuddered remembering the last time and her hand unconsciously went to her hip. She kept it well covered in makeup and hadn't showered with anyone in nearly a decade. Made keeping away lovers easy. If they were worth it, she got what she wanted then left them. If they weren't they went to sleep and woke up wishing that she had. She shook herself free of the memories and went back to her office to collect the menues for lunch. When he came out she smiled from the couch. "What would you like to eat?" She handed the same stack of menues to him from last evening.
Kojiro came out of the bathroom with his new attire, freshly groomed and all. He looked around for her because she wasn't in the bedroom. He looked to the couch and found her sitting there, looking as delectible as always. He sat down beside her than placed his head in her lap and looked up at her smiling. "Your hungry too I see." He blew a linger strand of hair from his face with a tad of difficulty. "What's good to eat around here?"
She laughed and shifted so she could caress the hair from his cheek. Setting the menues aside she rested her other hand on his chest lightly. "Well there is the fantasic Italian I had last night. The Japanese place around the corner does a wonderful suchi." She wrinkled her nose. "So I hear..." Laughing she rattled off everything from 12$ pizza places to resteraunts that served appetizers at 12$ a bite. "The choice is your's baby." She hadn't realized the endearing term she had used but it had come out so natural from her lips. Even dressed in 'play clothes' as she was, she seemed the perfect vision of a CEO.
He perked a brow laughing surprised as what he had just heard- "Oh? Its seems that I'm making progress." He looked at the Sushi menu looking for something to eat, he had a taste for walleye or calimari. "Hmm.., what do you plan on eating?"
"Anything really. I figured Iwould let you pick the place, then pick from what I like there." Her fingers were running thru his hair over and over. She smiled at him. "As to 'making progress' I would sat after enduring what you did last night, and savingmy life, you deserve better than cafeteria food from downstairs." She laughed at him as he read the menues.
Kojiro decided just to eat a bit of chicken caccitore from the italian menu. He placed the menu on the ground and snuggled his head into her lap a bit more. "Beth, what was your Grand fathers name?" The question had suddenly popped in his head. Her mystique was stil alluring to him even though she told him her true identity.
She bit her lip and stroked his hair leaning her head back to stare at the ceiling. After several moments she answered him. "Nicolas Enverias. Lord of Light and Dark." She reached for the phone beside the couch and dialed the number without looking it up. In fluent Italian she ordered his Caccitori and her own Manaccotti. She added a bottle of wine to the order, something from the 2000 year range. Old and expensive, gave a number and hung up. "It will be here shortly." Finally looking down at him, "Why did you want to know?"
He muttered the words to himself slowly- "Enverias...Enverias.." He muttered to himself a bit more before responding.- "I was curious as to why he would tell you to seek me out. He couldn't have really beleived in that "I'm an honorable person" curr." Sho gazed apon her noticing how beautiful she looked from every angle.
"I can't say. I just know he said to find you." She looked at him and her face twisted slightly in curiosity. "What are you looking at? Did you know him?" She shifted to lean slightly so he didn't have to crook his neck so bad to see him. It felt odd to sit like this. As if they had always been friends, perhaps more. She wasn't ready to tell everything but she felt, somehow, that he already knew more about her as it was.
He pondered- "If he was of the Enverias, I likely did. But the name Nicolas isn't ringing a bell. I was contracted as a mercenary by the Enverias clan around the time you said that he knew me. I wonder if this was just a coicidence..?" They both knew them meeting was more than that. But fate seemed too strong a word at the moment to use. "Forget about it love, what's the schedule today?"
Laughing softly she shrugged and looked at the clock on the wall. "Cleaners should be here shortly. Then I have some correspondences to deal with while they clean. It's stuff I can do in here. Unless you think, as my bodyguard, we should work in the office while they are here?" She smiled at him and ran her hand down his cheek. "Though I do hate leaving this place without supervision."
"Cleaners? Oh. The Suits I'm guessing, right." He thought about how hard it would possibly be to fix this place back up. Where they really that incompetent that they couldn't fix this without supervision? Kojiro shook his head- "Now now My Business woman, I don't think we would be getting any work done locked in a office with nothing important to do, which would only lead to one thing.." He smirked mischeiviously- "Or was that your intention all along?"
