Dinner had been great. For once, Liz didn't have to dine with bureaucrats, or posture and force smiles where she wanted to serious rack her nails over someone's face.
As Tal and Adam escorted her back to her room, she stopped outside the door and faced them both. Adam was in his suit still. He was posing as her assistant, giving him access to places the armed escort sometimes was stopped from following. Tal was in uniform. Leading the escort, he felt it his duty to be at her side constantly. Neither man believed anyone but themselves were capable of making sure she was safe. They worked well together and she had grown close enough to them and the team that she hoped she would have them with her every time she went off world.
"Ok guys, change of plans." She laughed as they both reacted. Holding up her hands she silenced them swiftly. "Tomorrow is a big day. The biggest one and the one that matters most. We are all dead on our feet. I need you both at your best tomorrow. Fresh, ready for anything, and able to start the day on the right foot and carry us through till we board the transport after the celebration dinner tomorrow night. I know you hate this, but you have to choose who you want to stand guard tonight. I will not allow it to be either of you."
She slowly lowered her hands and brushed imaginary wrinkles off the front of her gown. (see link below) She shifted her stance and smiled brightly at both of them. She was a politician, like it or not, and she was good at it. If she could handle these two men, she knew she could handle anything.

-The mandalorian's hair was tried firmly back into a braid. Normally military regulations required men to get a buzz cut. However, in the blond's case he had refused. He was given an alternate selection of tying his hair back in a braid. It had to be secure as to show no strands on his military uniform. Eventually the Lieutenant would cut his hair, but right now that wasn't on his mind currently. The blond had been assigned into security detail. It was those kind of orders from the SpecForce to guard a political figure. Alizabeth Moroveston. Of course he and Adam had grown a little close to Alizabeth during the number of times they watched out for her. This would continue until Druckenwell had become a part of the rebellion. How much longer? That remained to be seen. But at this point that really didn't matter to the young mandalorian lieutenant.-
-He nearly skipped a step as soon as Liz spoke up. Would this be last night of protection? No; as a mandalorian he would stay up every waking hour to ensure that no one came after her. However, it would be difficult seeing as she was just as stubborn as he was.... then again he was also mandalorian (and they were already stubborn enough). But Kote -- for the most part -- was second in command to the Devil Dogs. So he pretty much held command over who could be on guard duty tonight. Unless, that is, Adam had better plans. Adjusting his posture; his right hand remained out of his pants pocket. Sort of a defense measure in case an attack came; while his left hand remained within his pants pocket.-
I don't like this, -He thought; yellow eyes motioning over to Adam.-
"It's the night before we leave, ma'am. Are you sure about this?" -Though even Tal knew he couldn't change her mind. They had spoken several times over and she pretty much knew everything about them. Kote had enough skill in the SpecForce and as a mandalorian to pull an all-nigher. But protection/escort still remained even tomorrow up till they left.-