She was about to answer when a soft voice spoke on the phone's speaker. "Ms Rh'Jod. The crew is here." She smiled and tapped a button. "Send them in, Andrea." She looked down at him and smiled. "I have plenty to do. I don't like worrying about my things." She started to slide out from under him to go get the door to the elevator.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He bit his lip as she opened the elevator door, she just barely got out of that one. Kojiro sat up but eventually began to slouche in the chair again, his unkempt hair wildy frizzle infront of his demonic cat like eyes. He was going to go crazy if he didn't get out of that building today. Maybe he could get her to leave the workers alone and show him around the city.
The crew came in, nodding to Beth and got to work. They were, indeed, a cleaning crew. With vacuums and brooms they cleaned up the glass and the mess the intruders had made. Blood was wiped up, carpets rolled for delivery to cleaners. Beth left the elevator open and disappeared at one point into her office to retrieve some paperwork. If he bothered to come in, she is bent over the front of her desk, tapping one foot absently as she glances thru some folders in front of her. Her backside facing him.
Kojiro strood up slowly and followed after her. As she bent of the front of her desk he got close enough to run his fingers slowly down her spine. He sat here a moment before smirking back to her and moving toward her chair. He slouched in her sleek executive chair, imagining how powerful she much feel siting in this thing everyday. He twirled around once before facing the front of the desk and looking at her with a spark of interest. "How long have you lived here in New Avalon?" He himself had only been in this city for about 5 days. He knew about the main parts of the city but was more or less dazzled by the sheer massiveness of the place.
A soft moan and arch of her back, like a cat being caressed down it's length, was follwed by a teasing growl as he walked around the table. "Careful, love. I may think you are beginning to like your role as lover." She winked at him smiling. As he spun in the chair, she smiled. She often liked to do the same thing. But when he asked how long she had been there, her smile faultered slightly and she rose and sat on the edge of the desk. Looking thru the folder still, though now holding it in her hand, she looked away from him. "I have been here more than 20 years. I try to not stay one place too long, as I am sure you do too, because of my ceaseless aging. Hard to be neighborly for 30 years when you don't appear to age a day. It's another reason for the nano technology. If I can find a way to slow visible aging on mortals, I won't have to move so much. It will be easy to claim I use the same thing and that's why I haven't seemed to age." She smiled and sighed. "It would be nice not to have to hide in a glass tower like fairy tales of old. I want to be with someone and not have them discover I cannot age, while they wither and die." She didn't look up at him and merely signed the papers in the folder she had before setting it aside and taking up another one.
"Changed the enviroment, not yourself." Kojiro scoffed at the premise, he didnt have a problem with the fact that the mortals died and aged so easily. He enjoyed living where ever whenever he wanted, always appearing strong, young. "Im glad that i am the way i am, but for everyone to appear the same, would defeat the purpose of originality." He stood up and went to the window watching the humans move like busy bees along the streets. "I suppose i cant knock your opinion now can I?" He spoke frankly as he continued to look outside.
She sighed and set the folder closed on her lap. "I don't necessarily want everyone to be the same. Just because you appear to age slower doesn't change who you are." She rose and grabbed several of the folders and sat in one of the chairs facing the desk, leaning back and crossing her legs, she continued to work from her lap. "I guess I just want to be like them sometimes. I want a life of my own. I envy you, ya know. To kill when you want, go where you please and not care who knows." She laughed. "Somehow I doubt 'I' could ever get a million dollar bounty on my head. I am not that skilled." She laughed though inside she remembered a time when she WAS that way. Killing because they irritated her with their weaknesses. Those mortals who prize a flower, even past it's prime. Pressing and molding the dried corpses into pretty bouquets or wreaths. A small giggle escaped her suddenly as she remembered arranging skulls in a circle one time only to hold a human close and whisper "Do you like my wreath?" just before adding his head to the bloody pile. She bit her lip and closed her eyes to fight back the urge to remember the feel and tastes, sights and sounds of that last battle she had been... she missed that freedom.
Turning his he head slightly to the side his eyes showed a piercing darkness black as the void as he looked to her. "Stop talking like your trapped here, your choosing to live here Elizabeth. To stay here confined, nobody stops you. You could easily do as you please, you have a life of your own: all you have to do is seize it." He folded his arms as he tapped his foot, he was growing rather restless. How did she stay here so long, he couldnt have done the same thing so repetitvley over such a long period of time. He wouldve went insane. He turned around fully and leaned on the desk staring at her as she sat down tending to her work. "Why envy beings that are so weak, they truly dont control their lives. They live by restrain...I pity them."
She couldn't take it. Without thinking she threw the folders up and rose. Her own eyes darkened though more to a strom grey, the color of the sea in a storm. "You think I stay here BY CHOICE!?" She screamed and slammed her hands on the desk mirroring his stance. "I am here instead of in a jail cell. It's still a cage! I would do nearly anything to leave here. To bask in blood once more by my own hands. To taste the coopery taint on my tongue from the spray. TO love who and where I want and perhaps, one day, be loved in return! DAMN IT!" She turned and stalked back to her apartment yelling. "GET OUT! ALL OF YOU GET OUT NOOWWWW!" The rage in her voice was not to be questioned and the cleaners grabbed their gear and bags of debris and scurried out and down the service elevator as she rose and slammed a foot into one of the display cases holding a genuine English battle sword. Picking it up, headless of the glass cutting her hands, she unsheathed it and began to swing it. Though the motions seemed wild and eratic, soon they settled into a pary an thrust patterns of a sort of dance. All twelve moves being set in near perfect stance and grace as she moved, tears flowing down her cheeks as she tried to swing the agression and pain from her body. If he looked hard enough, he would realize this sword fit her perfectly. Almost as if made for her.
The eruption did nothing but make him smirk. He followed behind her slowly as all the men rushed out and down the elevator. He stood his distance in front of her as she vented with her weapon of choice, but soon his actions changed. While she was in mid thrust he grabbed her, the sword slid into his abdomen as he slammed her into the wall outstretching both of her hands. Blood rushed from his stomach and mouth but the look on his face was of nightmares. he was grinning evily, allmost devilishly at her "Whos to stop you from leaving Beth, hm?" The goverment? Please. What could they POSSIBLY send here to match your will, cunning or skill? You know that anything they sent at you would be destroyed. You have that power stop acting like your stuck here, its a delusion. " Coughing up a hint of blood his manical grin widened as his eyes glowed and then turned totally black, as if to reach into her very soul, "And you have me woman. All you have to do is say the word and i would do your will, to keep your plans so subtle and small is not only an insult to you, its a waste of my time." He Licked her neck, a hint of coughed up blood still on his tongue. "I would open the gates of hell for you. But only if you show me you want carnage. Stop living in this self-ordained prision. Elizabeth. Your destined for so much more.." He sat there holding her against the wall roughly before slowly letting her go. The sword still impaled within him he pulled it out and threw it on the ground.-
She cried out as he was run thru but then was slammed into the wall. As he spoke, tears streamed down her cheeks. He was bleeding. She knew he was immortal. He would survive, but she also knew it hurt like hell. She had killed herself the same way many times to 'move on' to her next home. As he licked her neck, the smell and feel of the blood as it dripped down her neck and stained her sweater made her heart race more. As he released her, she reached for him. The sword clammored to the floor and she grabbed him as he wavered. If it was the same as she remembered, he would pass out from the blood loss. Then as he healed he would soon wake up. Her arms wrapped around him to support him as well as hug him. As she slowly led him to the couch they had been reclined on just an hour or so ago, she set him down and rested his head in her lap once more. "I don't know how..." She whispered stroking his hair. "I am sorry... I didn't mean to.." she looked at the hole in his body and then to his lips where they were stained from the coughed up blood. Unable to stop herself, she leaned down and whispered, "Teach me..." then kissed him hard and passionate tasting his blood and realizeing it was what she had been missing. She broke the kiss long enough to nod, "Stay with me, please..." She kissed him again feeling his body grow colder in her embrace.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The little girl was back. Her figure stood over him onces again. "Daddy said that your the boogeyma- Kojiro cutt the girl off mid sentence. "I am the boogeyman." His faced lifted up and he looked at the girl with applied aggression. This little girl represented his ability to fear, to hold defensive emotions to things he didnt understand. To hide. He grabbed the image of the girl and soundly snapped her neck. "You shouldve listened to your daddy.." He had awakened again, his heart that is. His black heart had been dormant inside his human one, but whenever he felt a sudden unrelenquented birst of emotion, it awakened. He was the old him again. He wasnt an ordinary demon. He was something more, something even more horrible. He was a human thats heart was so black that he changed. He was the embodiment of Chaos, and Carnage himself. He was the Muramasa. He winced a bit as he answered her with a soft moan, he was consious but he coldnt yet move. It had been about 5 hours since he passed out from the sword wound. One eye opened halfway as he struggled to regain himself.-
The room was dim as he opened her eyes and he was laying on the couch. She was sitting on the floor, arms crossed on the cushion beside him as her sleeping head rested on her arms. She was in tshirt now, it was soft grey, not as dark as her eyes bad been earlier. The elevator door was closed and the debris and things were gone, the windows replaced. A blanket, bloody and laying in a lump beside her knees would let him know she had covered him as the workers had finished. Then she had taken the cover off and let him rest. Her face was pale, almost ethereal, and her lips were the crimson of carmine... or blood. She was sleeping peacefully with the sword, cleaned and resting beside her, as if she had been watching over him.
Kojiro sat up rather slowly holding heads head, before looking around. "Ach..maybe i over did it.."He looked around for Beths presence, and found her on the floor. Realizing that she mustve tended to him since he was out he lifted up his shirt and examined the wound. It had healed for the most part already it seemed. He was fine. kojiro lifted Beth up slowly and took her into her bed room and put the covers over her. Her sword was placed to her side as he looked around and wondered where the hell the food they ordered had gotten off to.-
She curled into his body as he carried her and with a soft sigh, fell back into dreams as he left her. He would soon find the food in the fridge covered and ready for reheating. A microwave and stove were in the full kitchen off the livingroom on the opposite side to the bedroom.
After about an hour, she walks out smiling and brushing back stray hair from the coil that had wriggled free in her sleep. Moving towards him on socked bare feet, she seemed to make no sound. She came towards him with no words and ran her fingers down his cheek softly before leaning in to kiss him lightly. Pulling back with a smile she spoke, "Hell of a way to say 'please stay', huh?" Looking down she nodded to his stomach. "Is it all right?"
Elizabeth's kiss surpised him but he slowly became accustomed to it.- "Hell of a way indeed." He lifted up his shirt to show her that only a faint scar remained from where the cold steel entered his body. "Im fine." He reached into the fridge and opted to eat the food cold. He slurped a string of pasta into his mouth as he spoke again.- "If i scared you earlier, i apologize." He jumped on the counter and faced her as he continued to eat his food.- "so whats the plan now?" Things seemed a bit different since that last "talk" they had, he didnt know of what to expect of her if she wanted to leave. He never really had a definitve direction.
She took a noodle from him and smiled hopping up beside him. "Honestly... I don't know." She sighed. "I mean. Leaving is a great idea. But I have no where to go." She laughed. "Kinda of odd... thinking of leaving." She looked out into the livingroom and the other displays she had in there are well. "Taking Excalibur will be easy if we are just leaving though. I mean," she laughs and winks at him, "it IS my baby, so no one will think twice of me bringing it back to my office some evening to 'work on'." she hopped down and went to the fridge taking her own lunch out, removing the cover and setting it in the microwave as her voice dropped. "I have been here so long, Sho... I don't know what to do..."
Kojiro slurped another noodle as his eyes wandered to the cieling in thought. He didnt even care where he went. But he wanted to leave here. "Your going to take the sword and use it as you please. Dont take it if you wont kill with it." Kojiro jumped down to the floor and finished off the food. "I think we should go to the first place that comes into your mind. You must have somewhere you desire to go. All the time youve spent here. You just have to think is all." He Looked outside at the moon, it was pretty dark out now which was the perfect cover to leave.
Leaning on the counter as she ate her food balanced on a pot holder on her other hand she nodded. "I always wanted to see the castles of Ireland. Maybe even the great ruins of the megacity that is abandoned up north. The place they used to call New York till the war decimated it. There are lots of places." When he mentioned not taking Excalibur unless she would wield it for death she looked at his back smiling. "I will take it if you promise not to commit Hary Cary on it again. Even we won't survive a fatal would from it." Laughing she gave it some thought. It wouldn't be hard to get the sword. The building was her's, afterall. As she let the silence stretch, she placed her tray in the sink and walked up behind him sliding her hands up his back then back down and slipping them around his ribs and crossing them on his chest resting her cheek on his back. "Where do you want to go? Till they discover me gone, we have my jet, all the money we ever want, and a yacht in the city harbor."
He closed his eyes as she wrapped her arms around him. "I truly dont care, its up to you. Theres not too many places i havent been anyway." He thought seriously about where they could go, he didnt exactly like the thought of using all her transportation until they found her gone. it would likely leave a trail. He leaned back into her resting the back of his head on her shoulder." Where ever we go it has to have an arena somewhere therein. Otherwise im just going to start causing trouble." Then it hit him, Kratos was having a tournament soon. THE tournament. The tournament of championis brought all of the greatest fighters to one place, it was magnificent. Kojiro smiled as the thought raced across his mind.
Not seeing the smile she answered. "Well, tell ya what. You are my body guard," she laughed at the reason she had originally hunted him down, "so what you say, goes." When do you want to leave?" She kissed the back of his neck then stepped back and began straightening the kitchen up. Dishes from the last few days were rinsed, but still dirty in the sink. She began to run water to fill it with soapy water to wash them. "I mean, I would love to see someplace you haven't. That way, we can enjoy it together. And as to arenas, there are plenty of them in recent decades. Makes things easier when fighting is legal for settling differences. I am sure we can find something." She began to think of which funds she would take money from to put in her personal Caymen account. One good thing, the bank system was more secure now and any funds sent to the Caymen's were only 'withdrawn' so there was no trace where it went. She could secure quite a bit. Andrea could run Atrus in her place till they found another CEO. Poor girl had practically been doing that this last five years. Satisfied that things would fall into place easy enough, she began to hum as she stuck her hands in the water and began to wash the plates as if she wasn't one of the richest most powerful women in the Eastern Territory.
He shook his head- "Well go to Sol, the Black city. I have a friend there that i urgently need to speak with, after that we should have already planned our next move." He went toward the bedroom and grabbed her sword she had left on the bed returning back to the kitchen and sitting it on the counter. "Where going to leave...now." He looked back at the moon, its full shape signified to him an omen. He was making the right decision. "Get ready love." He spoke to her as he continued to stare out the window, why did he want to leave so suddenly?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having never been to Sol, she agreed it was a good idea. When he disappeared into the bedroom and returned with her sword, she frowned curiously. "We're going to leave... now." she listened to the words and paused, hands sunk in warm soapy water and bit her lip. "So soon? But why?" She rinsed the last of the glasses and drained the sink rinsing her hands and turning to face his back. "Sho... what's going on?" She waited a moment for his answer then walked into the livingroom. Opening her laptop on the coffee table where it sat from working earlier while he slept, she transfered several smaller balances into the Caymen acct and then typed in a sequence that would wipe and encrypt the harddrive so nothing could be pieced together from it. Some advantages came for workin with a corporation that thrived on technology. She had some of the most incredible software on her comps. There was nothing personal on the one in her office. She always made sure of that. Sitting on the couch a moment she bit her lip. They would have to make it seem like something happened and they were coming back. She went to where his suite was and began going thru the pockets. First they would set the dry cleaning to be picked up by the end of the week. Then she would make two more email appointments for later that week as well. Making it seem she was planning on being here. The shirt pockets were empty and she tossed it to the couch. About to add the jacket to it, she came across a piece of paper inside the inner pocket. Figureing it may be the rental receipt, she opened it and stood there in silence staring at it. If he had been listening to her move around behind him, suddenly he would hear nothing.
Kojiro stod at the kicthen counter for a wihle, hearing that she had gotten completely silent he went to see what had happened. She was standing next to his coat and had obviously found the death threat that Rin had wanted him to give to her. He had truly forgotten about it, he deemed Rin weak and incapable of presenting a threat. He sighed as she read the note- "...I didnt show you it because it wasnt something you needed to see, dont take it to heart because hes not capable of getting to you Beth." He shook his head, She had to be rather pissed off at him right now._ "Hes not worth worrying over.."
Her eyes filled with confusion as the jacket hit the floor and she held the note out. "You KNEW he was at that party? Didn't you? Who is Julia, Sho? Is she really just an ex compatriot or was she more?" She shook her head and let the note drop and moved across the room past him into the bedroom and began to suddenly rifle thru the other clothes he had. "What else is there? CAN'T REACH ME? They nearly did last. Or did you NOT notice?" She was furious. How could she have been fooled. The tears came which merely made her more pissed as she tossed his clothes and growled. Rin wanted her dead, always had. The break ins, the thefts, the bogus attack on the lobby a couple days ago... had it all been Rin? And where did Sho fit in. Suddenly she realized how much she liked him and hated the fact that doubt had begun to creep between them. She wanted to believe him so very much. But how stupid would she be, or how dead, if she was wrong?
He thumbed his nose as she began yelling. Trying to talk sense into her, "Calm down, your overreacting. I told you who Julia was, stop being paranoid." He followed her into the room as she b egan searching through his stuf.- 'Stop running. You fear a mortal man. " He shook his head realizing how much this was irritating him, the constant questioning of his alliance with her, his connections with Rin all of it. "Rin is merely a person i worked for. Hes no bigger a threat than anyone else who wants your life, but since this is OBVIOUSLY going to be an on going thing here. How about we just eleviate the problem?" Kojiro Frowned heading for the elevator door. He was just going to go slaughter the man and be done with it. "This is so infuriating..ill just kill them all.."
Realizing what he was about to do she ran to the bedroom door, "SHOOOO... WAIT!" She realized how ridiculus she was being when he mentioned Rin was merely mortal. Playing the victim for so many years for the sake of the company had her thinking like one without realizing it. Walking towards him she touched his shoulder lightly. Her voice was calmer as she spoke this time. "We swore no lies. Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't work for him and I will never question it again. I trust you, gods know why, but I do. You say we leave tonight, we leave. Just tell me what to do, Kojiro. I have lived as a mortal for so long, pretending and simpering like them that I am not sure I can find who I am at the drop of a hat." She hoped he wouldn't leave. But she dropped her hand and stepped back. "But if you want to leave, then I won't stop you. I cannot promise I can become a bloodthirsty killer overnight. I can only promise you will never regret staying." She waited to see what he would do.
Kojiros head felt slightly sideways as she talked "Im not going to assure you that im not with Rins group again. I shouldnt have to. " He shook his head- "Nobody expects you to become a bloodthirsty killer, just a person of free will." He exhaled deeply and stepped out of the elevator. And silently moving to the couch, he closed his eyes as he silently contemplated to himself.
Was she going to do this every time Rins name came up? It was making Kojiro wonder, maybe he shouldve just eliminated him when he had the chance, at the very least it would have saved him alot of trouble. Kojiro Folded his legs and exhaled as he stretched out on the couch.- "whenever you get ready beth, where heading out. I know Kurow will be waiting to here from me." He chuckled at the thought of his old friend, he would probably sock him one in the face apon arrival, which was understandible for what Kojiro did to him.
As he spoke of not defending himself anymore on the topic of Rin, she nodded as he passed. "Sorry..." murmured softly as he went to the couch. Settling back and saying they would go when she was ready, she headed for the bedroom. "We will be gone in less than an hour." Ten minutes later she came out in a suite of charcoal grey similar to the one he had met her in. She leaned down to kiss his forehead and whispered. "Be right back." And headed for the elevator.
He watched her head for the elevator and stood up, she was probably going to reclaim the sword. He decided she probably wanted to be alone for a moment and he decided to sit back down. "This isnt going to be as easy as i thought." He took out his katana and examined it, he never once denied the swords will, but it wasnt speaking to him as of late, it made him feel rather lost. He lived by the blade, but his blade wouldnt not speak. Was it this city? Kojiro sighed- "Hurry Elizabeth.."
She went to the lab and chatted to the tech as he retrieved the sword with her other passkey. "Thank, Mike. I am just gonna keep it a couple days to get it ready for the presentation on friday. Will you bring the carry case with you when you come to the demo? I want them to see the lining on it and how it enhances the nanos and keeps them viable in or out of the sheeth." Mike nodded and they talked a moment more. Beth even promised to come down to the lab the next day for lunch. Heading back towards the elevator, she saw Andrea. "If you don't need me, Ma'am, I am going to help Mike and make sure the other techs are ready for the walkthru on Thursday." Beth nodded and gave Andrea her usual passionate kiss and caress. "Have a good night, lovey. And don't forget my latte in the morning please. Gods know I will need it." Laughing she headed back upstairs. She had been gone nearly 30 minutes when she came in and set the sword on the coffee table before walking back into the bedroom. "Let me change, baby, and I will be ready. Do you want me to bring any of your stuff with us? Or will we just get what we need as we go?" She was in the bedroom undressing.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kojiro shook his head as he tapped his foot increasingly more impaitent. "No, well grab whatever we need whenever we need it." He yawned- " I Think im going to go get my old clothes from my hotel room. These clothes dont suit me.." He shook his head realizing that he had left that phone in his other share of clothes at the hotel, The brood was no doubt wondering what the hell happened to him. He would just surpise them with his return in Sol. They would no doubt throw some sort of overly extravagant event for him.
She came back out in black hiking boots similar to the brown ones she had on earlier that day. Also wearing black jeans and a black shirt. She was whipping her hair into a one handed Hunter's Knot as her other hand held a leather jacket. It looked expensive and was of subtle leather, not the noisy creaking fake leather so many 'punks' seemed to sport. "Ok... I am ready." She smiled as he looked her over. Setting the jacket on the couch, she grabbed Excalibur and sheathed it on her back. The straps over her chest were so in like color to the shirt that without the swords weight pulling them, they were difficult to see. "Hope you approve. Something told me the high cut silk wasn't appropriate."
He shrugged- "If not appropriate it wouldve just been uncomfortable when you got into a fight, hypothetically anyway.' He stood up as he went toward the elevator. "It should take us about 4 hours to reach Sol in a car, in a jet...probably 30 minutes." He folded his arms and waited for the elevator to reach the floor they where on. "Yeah.. lets take your little airplane." He said it in a sarcastic voice, making fun of the jet presumably. He usually just walked from place to place, or when he was Chaos fly but he couldnt bring too much attention to himself. Especially not with her with him, he didnt want to bring her uneccicary trouble.
She laughed and pulled a phone from her pocket. Pressing a button she spoke. "Fuel the jet... Sol...am on my way. Me and a business client. I want it ready in 15." She hung up before the other person could have answered. Smiling she winked laughing. "Ain't power grand." As they came into the lobby she nodded to the guard by the elevator. "Car to airport." Was all she said. As they exited the building it wasn't two minutes before a limo pulled up. The doorman rushed forward to open it and with a quick 'Thank you' she entered and smiled to him. As the door shut and sped to the airport she rested her hand on his thigh again. "Seems we were just here. Hope you don't mind the view this time." She laughed crossing her jean clad legs. Last time they had been in the limo she had all but shown him her bikini panties. "It will be about 15 or 20 min to the airport." She smiled at him.
Kojiro smirked as he moved closer to her, moving his hand down the lining of her neck. He whispered in her ear as he bite the tip of it, then kissing softly. "It isnt like i dont undress you with my eyes baby." He moved toward her neck as planted a few kissed there before laying his head in her lap as he had so gotten accustomed to doing. He didnt know why he did it in actuality, but it felt right, like he had done it out of habit.
Her soft gasps of pleasure as her head lolled to give him acess to her neck, filled his ears. As he slid down to rest in her lap, she caressed his hair as she had in the loft. "And don't think I am not doing the same." She stared out the window for a while then spoke softly as if not really sure he would answer or not. "How come I feel I have always known you? It feels like picking up where we left off... or like we never left..." She laughed softly. "Sorry, just a moment of human weakness I suppose. Trouble grasping things can just happen is all." She ran her finger lightly over his lips in suggestion then stared back out the window. One hand resting on his chest, instinctively not covering his arms in case he needed them to fight. And one hand still absently running thru his hair.
He mumbled back to her- "I dont know, i was kinda thinking that myself just now..But the impossibility of the whole thing was too great." This was surely the first weve ever known each other on this level. You said you knew OF me, whilst I didnt even know you existed. " His eyes closed as he tried to keep himself from falling aslepp. her hands felt wonderful in his head, he loved when she did it. He yawned showing the effects of her actions. "Your making me sleepy..."
Laughing as she stopped stroking his hair, "Maybe it's my faerie magic. Hypnotising you so you will do my bidding." She smiled and sighed as the airport came into view. "We are here, love."
He slowly slid out of the car and stood up to witness the view of the airport. The plane was pretty big for a personal jet, she didn't seem like she used it to much though the crew seemed very surprised to see her. He shifted his hands into his pockets and looked upward. "Not bad."
